Very, very bad experience, BE CAREFUL! First of all, be careful, because this place has changed its name on booking.com, because they had so many bad reviews under “Villa Vanilla” name. Not they changed the name for “Waterfall accommodation”, watch out. Staff and manager (lady) is very rude and not welcoming to customers. We had some Wi-Fi issues, dirty towels, it has ended up with her screaming into our faces like crazy (!). I really don’t know how is it possible that owner has hired such a person to manage the property. When we asked to speak to the owner, she laughed in our faces and said: “You can call him, good luck, he is somewhere in the world”. When we were checking out, we asked for an invoice/receipt, manager was not there, another lady called her and started to talk rude things about us in French, not knowing that we speak French as well. At the end of the day, we left without any confirmation of payment. Pool is beautiful, but only in photos. In reality it was muddy and greenish, with some weird pipes and cables in it. I was not brave enough to use it. There is not staff 24/7, so if you need something, there is no one to help you in the afternoon or in the evening. Very, very steep road leading to the place, so don’t even try to go there by feet. Rooms are simple, nothing special, not clean. It’s a pity, because the view from balcony is really nice and this place would have great potential, if they changed rude manager and staff. Don’t go there and don’t be fooled with beautiful pictures.

This place is now called Waterfall accommodation!!! changed their name because of bad bad reviews!!! Very bad, I was not satisfied at all!!Only beautiful pictures on the Internet only to capture people to come to this place..This place is a joke nothing provided (bottle of water, soap, sanitary towels etc)..It’s like you pay only to get shelter and only breakfast..no tv no kitchen, everything is a mess..The bed is not comfortable at all

Dissapointed. We booked this place for the weekend. When we arrived we walked around for 20 minutes in the pouring rain looking for help. We were then shown a room that was wet due to the rain, hot and damp inside and had no blankets. The kind man who helped us told us they were wet. We said we would rather not take it and find else where. He said we wouldn't be charged. We were then given the phone to whom a rude lady spoke to us. She refused to understand our dissapointment and said that blankets come at an additional charge and if the rooms hot we would use aircon. Even though the man said we would not be charged. We were still charged. We booked through agoda and still cannot get hold of them. Shocking service and a rude host to say the least.

2 starts for the view only, really. Visited 3 years ago, but the bad memory still lasts. The owner makes you fell not welcome at all. At the moment we entered the villa, she was pushing us to pay before handing over the key (of course no cards were allowed, only cash), so she made us go back and forth to the village a couple of times to get the money from different ATMs (as there were some limits set). It is not something what you want when you go to the hotel after an 15 hours journey.... At the very end, unfortunately just when we left, I noticed that 50 EUR was missing from my wallet which I stored in the safe box (!!!) so I sent an email to the owner. I was shocked as I travel extensively also in less affluent parts of the world and nothing like this ever happened to me!! Of course she didn't even bother to reply, not even "sorry", nothing. Later I read some reviews and I noticed there were also other people who faced the same isssue.... Don't get fooled by view and nice pictures. The rooms in fact are pretty basic and need renovation. The road to the villa was a mess a few years ago, you had to drive really carefully not to destroy your car. Not worth the couple hundreds of EUR per night, definitely. Important info for some - there is a big telecommunication antena just next to your rooms and the pool!!!

Rooms are big, bathroom big with each room having balcony. Villa provides a very nice relaxation area where breakfast is served in the mornings. The pool was a added bonus and perfect after a long day. Breakfast consisted of eggs( in various forms), fruits, sausage toast, coffe/tea/juice. Staff very friendly and rooms cleaned daily. Location is on side of island that had best beaches accourding to us. Hike route and tea plantation is a short drive from villa. Excellent views from villa and the surrouding forest is beautiful. It is located up a step path so a car would be a good idea.

We were actually sceptical after reading all the negative comments about this property. To be honest, it’s not perfect but it’s not bad either. Pros - absolutely breathtaking view from your room. Big room, decent sized washroom and huge balcony as well. WiFi is available but slow Cons - you get nothing as complimentary. Not even a bottle of water. No bar soaps, body wash nothing. Bed was not that comfortable but yea it was manageable. Service from staff is not that great. But they were not rude at all as you read in the other comments. Keep in mind you don’t pay hefty amount of money for the room, so expect the service for what you pay for. Also make sure you have rent a car to reach this property, without it, it’s impossible for you transport yourself from the hotel to other places.

I read the comments and am surprised that people can't enjoy the little things. It's true that it's not perfect, but if someone wants a hotel then please look for one with stars and not a Bed & Breakfast. On the other hand, if someone wants to experience nature and commune with this beautiful view, there is probably no better place on the whole island. The views are breathtaking! You can get mesmerized and sit like that for hours. It is true that the wifi does not work in the room, breakfast is what it is and the beds by the pool are uncomfortable. There is a pool, views and peace and quiet. The staff was nice to us because we were nice, and the fact that without a car I would not even try to get here. P.S take a shower gel and appreciate how lucky you are to be here.

The location and layout are absolutely fantastic, with a mountain view on 2 sides from the breakfast area. Also the rooms are right next to the jungle vegetation and have a great view. Personnel was very friendly and helpful. On the downside it gave the impression that the place is not maintained good enough. Small damages not repaired (broken hinge, tap loose, pool a bit dirty). This could be caused by to few customers during corona, but still a pity to see. Still I would absolutely recommend the place! One thing is that because it's on a steep hill and there are not many places to eat nearby, it's best if you have a rental car.

4.5 Stars! We were really happy with this accommodation!! It was truly a gorgeous Mountain retreat! The Place looks just awesome and the staff is really nice! It’s quite far up so I advice to rent a car! The owner can organise you a car renter! After our arrival she(the owner) also drove us to a restaurant because we had no car at this point. She even drove us around and showed us the area! Really nice! 4.5 stars and not 5 just because of the breakfast! The bread was sometimes hard, the coffee not soo good but also not bad! However the fruits were really nice! There is also a waterfall very close to the hotel, which you can reach by foot! Also really really nice! If you love nature and a nice view —> stay there We can really recommend it ☺️

Amazing hotel and in an amazing location , the view from the rooms is breathtaking. The staff were friendly also. The only one thing that i didnt like was that the kitchen was bit dirty not cleaned well. And also the water keeps on cutting while ur washing ur hand or showering.

Great experience! The "Villa" is high located, indeed better to get a rental car to reach it or walk and sweat ( but that's the price to get such a nice view). The swimming pool area ( with an outdoor shower) and garden are nice, clean and relaxing. Possible to park at anytime under the porch or down the building at anytime. Maybe the vegetation around the building would deserve a bit of a trim to keep the sea view. The building itself is in good condition and beautiful. Maybe refreshing the furniture and a bit more maintenance of the wooden structure of the entire building will make the place perfect. Our room was lovely, well prepared and spacious. Our large balcony allowed us to face the "mountains" and jungle which was as interesting as facing the sea. Again If i want to be picky I'll advised to make sure all the lights are working or fixed on a regular basis. The service was impeccable. The people there were nice, welcoming, helpful and even did some extras out of kindness ( like sewing job in my case😊). The room was consciously cleaned every day. The breakfast was good and decent ( a full plate of different fruits, a few toast with butter and marnelade, eggs/omelet, sausage and sometimes pancakes or porridge. Plus choice in between tea or coffee). I recommend.
