A popular restaurant that gets crowded quickly. It is advisable to reserve a table before going, which we couldn't. Though we got a seat as soon as we reached (being early around 6:45 PM), the table we were seated was odd, with a pillar in between the table which partially obstructs the view of others seated in the same table. Was a very odd design, and all the good tables were reserved. Food was decent with a wide range of menu. Affordable prices and was tasty. Service could have been better, at times rude, and it took long even for the billing to be done after food.

Delicious tuna steak - perfectly made medium rare 🥰 and very good fish curry. Nice stuff. I recommend 👌🏻But we wanted to visit the restaurant on the next day and although in google it is written that the place is opened on Sundays, it turned out that it is not 🥺. We tried to visit the restaurant at 6 pm and 7 pm on Sunday and it was closed, unfortunately 🥺

Visited on a Tuesday night without a booking, by the end of the night it was quite full so I would recommend booking. Dining is very casual, in an outdoor garden. Come to this place early because it takes over an hour for the food to be prepared - service is slow. I didn’t like that most of the tables were built around a column right in the center of the table. If you’re a group of 4 you can’t see the person sitting opposite you! The price is cheaper compared to others in the area. We had a grilled whole parrot fish and the shrimp provencale and both were very tasty. I’d recommend the food!

Cereol and Italian/french dishes. We had Prawn provencale pasta (order off menu) and pork chop and chipa. Foods were yummy. Sadly they didn't use fresh prawn (I think it was frozen shrimp) We had good lunch here. The place is cozy with attentive staffs, their service was very slow so I do not recommend you go in with hungry stomach.

Food wise our favorite restaurant on cote d'or beach / Praslin - but you have to be VERY patient. The outdoor sitting is also a plus and we liked the place a lot. We have been there several times. Only minus ist the waiting time in the evening. We and others waited between one and up to two (!) hours from getting seated until the food arrives. You have to decide if it’s worth the waiting time or not.

The restaurant is situated at good location right on The Esplanade. The service is decent, the prices are really good compared to other restaurants in the area but the menu is not very expansive. We tried octopus curry along with spaghetti Bolognese and both were flavorful. the restaurant is open till 2: 30 p. M. For lunch and 9: 30 p. M. For dinner. One can enjoy good views of the beach from the restaurant.

Food, place, ambience and service were the best. We will dine there again before we move to our next stop which is La Digue

I really loved the place. The staff was nice and the food delicious. Be careful not to drop money on the floor, because in our case a banknote flew in between the wooden planks, and one of the employees had to crawl underneath to get it)))

Best fish curry on Praslin island so far. Tasty, spicy… friendly team also. Recommendation!

Very friendly staff and quick service. Different options, lots of seafood, but also chicken, pork and pasta. All of us enjoyed our food very much. Would definitely go there again.

We just dropped by for some food, no reservation prior. I would recommend one on weekends and if you plan to go around 7 pm as the place does fill up. We ordered some beers, the fish curry and some grilled fish with chips. The food arrived promptly and was delicious. For dessert we had some flamed bananas. Moreover the service was very friendly, attentive and welcoming (not like other restaurants in the vicinity). The bill was fair. We would definitely come again.

The meal was OK, but not more than that. The service was bad. We reserved a table at 8 p.m. Not knowing that this restaurant has a tendency to close at 9 no matter if there are still guests. Food, as I said was … let‘s say ok. Very down to earth easy dishes. Take away plus one should say. Service was friendly when taking the order and bringing the plates. After that absent. No service at all. Not even interested if clients could miss something or would like to have another drink. No presenting of the menu for a desert. Nothing. But at a quarter to 9 every empty chair has been arranged in order to close the restaurant. Windows were closed and staff in waiting position for guests finally terminating their meal. And this happend to guests at three tables! It felt like beeing kicked outside. Eat your junk and GO! Perhaps it is better when you choose to dine at 7 or earlier, but hey… couldn‘t they say that reservations at 8 are not accepted due to opening hours?

After reading the reviews I have to come down on the pro side on all counts. Very friendly staff and fast service. A little more time between the courses would actually have been OK. Starter outstanding (smoked fish salad with an excellent balance of smoky and sour), fish stew solid with big pieces of firm fish (not fish rests stewed together). Food and drinks very reasonable. I came away with a bill of 46€ for starter and good-sized main plus two soda waters. I did tip. One problem: Virtually no vegetarian options on the creole menu, but pasta dishes without meat on the Italian OK. Pasta looks huge, for the really big appetite.
