Beautiful clean blue waters. Water is always calm here, saw a starfish, sting ray, lots of fish and crabs. Great spot for the kids to pick seashells too!

Great spot for a fish or a walk. Lots of spots nearby to buy food from. Plenty of car parks. Water is usually really calm. Lots of rays so I wouldn't go swimming in it. Playground is close so the kids can run riot. Good spot to spend an afternoon with the family.

Great spot for a gentle walk and relax. Dogs on leads allowed and plenty of bins everywhere for the full doggy bags to go in! Good hot jam donuts and icecream in food vans

Excellent pier. Not too crowded (Visited on a weekday) some people were fishing and others just walking and spending time. Lots of parking and clean toilets. Pier goes like zigzag into thr Beach and quire a walk plus unsealed walkways so wear good shoes. Clear water with vegetation. Love to visit again

Nice place to come and visit, recently finished an upgrade (according to a sign nearby). Good views. Some seats available to admire the view. Interesting to watch the ferry leaving from there.

A walk on the Pier is a must when visiting Portarlington. The water is clear and you often pick out little fish or starfish. Sometimes you may see our resident stingray "Stumpy". He doesn't have a tail and has been coming here for years

The temp for the day was 31-32 degrees. At 10am the water lovely so get there early and you’ll have a fab time. Bring your sunshade, family & best friend(dog).

Nice location however public toilets are dirty. No tissue, boxes are broken and seems lack of maintenance.. Public are also nonsense and selfish, they don't flush and throw empty bottles and cans here and there...

Pitty the liability of some cause local's and coming summer visitors 1/2 the pier. Wonder how many will cramp up.. hmm. The cost of the gate would be better used fixing the lovely public area. Enjoy Port Anyhow.. it's great!

What a beautiful location.. you can right across the bay. Don't miss the great bakery right across the road from the pier.. one of the best I have ever been to.

We enjoyed walking along this pier after a lovely day at the beach nearby. As sunset was approaching it was lovely to see people enjoying the pier. There were families fishing, trying to make a catch from the area near the man made reefs off the pier and others strolling in the lovely evening air. It is a nice space for walking or fishing on the Bay.

Nice quiet spot at the moment. But I expect this place is packed in summer! Looks like plans in place for upgrades and local improvements.

Fabulous place to visit. The pier is attractive and well maintained and I loved how I could walk along the sea wall.

A nice pier which is generally not very crowded and mostly local fisherman. There's plenty of nearby parking and toilet facilities. There's nearby freshly cooked mussels and oysters and you can get a ferry from here too. Pleasant views of the coastline from the end of the pier.

Big improvement with their upgrade. Nice and wide. Very long for people to take a stroll or fish off the rocks. I just wish humans would have more consideration & take their rubbish with them! My 86 year old father is constantly cleaning up the mess of others 😡 What was a gravel path at the new end, has now been sealed with asphalt.
