Lovely staff, delicious chicken! I’ve been meaning to try this place for quite some time. It did not disappoint. Had a couple beers and a whole fried chicken, to share of course. Cut into pieces, perfect. The hot sauce, on the side, was quite nice too. Only one small issue, not big enough to reduce the rating, the door. Customers kept leaving it open which made the restaurant quite cold. However, when closed, it got stuck and customers couldn’t get in. Might be time to invest in fixing the door.

The taste of chicken with spicy sauce is far better than one in the city. Ask for fried rice cakes they are not on menu but are yummy and delightful. Sac sac drinks are a must.

The spicy chicken wings is delicious. Not too spicy for chilli heads like me and there is a hint of sweetness. The serving crew was also really nice and the place is clean.

Been to a few different Gami locations over the years, but this restaurant has become my new favourite! Tiffany, our server, was the best part of the experience, she was kind and attentive and efficient. Never realised how important service is in a food setting until you experience someone that goes above and beyond to make it great. The food quality was amazing, very on par with other Gami restaurants. My partner and I were interested in the Big Chicken meal and Tiffany explained what we'd be getting and that its the best value for money, and also one of her personal favourites. It didnt disappoint! We were both interested in getting lemon lime bitters and asked her if they did jug sizes, which they dont, but Tiffany was very accommodating and offered to make us up a jug which we appreciated! Very happy with our experience and will definitely visit again when we're craving Gami!

Having visited Gami Chicken at all of their locations over the last few years. This branch has the best seating area and food, ambient lighting and prompt staff. I'd like to see the beer variety improve but the boneless chicken is always the star attraction.

Cheese sticks and fried chicken, heavenly, great service!

Came again and it was disappointing. Only one floor staff who was not even serving customers. We were shown the QR code to self serve with the order, not easy to use and confusing, needed to prepay with no option to paypass or tap. Had the big chicken meal that was meant to be for 4 people, which we only had 3 pieces of chicken and the tasteless rice cake left. Definitely not what it was promoted for 1.2kg chicken. Should be one star but the staff was still lovely, answered my questions when I got confused... .. even though there is no more service.... ******************* Lovely staff and good food. You can't go without having the cheesy corn and their fried chicken!

Gami is the Korean Fried Chicken place to go to. They got several branches throughout the Melbourne and its surroundings. They're all pretty much consistent with the food quality. A must try!

My bf ordered takeaway for some tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and corn cheese. I asked for no noodles in it the rice cakes but they didn't pay attention to my note which is a bit annoying but it's fine. But the spicy rice cakes and everything in the dish were literally dry, there was no sauce at all. Because of this the noodles and rice cakes were hard. The corn cheese also had way too much sugar which made it pretty hard to eat.

To add to Ava’s complaint, my order is apart of Ava’s order. My chicken burger is raw as below is the picture. Terrible food was missing and the chicken is not edible. It is barely cooked. I can’t eat this for my lunch, can only eat chips for my lunch. $23.90 just for chips.

Great service, the waiter made sure to tell us all about the current deals. We got the big chicken between 4 people and 1 corn cheese, it was just the right amount of food and we were so full afterwards!

Amazing each time we come here! Always get the boneless chicken and it’s delicious! The chips are really generous and crispy and the corn cheese was a surprising favourite! Staff are always very friendly and accommodating.

Fast and excellent service. We brought our toddler with us and they were very accommodating. Food was delicious too. Can't go wrong with spicy coated boneless chicken and corn cheese.

Got pickup during lockdown for Fathers Day. Good service, food was nice. Had fried whole friend chicken and large chips. I got the sauces on the side and just wished the spicy sauce was actually spicy. It's quite mild. Service was great and ready when they said it would be. Would definitely order again. Thanks!!

Delicious Korean fried chicken at a reasonable price. I got the original fried chicken with soy garlic on the side and the mozzarella sticks. The fried chicken was very flavourful and tasty. The mozzarella sticks had a great cheese pull to them. Expect to spend around $20 (half) / $40 (full) for the fried chicken and $10 for sides.

Lovely staff there and service was quick. More importantly, fried chicken were juicy and tender inside, and crispy outside. They came really hot ans fresh. Loved it!

Went for dinner with friends and family tonight! Had Katsu, Kimchi fried rice, grilled chicken burger, and Gami Chicken burger. The burgers come with chips and tomato ketchup so that's a bonus for me! The serving portion is good and it's good for the price as well. Katsu chicken tasted good and came with chips, salad with a lovely dressing, and sauce on the side. The only downside was it was too oily because of the deep-fried chicken. Kimchi fried rice comes with salad too and tasted yummy with a hint of sweetness due to the sauce. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere at this place was welcoming and had good vibes. The chicken they serve is halal. They also have a kids' menu. They have a plant-based burger too on the menu. All in all a good experience!

Our 2nd visit here. Instead of ordering just fried chicken, we decided to order the burgers too. To our surprise, both the Deli Burger & Gami Chicken Burger tasted great! However, the fried chicken was a disappointment. The skin was acceptable but the flesh was just blend. Though it came with choices of dipping sauce, but in my opinion, a good fried chicken should be good on its own and not relying on sauces to give it its flavour. Very different taste from the last time we came here. Chips and Japchae were still as good.

Yummy food! Excellent service from the staff there, Aiden, he is super friendly and helpful. It’s a great place to take kids and the rest of the family. Overall a great experience! Highly recommended!

Delicious Korean fried chicken, but our large serve seemed smaller than it should be, box wasn’t full. The portion sizes seemed a lot smaller than the other Gami stores I’ve been to in the past. Order was also not ready when website said it would be.

Poor service unfortunately. I understand they were under the pump due to online orders but more management is required then to manage load of orders. Food took over forty minutes to arrive on our table. The quantity of food also felt less than usual for Gami. My personal choice in general of the Chicken Parmigiana was average. Not much flavour or seasoning. Hoping this was a one off for this place but it seems like ever since Gami started becoming a big franchise the quality has unfortunately dropped.

Placed a phone order for pick up. When we got home the chips weren’t there. They had got our order for the flavour of the sauce wrong as well. Also, 17 pieces of boneless chicken used to be enough to feed us. The pieces were a good size. Now they are the size of nuggets. So it’s like you get 17 nuggets for $42. An absolute rip off! No customer service when we complained. Said we had to drive all the way back to pick up our chips! We won’t be going back, Gami used to be great.
