Did 2 dives with Big Blue and they are really good - as well as nice corals and colourful stuff it was great to see a circling ball of Jack's at Lighthouse and nice baracuda shoals at L'ilot. Loads of Eagle rays on the dives too. The rental equipment is clean and modern and the boats are reliable and fast. Thank you to the whole team and Kelly for welcoming everyone with a smile.

My girlfriend did her discover scuba dive on the 9th of October at Big Blue Divers. It went strangely. It was her second discover dive after 7 years so she knew nothing about diving. However the boss and the certified dive master barely talked to her, didn’t put her in confidence, explained her nothing about the place where she was about to dive and didn’t give her a lot of info about breathing and jumping from the boat. Hopefully she read the book they gave her. Then they made her wait on the boat without talking to her until a new guy came out of nowhere. This one was not even yet assistant PADI instructor, he was still learning as we heard him saying to others. He gave her a short basic brief before he jumped in the water and then another girl told my girlfriend to go join him in the water, again without giving a lot of info. The certified dive master was not there during the dive (with other clients). I’m sure you’ll live a far better experience if you choose another diving club among the hundreds possibilities you have in Seychelles. As we’ve seen that the owner answers to all the bad comments by saying this didn’t happen at her place, and she somehow manages to hide some of the bad comments, we join the photo of the WhatsApp reservation and the certificate the Center gave my girlfriend after the dive, with the stamp.

Funny and well-experienced team, good and clear communication, fully flexible with the transfers, amazing diving spots! (And good prices!) Absolutely recommended for Seychelles-diving!

Thanks to Liz, Kelly, Gilli, Wills, Oliver and all the boat boys for showing us a great time, keeping us safe, taking us to amazing dive sites, always smiling, always happy. Just the way it should be. I would look no further than BBD. Hope to see you all again very soon for some more amazing diving.

First good things. Highly responsive staff especially Liz. Great facilities at the center and good equipment. Problems - only one instructor for 3 discover divers. Didn't give any theory. Impatient instructor. Not recommended at all for Discover divers. Licensed dive - didn't have a guide. Left two clients together. Although my buddy was great but I haven't never seen this from a dive centre. Don't spoil your first experience.

Second stage main mouthpiece was broken in the rented regulator, they didn't change before the dive, instead told me to use the reserve, which was barely working. The dive guide even tried to force me to go down underwater with the group although I could not breath. Nearly first time in over 120 dives, I see such neglect for safety.

Have achieved my OW with the help of the team and my instructor was Oliver. He's funny and really gives you motivation to continue and improve your skills. When you see him diving and compare it to others, you'll realize quickly, that this man has an incredible diving skill! Got my OW in just two days diving.

Awesome people - extremely helpful and well organized. Perfect place for experienced divers and new divers. My children took there open water cert. here. The calm and confident instructors made it easy for them to go through the introduction to the under water world - We finished our stay in the Seychelles with a wreck dive - Big thanks to Lizz, Muhamed, Captain Gilly and Oliver for making some fantastic dives with us.

I asked for infos through Google and Liz was very responsive as well 👌🏼 the best

10/10 would recommend. Took the Open water certification course through this center and they were really accommodating of all of our requests. The atmosphere is very relaxed, people friendly, the dives were great and Mohamed is a really good trainer.

We are a couple that dives only once a year or so, and we try to look for diving companies that give us confidence in safety and attention. So glad we found Big blue divers in Seychelles! They have outstanding level of service and quality of equipment. Elizabeth, the manager, was super helpful and super responsive in WhatsApp. Dive master, Sean, was great. They even gave all divers a computer watch!

Hi Liz, Gilly and team We had a very good time with you diving our 54 dives, especially considering the many times you took us to the shark spot. Many thanks to Muhamad, Nicolas and Olivier to be such great dive masters and above water companions! Thank you for taking such good care of our diving equipment. It was always dry the next morning, correctly bagged, and it never smelled. We did appreciate your service a lot. Our thanks also goes to the lady of the boat, Leera, who always was there at the right time with tea and biscuits and who helped us putting on our gear. Thanks to Gilly for skillfully steering the boat safely at all times. We did appreciate a lot the two crew members staying on the boat while we were diving. This made feel us safe under water. So, why 4 and not 5 stars? We believe, you should re-think one aspect on the boat we consider essential for diving security. Please stop providing valet service. Instead, have your clients put together their (rental-)kit. If they need help, help them, but don't do it for them. Please introduce buddy check (BWRAF) / pre-dive check and please make it mandatory before every dive. If necessary, have your dive masters double check BWRAF before the dive. We had a lot of fun with Elizabeth and her team. The dives were always very well organized and the rented equipment in very good state. The dive masters clearly knew the places very well and we’ve always felt very secure even when the sea currents were quite strong. Some dive masters took a bit more time to explain the diving sites and to show hidden critters more than others but this is really the only very minor area where I see room for some improvement. If you are planning a trip to the Seychelles to dive I would strongly recommend considering the Big Blue Divers!

Great diving center with amazing instructors! Mohammed was our guide and he was great! He made the experience smooth. I wanted to go for a second dive but my time in beau vallon was short unfortunately.

Poor service. I took the late afternoon dive with big blue divers. Felt like they wanted to rush the operation so they could leave early. Divemaster changed the dive site last minute, whilst on the boat to a dive site that was more convenient to them (they had a problem with the boat engine and chose a dive site where they could repair it quickly after, rather than go to the original dive site). They might have gotten away with it if the new dive site was good, but it was poor. Manager was also rude. I felt a toxic atmosphere from the staff at the centre. The boat boys were lovely and friendly though.

We did a Discover Scuba Diving course, so we havent had any diving experience and were completly new to this wonderful activity. From the diving center we went to the boat on the back of a truck which was a fun experience. As we were on the boat our instructor Mohammed introduced us to the basics we need to know and explained everything pretty well. In the water he wanted to make sure that we all are alright and were having a great time. Although I was really nervous and anxiuos, Mohammed was really patient with me and helped me to calm down. He really wanted me to have a nice experience and show me his passion, which is clearly being underwater. As I was relaxed enough, it was just awesome to have the ability to breath underneath the water and see all the corals and colourful fish. Fair prices, clear recommendation!

Super nice people, clear and fast communication to organise the exact dive packages we wanted! Liz was very accommodating with all of our issues if we had any, and she helped us solve them very quickly! Although the dive center was just more than 1.5km walk from the center of town, we really enjoyed what they had to offer! Their services are amazing and the dive sites were super cool! Gilly was a fantastic skipper!

It is definitely a good diving center. New MARES-gear, fast divers-boat and good prices. Sometimes the staff is in a big hurry so they forget that we are on a holiday and we want to relax. Also safety is sometimes, depends on your Dive-Master not up-to-date. Still 4 stars for all the friendly staff and well organized trips!
