Oldest Irish pub in Vienna and the cosiest as well. It's not that big but that adds to the atmosphere. Friendly bartender, and all you would expect from Irish pub is there. Also, I don't think there is 1 centimeter in that bar that is not decorated with a poster, coaster, sticker or other stuff. For the enthusiasts for this kind of stuff, this place is definitely a must visit.

I always go here when I'm visiting the city. Absolutely the best pub in Vienna! The waiter forgot my tea and then made it for free, he was such a sweetheart, I recommend this place for everybody!

Rustic, cozy and a good bloody time. That's what you'll experience here. Great selection of whiskeys that are very reasonably priced. The bartender is one of the nicest people you'll meet. Don't think twice, just go here if you want have a drink with your buddies.

Good Irish pub. The barman happily charged my phone for me when it needed it. The Guinness and the Hooegaarden are both great pints in there (Guinness abroad is often a gamble) and some quality live music on too. Only thing that I really had a problem with was cash only. Its not clear when you walk in, and then you end up having to wander off and find a cash point and leave your group / pint. I went in alone and was quite happy in there, no rush to leave, enjoyed the atmosphere and got a few good chats out of people on the table next door

This tiny pub is a great destination down a small alley in Vienna. There's so much to look at while you enjoy a pint or a whiskey.

A very tiny pub where you have to drink while standing most of the time. (Unless you are one of the first customers of the day) It is quite likely to get socialised with other customers. There are nice and fresh beers. Bartender was friendly. All the decorations on the walls and on the ceiling are worth to have a look one by one. Next time I go to Vienna, I will definitely visit here again.

Wanted a cosy pub to enjoy a couple drinks in our first night in Vienna and the Bockshorn was perfect. The atmosphere was great and the staff were really friendly.

Little iconic Irish pub with crammed seatings and decorations. Cozy atmosphere. Nice beers. Only complaint is that bartender was being rude for no obvious reason. Also toilets need some renovation.

This place is a jewel in Vienna's crown. It is like going back in time. No phone signal. Music was good. Great service from ya man with the beard. Will return.

This is a small pub in Vienna that has the character of at least two or three pubs packed into it. From the punk rock music to the Irish Pub vibe and cozy nature of the place as well as the slightly salty, but welcoming and responsive bar man, it is my favorite drinking spot in Vienna so far. I was there in the late afternoon to early evening and was lucky enough to get a spot with my friends rather easily. I can see that not being the case on a busy night, but don't let that deter you.

Fantastic place, I always enjoy coming to this place. It's the oldest and probably the smallest Irish bar in Vienna. You feel right at home when you walk in the door. Good Guinness and family atmosphere a great sign you are in am Irish bar.

Believe the sign out front says this is the oldest Irish bar in Vienna - hard to believe it's not. This is a small place with mostly bar stools - but a lot of "pub" decor hanging on every possible inch. There's few places like this in old town Vienna, and if you can find this place down the side alley, definitely grab a pint.

If you like your Irish pubs this is a must. Really quirky, old school feel to the pub with a really welcoming landlord. Would 100% recommend if in Vienna and you're after a traditional pub with character! FYI it's tucked down a side street, blink and you'll miss it!

Easily one of the best pubs in Vienna. It is super super small. They serve only drinks, but they are fast and the atmosphere is amazing. They don't serve at the table but who cares when you're so small. Perfect.

Bartender was a really nice guy and he chatted with my wife and I for a while and told us about his experience living in Vienna. We had a few beers and nice conversation. The whole atmosphere is a prototypical Irish pub. Nice experience

I had a reservation with a group of friends, we were really looking forward to this evening and as we arrived we were told, that they don’t have any space. They didn’t even apologize and reacted indifferent when we were pointing out that we had a reservation… seemed like the bar tender didn’t care at all. Further, a men asked me to give him his number, so that he could call me if they had some space. As the bartender didn’t react to his offer, I believed him to be part of the staff - turned out he wasn’t but seems like everyone else - including the bartender - found this quite amusing. In the end, we had to go home as other pubs and bars were booked out, so thanks for nothing.

Great Pub, idyllic atmosphere, nice music. Priced a bit higher than usual but for a location in the 1st district of Vienna it's adequate.

Walked in the bar, Barman gave us a funny look, waited 5 minutes to be served, then the Barman says "sorry sir but we have no space left, we're too full" during my discussion with him 4 new people came in and were served immedietly by the barman next to the one who told me this info. Then i realised what the issue was. I'm half persian and my friend is Nigerian... I'll leave it to you to judge that but a few of the comments confirm my suspicion

A very small Irish pub with an amazingly huge collection of whiskies. The barman was very nice and even counted the whiskies for us and there were more than 100 of them. Barman also have drawn a leaf on our Guinness foam which was very nice. Good prices, good location
