I found this place welcoming and interesting. I wanted to take my friends to a nice place typical of Vienna and I got it right I must say. The beer is great and overall there is a huge selection. They welcomed us on the first floor and we had nice seats, we then ordered the typical dishes and waited very little to have everything.The food was special and I can't wait to go back 🤩

Best place for beer lovers. Different types of fresh craft beer served in 0.1L, 0.25L, 0.4L and 1.5L glasses. I really liked the 1516 Weisse beer and 1516 Blond Lager. There is also a wide variety of meals - from burgers and potato wedges to salads and local specialties. Friendly and fast service. Everything was great. It's definitely on my list for the next visit to Vienna.

Stop here for lunch today while visiting Vienna. Loved the place! Great beer and food! Beer is brewed locally. The food was delicious and came out pretty fast! The service was nice as well. Would for sure stop by again if we are in the area.

We enjoyed everything. We ordered Wiener Schnitzel, Wien Gulasch, Kartoffeln Salat, Lager and Weiss Bier. Even though the restaurant was very crowded, the service was very fast. The employees were friendly, polite and spoke English fluently.

We landed on 1516 out of desperation but it was meant to be... That place absolutely rocks! The low-key cozy atmosphere, the exquisite service, the delicious food, and their amazing beer had delivered one of the best experiences in Vienna! The two Greek waiters on the upper floor had been so kind, helpful, and swift with the service. Sadly, we run out of holiday time but most definitely we will be visiting again on our next visit to Vienna.

We've decided to visit it because of high ratings. We choose the second floor and despite the plenty of free tables we are sited on a small one that was broken and unstable. We've ordered schnitzel, spaetzel and goulash that were tasty, we drank local beer that was also very good. Thenservice was unpleasant.

Very nice place to drink original house beers. Very tasting. A lot of food options. The portion sizes are really big, so it is not expensive at all. We ordered sausage with cheese, but this was not so tasty for me. Service is fast and kind. We wanted to seat in the garden but there was no free seats. The waiter immediately called us when a place became available. We really appreciate it. Good music and the atmosphere is perfect.

Restaurant full of character, ridiculous prices I’ve been there for dinner and I enjoyed the experience. The restaurant is really cozy, I like its furniture and the overall atmosphere of the place. The meal was good, we ordered schnitzel and gulasch (not the best I had in Vienna, but they were quite inexpensive meals) and we tried both craft beers (the lager and the other one - they were good)

A great brewpub with a few in-house brews and some guest taps. The food came out fast and it was delicious. All of this was served up by very friendly people that humored my attempts at speaking German. Great place, great food, great people.

I liked this place so much and will recommend to others. Place is in a good location and always very noisy, because of many people, but this makes it special⭐️ Food is so delicious, we ordered traditional schnitzel and bbq chicken wings, they were so big portions and super tasty🥰 Beer is also very good, we ordered they craft dark beer and liked so much. Everything comes so quickly. Despite so many people, staff takes care on every table. They are so nice, friendly and always there if you need something. I will return there definitely 💯 Highly recommended!

They managed to get us in without a reservation on a busy Friday night which was very much appreciated. They have a nice selection of beer on tap and a large food menu that caters to a large range of tastes. The service was excellent, especially considering how crowded it was.

Accidental find in September while travelling. The beers are numerous and all very good! The schnitzel was tasty. Service was superb. Fernanda was a great table hostess. Attentive and fast service. The vibe was great. I highly recommend and if ever back in Vienna, I will visit again!

Had the pork Escolope with the potatoes salad! Absolutely amazing! Loved every bite. Beer was good too. They just switched the lights down really low which is great for a club but I'd have preferred just to have been able to see whilst I was eating.

It’s a busy and happening for sure. The quality of food is great. The ribs are super delicious, but might be a bit on the salty side. The have unique drinks and beer selections. The wait staff all speak good English for non German speakers, it’s definitely easy to communicate. The place is a bit loud so not a place for conversations.

The pork ribs left an unforgettable impression with their delicious taste, and the chicken wings were equally amazing. While the Caesar salad was decent, scoring a 3 out of 5, the overall experience makes this place a must when you're in Vienna.

Big outdoor seating area. Didn’t go inside. Staff was really efficient. Really good beer selection. Although weirdly they didn’t offer flights despite having all tap beers available at 0,1 l. Beer quality was good so this is a good beer stop in the old town area.

The food is great, the price are reasonable and the portions are in the right size. We took the chicken popcorn ( like nuggets) for each kid and they barley finish a quarter of it so sharing is advisable. The chicken salad was unique and delightful. Super recommended.

The Bartenders are some of the best around, no waiting around for drinks here... And somehow they are super friendly. The crowd is easy going.. Coming from America I was surprised how good the BBQ was.. Enjoy.

Due to the popularity of the place, there is going to be up to 10 minutes of waiting for a free table. However, waiters are really nice, beer is great (especially pumpkin ale and weiss beer) and I highly recommend bratwurst and goulash.

This is a great restaurant! The food was excellent and it was cool to try the homemade beers. The waitstaff were very friendly and willing to give recommendations. I would definitely eat there again.

Amazing classic beer bar and restaurant near the city centre! The homemade beer and ribs with sauce and country French fries was amazing, very tasty and big. It is value of money! I will come back soon!!

Cool spot, love the branding. Was absolutely packed but the servers were impressively efficient. 10x beers on tap, wide variety of styles including a Double, Single Hop, and Session IPA. Pumpkin seasonal ale was a nice change up.

Due to the popularity of the place, there is a big crowd, regardless of that, the waiters get their job done and there is no lack of kindness. As soon as you smell the food, all your senses will be satisfied. Good craft beers. Prost!

Visited in September and it was so nice to be able to sit outside. The lager was tasty and the schnitzel was a delight. We wish we knew the size of the ribs as we would have shared between two of us if we had known it was so massive!

Nice spot in a cool part of town. Their mantra of viva la cervacion is awesome. I had a few of their beers to include the one that's brewed in partner with Victory brewing. I sat at the bar and Vavina did a great job even when they got multiple rushes of customer orders. The place does get busy, but the staff seem to handle it well. Good beer at decent prices.

Great brewery in the middle of the old town, next to the Australian Pub. the entrance floor is for smokers and the top floor is the restaurant. my second time there after 3 years and still love this place. We ordered the Alpine Cheese Spaetzle (some kind of risotto made of potatoes - really good, Vienna Chicken Schnitzel and Vegan Burger. Nice prices and big dishes, very recommended!

Very nice place to taste original house beers with a quickly service from the waitress. The food options is diverse and the portion sizes are really big, so it is not expensive at all. Good music and the atmosphere is perfect. Keep it up guys! (Just wanna buy a t-shirt of “viva la cervezación” but it seems they do not sell them).

Solid lunch spot offering. The Friday special was highly enjoyed. The goulash was also very tasty. Beers were pretty good. Nice extensive options of food, drinks, and alcohols.

What I can say? I love this place, all the people looks happy there, waiters looks happy working, beer is always tasting perfectly and food also, the service is exquisite and work like a clock machinery. Just perfect. They are doggy friendly btw!!!

A very good place to go after the opera since they get orders for food until very late after midnight. There is a second floor where you can eat more calm since it is not as loud as the bar below. Awesome beer, food and service!

I went to this restaurant twice during my stay in Vienna because it was totally amazing! The atmosphere is really nice, good music, nice beer and a friendly staff. The best part: the coasters. I highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed our dinner here. We sat outdoors and even though it was busy, they found room for us. The beer was great and i especially enjoyed the NEIPA. Beef goulash and cabbage roll were good choices, although they could have been served a bit hotter. Prices were normal and despite being touristy, it was a very pleasant place for dinner and beer.

So-great beer and a warm atmosphere will greet you at 1516. Food is average sadly and I think the only people to commit suicide for the wings, were the chickens. Great place though and would go again.

I had one of the best burgers in my entire life and I am talking about the beef. It was amazing. The only thing was that they serve the burger with quite a few French fries, as you can see. Great potato salad and the wurst with the cheese was okay. The vibe is great, the service is amazing.

An awesome and vibrant beer place. It has it’s own brewery with a variety of decent beers in the offer. It is also reasonable priced. The place is quite packed though, so plan your visit in advance.

September 2022. It was one of the only lunch sports open on Sunday that wasn't super expensive and didn't require reservations, so we've merrily ordered goulash and the house beers (1516 beers are fantastic and I wish I could've taken a six-pack home with me) in what turned out to be a mostly pleasant experience. Sitting in the top floor, unfortunately not near a window because they were all occupied, this place has a lovely view on the next building. Beautifully designed in vintage/90s posters and art with great music - it's a very chill place. So we really wanted to fully enjoy this place, HOWEVER the goulash arrived cold so it must have been sitting there waiting to be ordered by someone. It was reheated and still good, though. Plus, the tabasco sauce are all expired YEARS ago (2017,2020), and when we'd asked for a replacement they were all expired! So we wanted to love this place because it really is cute, but they sadly made it kind of difficult for us.
