Seriously great Korean food. It’s a small “nook” of a restaurant. There is usually a wait on the weekends, but absolutely worth it. The prices are just a bit higher than some of the other Korean restaurants and there is a 10 percent surcharge on Weekends and Holidays, but well worth it. The service is also excellent!

Fabulous portions, very tasty and authentic Korean cuisine. They have set lunch for $16 and set dinner for $19.5 which covers choices of different Bulgogi (spicy and non-spicy option available) and many other choices. It comes with salad and mash potato. The portion is larger than most other Korean places so it is excellent value for money. Their Korean Fried Chicken is priced at $27 and it is very delicious and tender. Although not mentioned on menu, they use mostly thigh and drumstick parts which are tender. There is almost always a long line outside, despite the place being located on a laneway. For dinner, it is best to arrive by 4.30pm or 5pm to avoid the queue. If arriving at 7pm, the queue can be very long.

I visited on a busy Saturday, but the staff were friendly and made my stay comfortable. We were able to eat delicious food at a reasonable price. I ordered the sweet chili fried chicken plate. The volume is good and the taste is good. The food was served piping hot and I was very satisfied. I would definitely like to go again because I want to try other dishes.

Used to go to By Korea when they were on Victoria St. Richmond many moons ago, as an AYCE restaurant. But was suggested by a friend to try this one. A lil wait only cause it’s school holidays. But totally worth it. The food came out in a timely manner. Well presented and generous sizes. Great for sharing with 4 of my friends. Everyone liked everything, no crumbs were left. Personally I wasn’t a fan of the fried dumplings, just lacked flavour, but everything else made up in that department. And their $18 lunch special (not that we ordered) looked like a great deal! Will definitely come back!

I have been there for a couple of times. Ordered a dolsot bibimbap. It was very hot and delicious. There were three side dishes such as kimchi etc coming together. Quite busy and popular. All mixed up with extra spicy sauce if you like very spicy. Although it wasn’t very spicy.

By far the best Korean food I have had! I go there regularly and have tried most of their menu, never disappoints. Love the food and service 🤩

THE BEST AUTHENTIC KOREAN FOOD!! We were very lucky to have arrived right when a table was available because this place gets super duper busy. It is quite crammed. The prices are very reasonable for the portion and quality of food. We did not realise that the dishes we ordered came with a rice bowl each so it was a lot for just 2 people haha. Spicy pork belly was all pork (unlike some Korean restaurants where they fill it with veggies and barely any pork belly) and the mustard chicken was yum! Bean stew soup was quite oily and less rich but still warmed our hungry bellies on a cold night! Oh, and the side dishes are DELICIOUS.

By Korea has been one of the best Korean food restaurants I've been to so far! The food is really delicious and tasty! The atmosphere is cosy and a perfect setting for a meal whether a group or alone. Perfect dish proportion to leave you wanting to try more! Would definitely recommend and visit again!
