An absolutely fantastic beach. Easy to reach by car and plenty of parking. Strong waves, please be careful, stay close to the beach. But bathing is great fun. Sand is soft and clean. Cool beach bar with cocktails and sometimes BBQ. Reasonable prices for Seychelles. But closed for a long time over lunch.

Beautiful beach with lots of shade to offer. The road towards beach is well marked. After you park in the little palm forest, it’s just a 1 min walk towards beach. I love how the recycling baskets are located straight at the entrance of the beach and indeed the beach is very clean, water crystal clear. There is a little beach shack, where you can get refreshments as coconut water, cocktails with famous Takamaka rum, beer and grilled coconut and fresh fish. Please, if you will drink your beers, don’t leave the caps on beach - we found few and threw them into the bin baskets. Keep this pristine beach beautiful! Beach has a lot of shade to offer and as it is so big, even if crowded, doesn’t feel so, as people as spread along the beach. Maybe not the best for swimming, as the waves are huge (no coral reef) and will throw you back to the shore. :) But still amazing just for chilling in shallow end and sunbathing. Also, watch out for tiny jellyfishes that get thrown at the shore in the afternoon hours.

One of the most picturesque beaches in Mahe, with stunning views of the ocean and palm trees lining the shore. The beach is popular for surfing, swimming, and sunbathing. Amongst the stretch of beaches along the west and east coast, this beach stands out for a refreshingly unique landscape and beauty, with turquoise blue waters, tall, strong waves and fine sand. A must visit while in Mahe

It is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. 5 minutes to my home. I basically grew up on this beach. It used to be peaceful and serene. But now they are rebuilding a five star hotel again after the closure of Banyan Tree hotel a couple of years ago.

We had a blast in this amazing and beautiful beach in mahe seychelles. We came just in time to see a perfect sunset. Pristine water, white sand, couldn't help myself to fly my drone here. We came here after a whole day trip around the island by our rental car. Amazing experience

(Translated by Google) Petit Anse beach is on the east coast of La Digue, just north of Grand Anse. Since the beach can only be reached on foot, it is much emptier here than on the neighboring beach. A small bar offers cocktails. Swimming is not recommended due to the strong current!

The best beach on Mahe island! It is very big, the ocean bottom is clear and clean, no rocks or corals. Waves 🌊 quite big, it is cool to jump on them or practice basic surfing. There is big parking available just near, which is a plus, and a small nice cocktail and grill bar with good prices and music - a big plus 👍 Careful with leaving personal things unattended and beware of the rip currents 🌊🌊

Our favorite beach on Mahe. Why? Because the beach is not overcrowded and is very quiet and relaxing. Sand is unreal. Just stand in the sand and let your feet wash the sea and you are great.

Nice white sandy beach (also there are no rocks in the water). There are not so many shaded areas so be prepared. The currents can be strong, you have to pay attention. The beach is also a sea turtle nesting area, but there is some hotel construction right at the beach. 5 stars for the beach itself, but 1 star for building a hotel so close to the beach.

I'd say one of the most beautiful beaches on Mahe. There is a large visitors parking and beach bar (opened from 4pm). This beach wasn't snorkeling friendly in June.

Large beach, not suitable for swimming due to strong waves and currents. There isn’t much shadow around, so most people stay at the front row of palms and bushes near the parking. But you have to care care of the turtles, since the area is a designated breeding area. We were lucky to see a baby turtle: a Ranger found it with an injury on her eye and was about to take it to some turtle sanctuary. At The northern part of the beach there’s the banyan tree hotel. In October 2020 it was closed (corona) and it was really spooky wandering around the deserted villas and the empty pools... The beach bar was open though and it also looked thousands times better than the rum shack (the hotel bar): enjoy here some cold Seybrew and coconuts

(Translated by Google) Beautiful beach, few people. It became my favorite beach on Mahé. Nice and calm, light sand, wide beach and turquoise water. No sea grass in the water. Despite trees and palm trees, unfortunately, there are few opportunities to lie in the shade. Occasionally there are somewhat larger waves. This is not a problem for swimmers, but not ideal for (small) children. At dusk you can also watch the sunset wonderfully. The best way to get to the beach is by rental car.

Beautiful beach with clean white sand! The waves and tides are a bit dangerous if you go more than 8 meters in the water. It's not very easy to get to but not one of the toughest either. A great place to relax after a long day exploring La Digue.

Best beach on La Digue for us, white sand, turquoise water and not crowded at all as it takes a small hike to get there. For a dip to cool off just right, but be careful, swimming is not recommended as it can be dangerous with the current pulling you out to sea.

Nice and calm beach, bigger one than most of the beaches on Mahè. We couldn’t go swimming as the water was very rough that day but it felt very relaxing only to observe the water and listen to the waves crashing into the rocks. There was one cocktail bar but it wasn’t open during our stay (no staff).

Wonderful beach! It is very clean, not crouded and with clean water and clean bottom of the sea. There are some rocks where you can make beatiful pictures. But there is a construction of the hotel, so this quiet beach will be spoiled soon.

The best beach in the whole of Mahe Island. Can't define the beauty of this beach in just words. The beach line is so beautiful and picturesque. The very first impression you get as soon as you walk into the beach is a private space for yourself. A good place to snorkel and swim. Best place to get those hot bod beach pics.

Powder-fine white sand, the thickly-vegetated mountain backdrop, the perfect turquoise water, and the imposing granite formations make Anse Intendance a real postcard image. (Translated by Google) Beautiful, natural beach with turquoise water and light sand. The waves here are sometimes very strong, so be careful when swimming. Unfortunately, there is hardly any shade here compared to Anse Source D'argent, since the palm trees and other plants do not protrude over the beach. Here you can see "palm house" from time to time, which are really nice to look at, but are harmful to the palm trees. These are often built by the locals and rented out for a fee. Some tourists do this. However, you should use broken palm leaves and not break them yourself, since a palm only produces around 15 leaves a year and dries them faster if you leave existing leaves. There is a beach bar on the beach. The beach can only be reached on foot by taking the arduous footpath over mountains and rocks from Grand Anse. This leads along the Petite Anse to Anse Cocos. The path is very difficult because it is uneven and the stones are large and very slippery when it rains.

Very intimate - not many people. We were alone at sunset. Worth to see.

Very nice beach, with parking in the forest and beach bar with cocktails made fresh. People play voley on the sand, water is good for swimming

Fantastic beach, one of the best at the Seychelles, but not good for snorkeling.

👍👍 One of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Access to it is on foot not reachable by vehicle. The structure of the rocks and the calm water gives the feeling of the end of the world. #Seychelles #mahe

👍👍 Beautiful photogenic beach. We made awesome video shots of us dancing on the beach. The road is narrow but ok.
