The beaches are wonderful and many are on a par with those found on Praslin and La Digue, but if you like to mix your beach break with exploration and adventure Mahe is a delight to drive around and find your own corner.

We liked Mahe the most, compare to other islands (Praslin and La Digue (last one we did not liked at all because of the business and not swimmable beaches). On Mahe you almost will not find tourists (just a few closer to resorts), everywhere there are all kind of white sand and turquoise water beaches, mostly with diverse snorkelling. Locals are very friendly and helpful. But what we did not expect/liked overpriced shops with super poor selection of products. Always have Seychellois Rupees with you, it is hard to find ATM or Exchange spot through the island, moreover, a lot of places except VISA only.

Paradise island, all beaches has its own beauty, must see all, don’t stuck on one point not like maldives type holiday. Take a good snorkel set with you. Don’t forget to check pcr test requirements of your airway or your homeland, cheapest pcr test is 105€ per person on Mahe.
