Super nice experience. I had done a course previously and I was looking for a relaxed school to help me get back in the water. Sophie gave us the right balance of technical (line training) and fun dive that really helped me overcome some of my barriers and motivated me to continue Freediving. She is also a great videographer, so we got super nice footage of our dives.

I did my AIDA 1 course with Sophie and I couldn't have imagined it better. Sophie is a professional who calmly and patiently explained everything I needed to know and made me feel safe. I am also very grateful to her for helping me when I was having trouble with equalisation. What I really liked was that there was no rush during the course which made me able to relax and really enjoy it. I had an amazing time with Freediving Seychelles. Sophie is a fun and experienced instructor who was very patient and supportive throughout the course. I completed the AIDA 2 level course and I was very happy that I was able to free dive to 20m comfortably thanks to Sophie's guidance. We also visited a few coral reefs where we did some recreational freediving and it was very beautiful. One highlight of this experience was that we also saw a whale shark which was truly breathtaking and brought a wonderful end to our day. I would highly recommend Freediving Seychelles if you are planning on freediving in this beautiful location.

The AIDA course was done in a serious but also relaxed way. Sophie really teaches the course well and conveys her fascination and excitement in the course. We appreciated the focus on safety and also that we could go into the open water for the first dives! I can recommend it to anyone!

I did my AIDA1 with Sophie last week. What an amazing experience! An eye opener! I feel sorry I didn't had more time to continue with a level 2, as Sophie is an excellent instructor, who made me feel very comfortable and safe while practicing a sport out of the comfort zone. She awake my interest and I'm already seeking to continue with this sport in Belgium, even consider to returning to Mahe for a level 2 as besides her teaching also the location was top!

I did the level one course which was amazing! I was very happily surprised by how much I enjoyed freediving, it's a beautiful way of meditating and relaxing. Sophie is a great instructor, she was very clear with explaining everything, very present all the way through the practice and I felt completely safe and comfortable with her. I also went for an extra diving session the day after, which was just perfect, as one day was definitely not enough!!

I did my Aida 1 and an additional Freediving session with Sophie at Freediving Seychelles and it was honestly a fantastic experience, Sophie is a passionate and well-informed instructor and was able to teach me brilliantly. It was easily the highlight of my week long stay in the Seychelles. I would highly recommend undertaking your freediving courses here!

Can’t recommend this highly enough!! Completed my AIDA 2 qualification recently with Sophie and it was awesome. Sophie is a fantastic teacher - she really helped me with my anxieties and relaxing in the water, to improve technique and build skills and confidence. She combined skills work with seeing some really breathtaking spots, including some dolphins and turtles! Can’t wait to get back in the water again :)

I had the chance to join for a one day session on the AIDA 1 course and I truly enjoyed it. It was my first time freediving, so I was nervous, but Sophie took her time to explain the theory in a clear and thoughtful manner. In the water, I did feel challenged but not overwhelmed, and there were enough experienced instructors for the participants so I felt safe at all times. You can tell everybody there is passionate about the work which makes it more enjoyable too. It’s a good experience to discover your own capabilities and if you love the ocean then you also have the chance to see some amazing marine life! I would definitely join again. Finished my AIDA 2 Course with Sophie as Instructor, and I must say I was very impressed. Though young, she understands her discipline very well and I felt very safe with her in the water. Looking forward to moving on to the next step with her guidance and will definitely recommend her for anyone who wants to try Freediving.

It had not been my intention to take a free diving class. I met Sophia and I was immediately convinced that I need to give that a try. The two hour theoretical course was quite enlightening: very clear information pertaining to the subject. Actually you learn about yourself, your body and your mind and what they are capable of. The dives themselves were fascinating. It was only a lack of routine concerning regular decompression that made me nervous. Once this will be overcome I shall be looking forward to a whole new experience of simply "being", submoerged and tranquil in the wonderful waters of the Indian Ocean. Sophie`s guidance offers most valuable feed back as well as encouragement, to do it again, to do better, to be relaxed about it and to enjoy. Thanks Sophie for opening a new world! Karl

Incredible experience! Sophie is a wonderful teacher and showed us so much patience. This was me conquering a major fear, but not once did I feel afraid. Safety comes first with Sophie - she never left our side or took her eyes off us in the water. 100% recommend and great fun too!

My wife and I decided to try freediving with Seychelles Freediving and we’re really happy we did! Sophie is really a great teacher and gave us lots of tips and advice to help us relax and stay calm so that we could both get the most out of our freediving. I’ve had an amazing experience learning to free dive. Sophie is a talented instructor whose cheerful and calming energy made learning fun and engaging. I was able to complete my AIDA level 2 and also got to meet Marguerite the local turtle on the reef 🐢. I would highly recommend Freediving Seychelles to everyone! Not only is it a wonderful experience but the mindfulness and relaxing techniques I’ve learnt have extended into my day to day life. I had an amazing time and look forward to doing more in the future with Freediving Seychelles.

Freediving with Sophie has been a great experience for me. She has always helped to push past my limits making sure I'm safe and comfortable.
