Good place for an affordable stay near Beau Vallon beach. Property owner siblings are good and helpful people. The way to this property is steep slope, which makes walking a bit difficult. But if you rent a car then its good.

We enjoyed our stay at the lodge very much. The lodge is located in a mountainous area. The view of the tropical mountain range and the Beau Vallon Bay is absolutely wonderful. Our apartment was clean, well equipped and had a terrace where we enjoyed our breakfast in the morning. The hill on the way to the lodge ist very steep and one has to be aware of that. Communication with Philippa before and during our stay was easy and she is a great host. The lodge offers a transfer from and to the airport. This worked out great for us because we arrived early in the morning and left around midnight. It was our first time on Seychelles and we had a great experience!

Well situated room. The closest beach is one of the most beautiful in Beau Vallon. There's a very steep slope to get there. Either you have a car or you are in a very good physical condition. The room itself was a bit noisy. You can clearly hear the upstairs neighbors. Finally, although the hosts are welcoming, I would advise not to book the taxi through them as they practice their own prices which won't be in your favour.

Great views and super helpful guys! They'll make sure you'll get everything you need. Super clean, lovely garden and self catering options. You've got everything here. Just get a car if you don't like to/or cannot climb a steep uphill. Everything else is 5/5. Cheers!

Lemongrass lodge is a great green place and not expensive. The view is beautiful and if you like to escape from the tourists vibes at the beach. It is a very good solution.I hoped it would be more quiet during the night. There were so many animals like chicken, dogs, cows and bats which were so loud during the night.

The way down to the beach is very steep. We always walked down and took a taxi the way up for 150 rupees from beau vallon.

Great apartment with amazing view! Internet is a little slow though, but this seems to be an issue of the Seychelles ;)

Prior to our arrival we had arranged with the lodge to have their taxi assistance. We were greeted with a friendly smile at the airport and helpful tips along the way. Once we arrived at the lodge he helped us check in. As for the stay itself it was awesome and comfortable. As many others have written it is high up and has a steep climb. But if you have a rental or take a cab you’ll be just fine. The apartment we had was nice and clean and their cleaning service was awesome. They really go above and beyond. It’s very green with a lot of fruit trees as well. It’s a great safe place to stay. Oh and there’s a lot of Fody’s around. We had one greet us every morning!

This is my 2nd stay at Lemongrass Lodge and both times have been fantastic. Management, specifically, Philippa, has been very professional and responsive to all of my questions that I had prior and during both of my stays. The staff on the property are very friendly as well. My first stay, I met Karen, the housekeeper and she showed me my room. Shortly after, I was greeted by Antoine, the grounds keeper, and he welcomed me with a fresh papaya and rose apples. Very delicious! My second stay, Philippa, no questions asked, helped me get a very important travel document printed out that were mandated by the U.S. government very last minute. She even helped me book a taxi pickup since my phone broke and was unable to make phone calls or text. The rooms are very clean, have AC, wifi and most importantly are COVID compliant. They provide guests with complimentary face masks, sanitizer and gloves. The apartments also have cleaning supplies as well. Lemongrass has everything you need at reasonable prices. Definitely recommend! :) Do note that Lemongrass is up the hill. It's ok if you have a rental car. If you don't, it's about a 15-20 walk to the main part of town in Beau Vallon. There are two ways you can walk. One is short, but is a steep climb and can make you winded if you're up to the challenge like me. The longer way, which is recommended, is less of a climb in comparison.

Our stay was wonderful and the staff helped us every step of the way. They are readily available by phone. The room was clean and the view fantastic. It is nestled in a tropical garden where you can enjoy the fruits! 3 mins down the hill is a calm shaded beach away from the crowds at Beau Vallon. Lemongrass Lodge is up a steep hill, yes, but that is how you get a 5 star view without staying in a big building whose construction destroyed a marsh and a beach. It is clearly stated everywhere that the climb is steep. I did not expect to make conference calls while on a trip to a tropical island so the wifi was well enough for my needs. Internet is slow on the whole island, and slower in other hotels I stayed in so I was happy with the Wifi at Lemongrass.
