Moving from one place to another is such a hard task as the escalators are located opposite and away from one another. Totally got the plan that they want us to walk through all the shops but still 🙌 one good thing is that they have placed multiple directory screens which makes it easy to find stores! Pretty amazing mall with each and everything available. They have a bus loop as well which connects almost all the routes, so, easily accessible as well. Worth a visit 💯

It’s like an undercover city. The best retail shops, fabulous food, “streets” in all directions, cinemas and even a hotel! Plenty for everyone, and nothing truly lacking. Easy to spend a whole day here, and spend up big! If you’re not into crowds, avoid the weekends (get in early and be out by lunchtime).

Went to Chadstone to get some shopping done. First thing you notice is the amazing design on the roof. I mean it’s just amazing 🤩. It has all the shops in the world and it feels like it never ends. It has shops for all ages, and I mean all. Even the food court is giant and is multi cuisine. It really has everything. They even have amazing decorations for Christmas. With a giant Christmas tree and amazing things surrounding it. And you can even get a photo with Santa. All over amazing place. It is a must. 👍😊👌

Huge huge mall. I couldn’t shop finish. Maybe give yourself a day here. Parking is free but I took a bus from Oakleigh station here. Very convenient. Lots of my favourite designer brands. Love the glass roof architecture.

Amazing place with amazing food and so many things to do. I have been going to chadstone for many years and allows me to find so many of my important things in one place. It also has very iconic and rare places that you can’t find anywhere else in Melbourne. Also had great small time stores opening all the time with new and exciting things.

I'm not into shopping, but this place is pretty special. There are so many brands. Both big and small from the high end of fashion to the food hall. It is a cool and hugely relaxing place. A visit just to see the building and some of the artwork. The owner of the shopping centre also owns Pt Leo sculpture gardens down the Mornington peninsula, so the artwork is world-class.

One of the must see places in Melbourne. It is crowded, but a must visit place. There’s free parking. The mall pretty much has everything you need.

My son and I decided to go to Chaddie, the fashion shopping centre. It's very big and you can get lost very easily. Was an enjoyable experience and yes, I would go back.

Chadstone Shopping Centre is an absolute gem of a shopping destination in Melbourne, and one of the most remarkable shopping centres in the world. It is the largest shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere, spanning over 200,000 square metres and boasting over 550 stores that cater to every shopper's needs. With such a vast array of options, there is something for everyone at Chadstone, from high-end luxury brands to mid-range fashion and bargain hunting. One of the most impressive things about Chadstone is the quality of the shopping experience. The layout of the centre is designed with ease of navigation in mind, with clear signposting and well-placed directories to help shoppers find their way around the complex. The decor is sleek and modern, creating an atmosphere that makes you feel like you're in a high-end shopping district. The lighting is perfect, showcasing the products on offer without being too overpowering. The food court at Chadstone is one of the standout features of the shopping centre. With a wide range of cuisine options available, there's something to suit every taste bud, from traditional Australian fare to international delights. The seating areas are ample and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing place to take a break from shopping. Customer service at Chadstone is exceptional, with the staff being friendly and knowledgeable. They go out of their way to assist shoppers with any queries they may have, making the shopping experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible. The shopping centre also offers a range of amenities, such as baby change rooms, free Wi-Fi, and ATMs. Overall, Chadstone Shopping Centre is a must-visit for anyone who loves to shop. It offers an exceptional retail experience, with a vast range of stores, a fantastic food court, and outstanding customer service. Whether you're a local or a visitor to Melbourne, Chadstone is a destination that should be at the top of your list.

Hey Chadstone! Why is your very lucrative food court not serving meals in plates or trays anymore?? I don’t want 7 bags for my food. So much waste. One bowl and one one tray are sufficient. Not 7 bags and I didn’t see a recycling bin to put my 7 bags in. Pick your socks up Chadstone food court. Bring back the ceramic bowls and reusable trays for my ‘eat in’ soup. Please don’t give me a covid excuse. It doesn’t work anymore. It seems to be a cost cutting exercise.

It's an excellent place for shopping. Shops catering to everyone, from bargain stores to high end stores, you'll find anything you need here. Feels spacious, and clean with plenty of seating area to rest and a massive food court with all types of cuisine available. There's proper restaurants within too if you wish for a less casual dine in experience. Also houses other entertainment experiences like movies, mini golf, Legoland, arcade and bowling. Be prepared to walk though, some stores can be quite far. Free parking is a bonus so you can take your time exploring!

Upon careful consideration of my shopping experience, I must express both commendations and reservations. The ambiance of the establishment exuded an air of sophistication, contributing positively to the overall shopping milieu. The shopping experience was notably positive, with the establishment exuding a bustling ambiance. The presence of abundant advertisements added to the overall vibrancy, creating an environment where the sheer volume of offerings contributed to a sense of variety. Despite the busyness of the surroundings, the experience was gratifying, and the lively atmosphere added a distinctive energy to the overall shopping milieu.

Only been here once before. The high end fashion was nice to put my face near the windows. But so many of those shops were empty of customers. The cine to the 'affordable' shops and it was busy. But every shop we went into the people serving you were so very nice. The only problem I had was the floors although shiny looked dirty old and tired. Definitely not enough seats around for tired shoppers to sit regroup and get more energy to keep shopping. Apart from that the roof was spectacular, in both the old and new parts. Still had an amazing time looking at shops we don't have in my town.

In terms of shopping centres in Melbourne this is one of the best. Every shop you can dream of. Restaurants, lots of car parking and entertainment. Warning you can get lost here and lose your savings if you are not careful! I almost bought a Tesla while my Apple laptop was being fixed… I do prefer strip shopping but unfortunately those days are behind us.

Luckily, we live close enough to Chaddie that we don't have to deal with parking. That is the biggest drawback of this massive shopping centre. With the current building works, renovations, and expansion, the parking is worse than ever. Once you get inside, though, there is just about everything you can want in a shopping centre. Some excellent eateries. We love Maguro, Gyoza Gyoza, and Callia. For groceries, there is a Coles, Woolworths, and an Aldi. Of the stores T2, Gewurzhaus, UNIQLO, and the Lego Store are places we visit regularly. The Hoyts cinema is also great.

This is my go-to place for shopping in Melbourne. Melbourne CBD is not close to here, but there are buses to get there. But I would suggest you to drive there, because you will never come back empty-handed. One of the things that sets Chadstone apart is its impressive size and scale. With over 500 stores and services, this shopping centre truly has something for everyone. Whether you're looking for clothing, accessories, beauty products, electronics, or home goods, you're sure to find it here.

Beautiful shopping mall, world-class, and it's just as well since it's the biggest shopping mall in the southern hemisphere. Amazing architecture and design top of the range brands make this place their home in Melbourne. Food courts and quiet seating areas make their debut on every floor. Brand new additions include 'The Social Quarter', which is literally like a relaxing haven one floor above the shopping floors. About as awesome as the shopping experience will ever get so what are you waiting for?

Largest shopping mall in Australia. There is a free shuttle bus for tourists and boarding at Melbourne CBD federation Square and reach Chadstone within 25 minutes (17km). Pre booking online is required. We prebooked one day before and took the 12:30pm bus. This shopping mall is huge, about the size of malaysia midvalley plus gardens. Many big brands here. But price wad not attractive and lack of designs. There is a tourist privileged booklet (they called it passport) given to everyone alight from the free shuttle bus to let tourists enjoy a discount. But the discounted shops were handful and many big brands were not offering attractive discounts in the booklet. It also has a cinema at AUD22.50 per ticket. The movie screening was almost the same as Malaysian. It even showed Chinese and akao tamil movies. Legoland was one of the highlights for kids. Lots of choices at the food centre. If you want the cheapest relatively (compared to other stalls or restaurants in chadstone shopping mall), dumpling plus was one of the most popular. The food was poor and tasteless. When time of arrival, there was a special bubble show. Quite interesting and become crowd pullers We took the 4pm bus back to CBD. 3 hours was enough for us (including shopping and lunch)

Chadstone Mall boasts an array of prominent big-name brands, and you can explore the available shops on their website: Chadstone Shopping. Personally, our visit was centered around Target and BWS. Both of these supermarkets offer a wide range of products, including clothing for infants to adults, bags, accessories, and more. The price points are reasonable, and the quality is commendable. The mall, in general, is enormous. Plan to spend at least two hours there for a leisurely session of window shopping and a quick lunch. This should give you a glimpse of the mall's sheer size. Keep in mind that parking is somewhat limited. The open-space turnaround for cars is faster than the multi-story options, but it comes at the expense of being farther away from the mall."

Frequently see lazy COVIDSafe guards does nothing but group together without mask and chat for at least my entire duration of 30min lunch in food court area. What’s the point of having guards that is not doing their job, no mask and breaching social distancing themselves? Is there no one accountable for these critical role in the covid environment?

A large shopping centre which has been redeveloped multiple times in recent living memory, you can find anything you need here and tend to go around in circles. I only put four stars because I am biased towards more gritty, weather-beaten places that have nostalgic or retro ambience, those venues may even lack maintenance but somehow get away with it and their lack of maintenance adds to their very original charm. At Chaddie, you will find shiny, pristine high-end markets selling luxury big-ticket items and polished floors with boutique upon boutique. Haven't been to the movies here for years but must return when lockdown is up for good. Photos on my review were taken 1 January 2017.

It’s a great place to pass time especially during rainy and cold days. It’s hard to cover the entire mall in a day though, as it is quite huge. There are a lot of parking spots for cars and the number of free spots displayed outside is extremely useful. Christmas time decorations are usually pretty good. The dining options are great as well. I’ll definitely visit again. Thanks.

A++ Free parking, car wash and secure environment, family friendly. Something for everyone, with high end and low key brands. There are cinemas, eastern and western dining, cafes, supermarkets and department stores and plenty of toilets! This is a world class shopping centre that you could easily place in Las Vegas, Paris or Dubai, or Honolulu. This is not just the fashion capital, it's a mini-city.

For the parking situation trying to get out on a Friday night. The lines go all the way to myer and kmart entrances as the traffic controllers , have no visual of what's actual happening in the underground car park. One attendant is up at the traffic lights. Which as driver, we know how to use. The other poor person is situated as you enter. But has no view of the underground car park. Instead there are lines and more cars in every direction. Even with the refurbishment you are currently undergoing, you need to do better. Not good enough.

We took Chadstone free shuttle bus from the city and back. Got a very rude attitude from Nick, the bus driver. We waited for the bus at the Visitors Lounge. Maria, who attended the lounge was lovely and accommodative. She informed us that she would let a passengers with a wheelchair to board the bus first, and we would go right after them because we are travelling with kids. So we waited inside the lounge. Once Maria told us to board the bus, I approached the bus and Nick shook his head and yelled at me, "I TOLD YOU TO WAIT INSIDE" to which I responded "The lady from inside the lounge told us to board the bus" and he replied "NO SHE DID NOT. I TOLD HER NOT TO. So she should not tell you that," suggesting that I lied and made up the stories. What's worse was that he yelled in front of my young children too. Why would I even made up stories for something very simple, such as boarding the bus? I left further details on my complaint form. You should hire people who are more capable of handling their emotion and not steaming it off to visitors who just want to have an enjoyable time.

This shopping center had it all. We visited around Black Friday weekend, and it was just packed. The shopping center had all the major department stores, providing a great experience with a touch of the holidays inside Chadstone. The facilities were very clean, just a bit far from the city center. There are buses available for a short ride away from the metro.

This is a shopping centre of note for the variety of shops, the big name trendy brands, the good quality food choices, the cinema and a bowling alley! I chose public transport to visit 'Chaddy' on a hot Sunday in February and this saved much stress as the parking is a problem at popular times. (The reason I won't give it 5) It is an awesome experience to simply wander up and down checking out what's on offer. There are the usual suspects like Target, Myer, David Jones and JB HiFi. If you really like Chadstone you can stay at the adjacent hotel. All in all something special

Service desk person is quite helpful in providing advice for a Sydney sider such as myself. Plenty of unlimited parking, but partly because I went in before peak hour. I like the light sifting through the curved glass roof, producing a sense of vastness in space. At the same time there’s enough activities to not feel empty. Always something to catch the eyes. Great place to visit if you have a car and time.

Many shops refused to accept cash. We travelled specifically to go to Legoland for my son and July to purchase luggage for my trip. We left without any Lego, as my son had birthday money they would not allow him to spend. Thankfully Strand Bags was more than happy to take my money, and we got some beautiful well priced suitcases.

Awesome shopping centre with everything you need, and now that they have opened their new arcade section with mini golf, bowling etc.. It really has it all! It's a very modern and clean environment every time I go. The food can be a bit pricy but they have food courts with the usual fast food stores so there are cheaper alternatives on site to the restaurants if needed. Parking can be difficult but that's to be expected and it's usually not too long if you don't mind walking a bit. They do have shorter timed parking spots really close as well if you are only going to be under an hour to

The biggest shopping centre in Melbourne 💸❤️🛒 You can find almost everything here. Beautiful at night time. Great place for a walking in the weekend. There is also a free shuttle bus from Melbourne CBD direct to the shopping. You can check the bus timetable and book your seat via the Chadstone website.

Chadstone is a fantastic place to visit. It seems that there is just an endless amount of stores and attractions within this shopping centre. Chadstone has great nooks and crannies with fantastic restaurants and bars, as well as spectacular cinemas and a huge LEGO store opposite to that. The mall has multiple food courts and a great atmosphere. This place can get you lost if you don’t know your way around it. Chadstone often gets overcrowded because it is such a large attraction in the area so make sure to be there earlier than usual if you want to find more parking options. A good alternative to driving here is taking the bus. This shopping centres has a major bus terminus, and it is just a 5-15 minute walk from Hughesdale station on the Cranbourne/Pakenham line. Overall, Chadstone is a wonderful place to hang out with friends for late nights and whole day shopping sprees at luxury stores.

Would shop here more often and buy more of the things I need, then except that I can't. I can't buy the things I need, because the government has persecuted me as a disabled pensioner by making only disabled pensioners, Aged pensioners and their carers the only ones ineligible for the corona virus supplement. This means that these groups now receive less than unemployed people. A complete disgrace and blatant persecution for which they should be in jail.

It's early January, there's a COVID outbreak, including a case at Chadstone, and it is no wonder. In the 200 or so metre walk in the shopping centre from the entrance to the Apple store, I saw ten (10!) people not wearing masks. And that's not counting the ones half wearing masks. On the walk back, I saw eight (8) people not wearing masks. One of them walked straight past they COVID Crew guy on the entry door. That's a pathetic effort to keep customers safe. I'm gobsmacked.

Chadstone “The water leak capital” is way overrated. For a long time now, the supposed high end fashion capital is a block of Swiss cheese with all the water leaks throughout the centre, especially near the escalators heading up from ground toward Yakazuna restaurant. Surely a centre that gauges tenants high rent could afford to rectify leaks and unsightly water damaged plaster directly dripping onto customers heading up the escalator. Furthermore, can Chadstone please turn on the AC? I mean, every time we head over there, the centre is extremely warm, making shopping unbearable. Stop being tight arses and make shopping the experience you so proudly claim it to be. At the moment, it is not. The local Centro shopping centre in Oakleigh is far cleaner and cooler than Chaddy.

I first had Pepper Lunch in Japan and immediately fell in love. Such a simple concept and delicious flavorful food. It's like Japanese soul food! Every bite is fresh and hot all the way through the meal. I love being able to season it the way I want and the sauces are so yum! I always recommend starting with the Beef Pepper classic! Try it with the added cheese, bacon bits, onions, and garlic chips!!! Mmmmmm...the food comes in a sizzling hot skillet and always hits the spot. So happy that it's here in Chadstone!

A must see for any tourist in Melbourne. Something about being the largest shopping center in the Southern Hemisphere. But also a good choice to go here if you love socioeconomic segregation as you traverse from the poor end of Chaddy- near the main parking lot- to the expensive end where Gucci security guards question whether you have an appointment. Always crowded, always noisy, many smelly people- but genuinely worth a visit for the shopping and the food court.

  • 5/5 Adhi D. 2 years ago on Google
First time eating Pepper Lunch. Saw this Sizzling Jumbo Beef Pepper Rice at first sight and fell in love with it. All that sizzling looked spectacular and after mixing, the flavors were still amazing. The surprise was the fries. The outside was noticeably crunchy while the inside was still very soft. Just the right amount of seasoning too. Kudos to the cook who fried them to perfection. There were a lot of items that I would like to try too, but with sizzling jumbo beef pepper rice on the menu, I don't think I'd want to order something else. My friend liked this place so much that he came to the establishment 3 days in a row. That's dedication. My experience here may have been biased or an exception, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Can't wait to visit again!

  • 5/5 John M. R. 1 year ago on Google
This is now a full service full function shopping and entertainment district. Sometimes it reminds me of and international airport at other times like Westfield Doncaster. The layout is now much better zoned in style, shops and entertainment facilities. It’s easy to get lost and we were saved twice by the small information counters. We used a map provided by the lady there to create a discovery game with our six year old granddaughter that worked perfectly. Just to find Piccolino’s gelateria. It was worth it, since in the new Social district they have TGI’s, a bowling alley and ‘Circus’ that’s an entertainment and games complex. Wow that was just too loud and cramped. Ride on the dodgem cars? No need walking around was already a dodgem experience 😉 There’s restaurants in doors and outside, food courts, covering snacks and sushi to fine dining and cafés. Parking can be a challenge and takes a little patience. The lifts aren’t upgraded, so breakdowns do happen. But more walkways from the multistory car park to the Centre are appreciated. The new design, expansion, connections to the Hotel give this place a very modern feel that is missing in Melbourne City these days. I wonder could this be the shopping capital of Australia? Photos show just a small slice of this monster shopping and entertainment destination.

I haven't been to Chadstone for a very long time and I loved it! Spent over 4 hours there walking around entire place (I think), browsing, shopping, drinking, lots of coffee, and having something to eat. We walked in, from carpark, at luxury end and though my heart said yes, my brain said no! So sorry Tiffany, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Bulgari not today but if I could I'd be buying Ralph Lauren and Burberry and....and...you know what I mean. As it was I brought pants from Sussan and loafers from Wittner. Came as wanted to visit Samsung, who unfortunately couldn't help me. Wandered around for ages trying to find Coles (wanted newspapers) and information guide kept saying - you are here and Coles is there, yet like some sort of existential nightmare, it was always out of our reach, then discovered it had closed and we had wandered past the hoardings covering the empty space, multiple times. Anyway we had coffees from Industry Beans, Little Sparrow and Laurent. While food - husband had fried rice while I had nachos from Mad Mex. Anyway had great time and certainly makes my regular shopping centre - Southland look dowdy, particularly the bathrooms, like I was inside a 5 star hotel!

Chadstone stands out as the premier shopping centre in Melbourne, thanks to its unparalleled range of shopping options. Recent renovations have further enhanced the quality of this location, making it a top-notch destination for shoppers. However, the food court often becomes too crowded, leading to a sense of chaos which could be better managed for an improved experience. Despite this, Chadstone offers an exceptional shopping experience, arguably the best in Australia.

  • 5/5 Alyssa S. 5 months ago on Google
This is a great shopping centre, apparently the biggest in the southern hemisphere?! Definitely brings shopping to a new level, and open late hours too. There’s floors and floors of every shop you could imagine, the selection is unbeatable. My only complaints would be how easy it is to get lost, but there are plenty of information kiosks around to help, as well as how tricky it is to get here from Melbourne CBD. We got here via train and bus but on the weekend there was trackwork which made it a little difficult. No fault of the actual shopping centre itself though.

Truely spectacular centre and so much room and so clean. Only thing was.... I spent too much money here. Too many exotic stores in the same place was my downfall. Great spot for literally any items of clothing you need from ultra high range to affordable.

Having lived overseas for more than a decade, I was blown away by how much had been added on to Chadstone. The car parks alone take up an incredible amount of real estate, but even so, it took us close to 30 mins to find an empty one. By the time I'd found everything I needed, I had to change levels several times. Before I was finished, I felt like I'd walked miles and was exhausted. Bottom line: if you want a more relaxed shopping experience, I wouldn't recommend Chadstone. However, if the huge crowds don't bother you and you have lots of patience, there are literally hundreds of diverse shops for you to explore.
