Food took way too long to arrive! That won't be a problem if the food was worth the wait but it turns out not. The dishes were in disposable foil trays unlike the photos you see online. They must have changed this recently. Food was very average, I can even cook this myself at home with better presentation. Not worth the money.

Amazingly good food with great options and the staff are super friendly. Definitely my go to cafe.

So here is another amazing Brunch spot we recently visited: @st.derby in 📍Pascoe Vale. . And here we tried some of the yummy dishes on their menu: • Fella Fell - homemade Falafel on bed of spinach w/ veggies and yummy dressing. • Hash Benny - special house made hash browns with eggs and bacon w/ hollandaise sauce • Blueberry Ricotta pancakes - blueberry baked pancakes topped with yumminess • smoothies Everything was super delicious and we loved the hospitality the team offered. Thanks @st.derby for an amazing brunch date. We would definitely recommend checking them out.

Came here last week and stopped for brunch. We sat outside as we were not allowed to dine in with a senior dog in a pram. Would not return to dine outside if the weather wasn’t warm though as it’s quite cold. Food was great and presented well. Ordered Chorizo Me, Grilled Chicken Salad and a kids meal of schnitzel and chips. Staff member said they were happy to do a kids meal for my dog, but wouldn’t be able to do it again. Also, was told that we would need to come inside to place our order but staff member said he would take our order if it wasn’t too complicated. Reasonably priced, would return again if dining inside 😊

Visited this place last week and honestly, I couldn’t recommend it more. Phenomenal food, fantastic coffee, great service and very reasonable prices. Will I come back? Without a doubt. Keep up the incredible work. I’ll see you soon!

Food was good, service was good, all around its a good experience. They forgot about my coffee and i had to remind them about it, but the staff are super nice and apologised for it. I recommend the hash-brown, super tasty

BLAT was incredibly fresh & crispy. Hash browns are home-made, fresh and crispy AF! Pro tip, you can get them uncooked takeaway to make at home! Hot chocolate is real chocolate too, no sugary powder. Prices are heaps good for the quality. Only thing better than the food was the owner’s hospitality :D

Couldn’t rate this place higher! So accomodating, very helpful with a child and in catering for dietary requirements. Coffee and food was fantastic! I had the best avocado toast and hash browns EVER - super fresh and quality ingredients. Everyone else I was with also LOVED their meals. You can tell there is love in everything they do! Wish we had found this place sooner!

Love the business here, came on the weekend, love the community vibe. Great menu, with many delicious meals to choose from . Easy to park. Highly recommend

Overall okayish experience in terms of food. The cafe has good rating so maybe will give it another go. We ordered a BLAT and an okay pokay bowl. Found the food to be average and less than our expectations given the reviews and ratings on the cafe. They have lot of other things on the menu so keen on another visit.

Very nice and well set-up cafe/corner store. The coffee is well made (no need for sugar) and the breakie roll on Turkish bread loaf makes an ideal start to the day. A number of sweet and savoury options all made fresh on site. A most stop over!

Freshly made blueberry pancakes are probably the best in the northern suburbs. Lovely customer service with great coffee. Well done guys 🙏

Amazing little Gem in essendon. The warm welcome and great customer service just makes u want to stay/come back to this place right when you enter the door. Came from the west side and drove all the way just to see how a 4.7 rated brunch place is, and honestly they deserve the 5!!!! coffee is amazing! My little one definitely enjoyed his baby chino! Lastly, definitely a place to go find great food well prepared. soooooo goooood! worth the drive!!

Very tasty food, quick and friendly service, great portions. The mascarpone pancakes are delicious and hundge. Everytine I go there the owner show’s that she really take great care about this place and customers satisfaction.

Food was great and was nice to sit outside. Only fault was a missed item from our order, which was surprising because the place was nearly empty and at least 4 staff on duty. I had to go in a chase the item and the chap behind the counter blamed "the old fella". Not a good thing to do when running a business. But that was a minor thing, I'd still go back for sure!

It was Pancake heaven!!! First time to dine at St. Derby’s and the staff are so kind and looks after their costumers really good especially to my daughter! The staff offered coloring activity while waiting for our breakfast so my girl won’t get bored… Would recommend to go again… Can I give 10 STARS for the lady at the counter and the staff service!

St derby’s never disappoints. We have been coming here for a couple of years now and the shnitz deluxe has been our favourite thing to eat! Don’t pass the gluten free brownies they have in the window. They’re amazing!! The customer service is top tier Definitely recommend coming here

Food is perfect, I am a chef and I love coming to this cafe for breakfast mostly every Saturday. Nice place and friendly staff. Best hash browns in Australia.

St.Derby is the local busy cafe in small dining area inside. They always deliver the nice coffee beans by Roasting Warehouse. Perfect long black in 3/4 cup👍 Definitely recommended. 20Mar2021 Staff were very warm and kind to modify the menu for me. It was delicious 😋

Honestly one of the best customer service, best food and great menu options Ive experienced in a long time. Highly highly recommend visiting St.Derby. I’m also a vegan and they didn’t make me pay extra to swap food out, they didn’t make me feel bad for making the changes and they had the best hash browns! The portion sizes are so generous! 11/10 would recommend - thanks legends I’ll be back for sure!

Great staff, Great food, Great coffee. <3 for the cute barista . My favourite part of the weekend is going to St.Derby so that I can inhale all of the sweet smells, specially mocha.

I don't say this often ... I loved, loved, loved this place. Everything was top - the food, the portions, the menu options, the fusion of Lebanese flavours in Melbourne brunch culture, the coffee, the service. A superb combo, I couldn't find a fault. I'm not a local, but I will definitely drive back for this.

Covid has anything but decimated the hospitality industry. But if you would like service and I reiterate service with a smile that reminds you a period of when times were good. This is the place. Thank you to all the staff at St Derby

Honestly, one of the best Cafe experiences I've had in a long time. The owner was kind enough to suggest amazing items on the menu, and they offer halal options! Waitress also kept replacing our water every 30 mins or so, which was super refreshing in the heat. Thanks again! Oh, and coffee was top notch.

Delicious food and sensational coffee, with amazing staff what more could you ask for in your local cafe. St. Derby not only ticks all the boxes but also is a great supporter of the local community. I will be coming back again and again.

A local favorite for my partner and I, these guys are not only so wonderful and friendly but make one of the best coffees in Melbourne! We highly suggest their strong iced long black (perfection!) and their BLAT or ham and cheese croissants are super delicious. We feel so lucky to have them in our local area!

St Derby has been an absolute gem. The owners always serve you with a smile on their face and genuinely care about you and ask you how your day is and really contribute to the community. I couldn’t recommend this cafe more!! 11/10 would recommend every day of the week.
