Lovely location. Really nice to dine outdoors overlooking the water. That said, this is some of the worst sushi on the planet. Itsu is better. The rice is overcooked, mushy and flavorless. The fryer is under temperature and everything fried is soggy with grease. The fish sinewy in a way I didn’t think possible. Highly disappointing given the cost and location. I mean the place has access to some of the freshest fish in the world. The least they could do is hire a few chefs who know what they are doing. An embarrassment.

Some of the best sushi we've had for a very long time. We noted the previous reviews, occasionally not stellar, but it seems that the resort has read them too, as everything about this meal was first class. The sake was excellent (doesn't need heated in 30 degrees) while the sashimi was tasty. There are many options and all we tried, including the restaurant eponymous dish, were great. We'd recommend this restaurant to those residing in the Story Resort.
