The host is unwelcoming, charged us 25% more than the agreed price and broke into the apartment 90min before our checkout time to “sanitize” for the next guests, we had to argue for her to leave. Wifi not working. It’s a pity because the apartment is great with a good view. Nevertheless I’d not recommend it. Edit to the host answer: Checkout time is 10am, the host bursted into the appartment at 8:30am without permission. 🚨I recommend staying away from this place!

Watch out. Lying and hostile host. She acused us on booking - after we gave them 3/10 wich is anyway a higher grade, that we smoke in the room and we used their dirty towels on the beach( dirty because they never bother to change them in 3 days). Also lying on WiFi because we never had access even if we asked. When we booked first the wifi was one of the thing for the room, now they sey it is preferential.. When we were there she said it is off for all guests. All lies eith a mediocre small accommodation with no closets and the worth bad i had ecer sleot in. You can find a lot of options and places in Beau ombre with real evaluation and clean. Avoid them.

Misleading advertisement The problem with this accommodation is that on booking.com the owner promotes it as a "Deluxe Apartment“, but on our arrival she calls it a budget accommodation herself. An “Apartment” by its definition never has a shared kitchen. The description of this accommodation is misleading, and it should be advertised as a room with a shared kitchen. Justifying a wrong classification with a single point on a long list of facilities is simply wrong. She should be as honest on booking.com as in person and call it a budget room and not “Deluxe Apartment”. This costs her and her customers money and nerves. The shared kitchen and the room itself are really very basic. The "private" balcony is just separated with a thin self-made wooden screen from your Neighbours. It is not accessible from your room; you must go through the shared kitchen first. It is more like a youth hostel without much privacy. We choose to pay the cancellation fee and we booked a proper apartment in Beau Vallon which was even cheaper, much closer to the beach, with a new modern kitchen, balcony, living room and bedroom.

Great Stay, lovely host. Enough parking space just outside the property for 4 to 5 cars. Great view of Beau Vallon beach. The beach is 2 km by road. Bus stop is a just a 5 min walk to the main road. Petrol station and supermarket is a further km ahead.

Very good apartment , good location, very friendly and nice owners, feels like home. Clean and big room. Beautiful ocean view. Everything is near: beach, shops, bus stop. Beautiful, quiet area and neibourghood.

Worst place in the world. The owners only look to get easy money from you. No cancellation option. We booked it per accident and I wrote 2 minutes after the booking to please cancel the booking but there was no respond. When we call them with our foreign number also no answer. They only respond once when the reception in the hotel we stayed called them but still they told me that the person to do the cancellation might come some day next week. Of course we never get one answer to the 1000 of emails we wrote them because it's nice to get money for free and to sell the room to other people. We went to see it from outside and the area is just super bad and dirty in the middle of nowhere so please do yourself a favour and don't stay there

Bad Host! Bad Host! Bad Host! Just runaway. You don’t treat people like this. Who leaves their guest out in the RAIN? She had us standing in the pouring rain! Out of 34 countries I’ve traveled to and blogged, her attitude takes the cake. Worst ever! If it wasn’t for my husband, I would have posted the photos and video I recorded. Learn how to treat guest. You got very lucky. Funny thing is she had the nerve to tell us it was not raining.... as she pick up her clothes off of the line due to the rain??? Our luggage got soaking wet and so did we. 1 star is even too much of a rating if you ask me. Okay now as for the room, the beds were very hard and the shared bathroom, yes your heard right, SHARED had ants. Shower was tiny (and yes I wore slippers as I didn’t know it was going to be communal), the kitchen and common area are also shared space. Not to mention there is lots of clutter outside. Photos they posted are misleading. On our first night the host offered us check out at 11am, we did not ask. The morning of checkout she asked for us to be out by 10:30 with such a rude tone. But, did offer to hold our bags till a certain time. When coming back, on time to collect the bags, she said, oh I could have charged you....excuse me? You offered and out of the all the places we stayed on the island no place charged to hold our luggage. As we carryed our bags out she started complaining that her place was small and we couldn’t stay....umm do you not see us carrying our luggage out? And we have a plane to catch we are not trying to stay and even if given a choice we wouldn’t want to stay. She then told us she had guest arriving in 10 mins.....those guest never showed. It’s is very clear she does not need to be in hostpiality or host anything ever in life. Good luck if you decide to book this place! Only positive is the location is decent but trust me you can find better places in the area.

Loved our stay here Gina and Brian are lovely people who are always willing to help. The bedrooms are nice and spacious with air conditioning. There is a shared kitchen area that is very well equipped and a nice place to chat with other people staying in your apartment area. The views from the balconies are incredible as you look out over the ocean to silhouette island. I’ve seen reviews on here complaining about the wifi but it’s the best we experienced on wifi and on the islands so far, plus it’s islands in the middle of the Indian Ocean it’s a bit much for people to expect the same speeds as Europe or Asia. Overall I highly recommend people to stay here. There is also an adorable dog Millie who will guide you to the beach each morning at the bottom of the hill, providing you are the first to wake up!

Wir wärden die Unterkunft nicht empfehlen! Das Inserat entspricht absolut nicht der Wahrheit. Man hat ein eigenes Zimmer mit Bad, der Rest (Küche, Wohnraum, Balkon) wird mit anderen Touristen geteilt. Ebenfalls ist der angegebene Wäscheservice nicht vorhanden. Zwischen den Lampen im Zimmer hatte es Spinnennetze. Die Küchenausstattung ist für eine geteilte Küche sehr sporadisch ausgestatet. (z.B. nur zwei Weingläser) Man kommt sich sehr verarscht vor.

Wonderful location just minutes walk from beach , restaurants, shops and bars. Kept immaculately. Maria and her team incredibly personable and helpful . Great facilities and airport transfers also available and tours can additionally be arranged. Highly recommended.

What an excellent stay on Mahe! This is a locally-owned guesthouse in Beau Vallon area that offers a comfortable stay at a fraction of the price of the resorts below it (they basically fund the foreign and rich owners and not the locals). The room had AC, a spacious bathroom, and a well-equipped shared kitchen. We also had a terrace with an ocean view. People whine about wifi speed but guess what? You are on an island in the middle of the ocean?! What the heck did you expect?! But, Oceanic View had the fastest wifi of anywhere I went on Beau Vallon (including some resorts) even if it wasn’t the speediest. Be sure to say hello to Millie- the pup! :)

I love the food from the nearby restaurants😍 . Really nice. Twins bedroom quite comfortable and affordable. Definitely will recommend and will be there again soon.

Good a cheap little hotel in the north of Mahe. There is a car rental outside for direct bookings for the guests here. The rooms are compact but very comfy.

Budget hotel with a high rating by most people who have stayed here. The hotel is very comfortable with highway access nearby. Grocery stores and restaurants are also nearby.

We stayed for a family holiday. The apartment with sea view is very economical for families of 4-6. The beach is nearby and the terrace is very large.

We stayed earlier this year. Bryan & Gina are the greatest hosts! The rooms are comfy and the beach is nearby (with the best sunsets :) )
