    Absolutely love Barre Society!! I'd never tried mat or reformer Pilates before, so, I signed up and I'm so glad I did! All the instructors are so down to earth and just simply incredible. Always such a warm welcome when I enter the studio and asking if I had any soreness or injuries, so they could modify a move best suited to me. I have been attending Barre Society for 12 months now and can't see myself without it. I highly recommend the team & Studio at Barre Society, to start your strength and Pilates journey :) <3

    I absolutely love coming to Barre Society! All the instructors are so warm and welcoming. No matter how your body is feeling each instructor helps find what move works best for you no matter what class you are doing. Everyone is always smiling and it’s such a lovely environment to be a part of.

    I have been going to Barre Society for over 12 months now. It is such a supportive environment to achieve your fitness and well-being goals. The coaches go above and beyond to make each class unique and offer opportunities to scale the movements to your individual abilities. The mat and reformer classes are the highlight of my week. 100% would recommend this to anyone wanting to improve their well-being ☺️

    I joined the Barre Society well over 2 years ago and it is the best thing I have ever done. I am not comfortable in a traditional gym and have found Barre is a perfect fit for me. The instructors are so wonderful and caring and know just how to get the most out of you. The classes change frequently, they are always bringing in new ways to move your body. I would recommend Barre to everyone that is looking for a beautiful, nurturing environment while getting an extreme workout.

    I am a 70 years old and started Pilates in April 2023. I'm very much enjoying the classes. The instructors are very caring, supportive and very professional. I have made my Pilates sessions a permanent part of my life. Thanks so much to the team for taking such good care of me. I want to be doing Pilates until I'm at least 96!! Cheers and lots of love

    What a brilliant body, movement and Pilates space. I am a 64 year old who now knows how to care for my body with movement and kindness. Supported by brilliant women, both those who conduct the classes and the participants. I have never felt better physically and my mind is at rest knowing that I am part of something special.

    This community of women are the most welcoming and supportive group of people! Nothing is too much trouble, and no matter your reason for exercising they will accomodate your needs. Highly recommend trying Barre Society, you won’t be disappointed! From nutrition advice to assisting with injury rehabilitation, weight loss and general strengthening, this is the place to try! Thanks for being so inclusive and supportive!

    I love the space at Barre society but what I value the most is the instructor and attention to the individuals and specific needs. Laura has been amazing with checking in this is so important to me after having a baby and getting core strength back. Only wish I could go more often!

    So welcoming from the very beginning. I (50+ yr old) had never used the reformer before so was feeling a bit like a fish out of water. But the trainers were so patient, kind and encouraging. The smaller classes suited me too as you can get that one on one instructions in case you aren’t quite getting the movements correctly. Feeling stronger everyday. Just love this place.

    I have been attending Barre Society for the past four years, the service they offer is outstanding. The team are knowledgeable, welcoming and patient. The environment is clean and exudes warmth and safety. I highly recommend Barre Society no matter what stage you are at with your fitness journey.

    I was diagnosed with multiple disc bulges last year, 2022. I couldn’t barely walk or sit properly as the back pain radiates through to my left glute down to my left ankle. I nearly lost hope as I have visited different physios, chiropractors and osteopaths with not much help. It has been a year and I desperately wanted to get it fixed through surgery. Until my GP recommended trying pilates and I decided to go to Barre Society, I can now weight bear on my left leg and walk pain free after a couple of months. Still have some flare ups every now and then but the pain has now been much better compared to what it was. I am very thankful for the instructors at the Barre Society as they are very kind, caring, and patient with their clients. So happy with their service. 👍🏼💗

    My experience with Barre Society commenced approximately 18 months ago when a friend introduced me. (This friend is typing this under her account as I’m useless with technology) I was always the person who completed everything fast! That is everything from walking, running and eating fast! What barre has taught me is to slow down, be in tune with myself and therefore listen to what my body needs. Barre and all it offers has been a constant savior. The non-negotiable classes that I make with myself several times a week has has led me to becoming physically, mentally and spiritually comfortable and a more confident individual. I no longer feel the need to be fast at what I do. All I need now is the consistent classes which are always varied that keep me coming back for more!     Warm environment and really good classes. The instructors know what they are doing and how to make a class challenging but fun and rewarding. The only thing I struggle with is not being able to get into a class on short notice. They tend to book up quickly!

    These lovely professionals have guided me right through my pregnancy and postpartum, allowing me to join in regular reformer classes and adapting them as needed seamlessly. I felt so safe and confident with their instruction. I’ve been so impressed by the individual care they provide, even in a group classes. My body feels better than ever after baby number 2!

    From the moment I walked through the door on my first visit I felt at ease. All staff were so friendly, extremely welcoming and more than happy to help and give any little tips to help my introduction to all classes to be as smooth as possible I feel more comfortable in my own skin and never feel self conscious around staff and other clientele It certainly feels like a ‘safe place’ for ladies of all ages, sizes and abilities. I love the variety and choice of classes and how it makes me feel mentally, emotionally and physically I can’t wait to see my transformation this year now that I have more time after my youngest child moves out xx

    I started at Barre whilst pregnant where i was able to strengthen my body safely, the team were amazing and are so knowledgable in pregnancy. I continued at Barre postnatal, starting with Mums & Bubs, such a relaxing environment for myself and baby. I was able to build back my strength with great support from the Barre team. I was also guided in choosing what classes to try to regain even more strength when my body was ready. I have never felt stronger within my body since starting at Barre society. I'm so grateful they have taken the time to help me build back my strength/core post natal. The space at Barre is so relaxing and calm, the team are so great on giving 1:1 throughout their lessons and making sure they get to you know you and your body.

    Absolutely beautiful studio with brilliant instructors. The results I have seen from such a short time at Barre Society are incredible. The instructors are knowledgeable and passionate about their work and the variety of classes are great. There is a class and time for everyone!

    I absolutely adore each and every class at Barre Society! Over the years Nerida and the Barre Society team have helped me to fall in love with movement: before, during and after pregnancies, pandemic and injury/illness; in the barre studio, the reformer studio, virtually and social distancing in the park when necessary. Getting back in the studio feels like coming home, and the team always know how to support the individual needs of everyone participating so all can enjoy the class at the pace and level needed. Thank you for creating such a positive and welcoming environment and community! I can't wait for more classes to feature in my weekly routine again! 🙏🏻

    I LOVE Barre Society. I have always struggled with group fitness and fitness in general as I have many chronic health issues and have always felt behind the class or had instructors that were harsh and not very understanding of my limitations and how they change day to day. Nerida and her team have been nothing but incredible. I have always felt encouraged, empowered and understood at this studio and I can feel improvement in my fitness and self worth which is 100% because of how amazing the women who run the classes are. I’m so grateful I found this safe space and always look forward to classes.

    From my first class, I have found Barre Society to be a very positive and supportive place to be. All of the instructors have taken the time to get to know me and always check in to find out if any adjustments or modifications are needed to accommodate any injuries. At the end of every class, I have always felt better than when I arrived. I am stronger, more coordinated and have better balance. I can see Barre Society being an important part of my life for many years to come.

    Would 100% recommend, regular gyms were way to intimating for me, so I didn't do any structured exercise before joining Barre Society. Perfect for real beginners or ladies who need a confidence boost. The instructors are fun, and really care about each individuals needs. Plenty of variety and such a beautiful, female only, environment to focus on yourself for an hour. Other clients are lovely as well.

    Barre Society is my little zen oasis in the middle of Bendigo. As a newbie, Im so glad I found this pilates studio. The trainers are wonderful and will support you to get the most out of each class at your own pace.

    Two years ago I signed myself up for a 30 day class trial at Barre Society and to be honest, initially I had no intention of continuing beyond that 30 days. That was until I did my first class and fell in love with Pilates, the incredible women who attend, the calm of the studio space and the beautiful and supportive environment that Nerida and her team have created. I have been a regular ever since and almost 2 years later I enjoy Pilates even more than the day I started. Barre Society is more than just a Pilates studio, it’s a community that I will be forever grateful to have found.
