Good amount of outdoor seats in summer - and you’d do well to get one there. The place is rather underground, so inside seating lacks a lot of natural light. Service is friendly and quick, however, and their craft beer selection is nothing to sneeze at. Don’t expect too many non-beer drink options though, aside from the standard fare of long drinks mixed in inconsistent ways. Overall pleasant to be at, and if you like craft beers (why else would you come here?) make sure to give their home brew a try. Delicious.

Cute place, friendly people, great cocktails and drinks. Not huge, but comfy and well equipped for a crowd of folks. Perhaps fifty peoples tops? There's a shelf full of games. Downside, the the place is damp, because it's subterranean, smells slightly of mildew, restrooms are... ...could be cleaner and better maintained.

We visited here on a slam poetry night, and although we don't speak any Austrian, we had a lot of fun. Felt very 'studenty' which suited us and we agree with their slogan "For students, travelers, and awesome people". They also serve cheap and tasty beer. Highly recommend to those looking for a chic pub with a very 'Austrian' feel.

Diverse beer selection and friendly staff, easily accessible location. However unbearably smoky. The bar consists of a big room where are several tables and chairs and a small hallway (right after the entry) where the counter and a foosball table are located. The latter is dedicated to be the "non smoking area" however apart from few bar chairs seating is not available. This hallway is not separated "air-tight" from the big room what is apparently a smoking area, despite of the "non smoking" sticker on the wall. When we asked the waiters, why there are ashtrays out when the sign tells it is a non smoking area he told us that was an old sign. There was not any kind of air circulation tho. According to my knowledge this setup is not only harmful to health and environment but also restricted by law or in the gray-zone. There should be a proper non smoking area, not only a "less smokier hallway". I gave two stars because the service and the nice selection.

Polkadot was cozy and had a nice menu list. We had a good time meeting new people here during the couchsurfing event

Polkadot is a down-to-earth bar with a good selection of bier at a reasonable price🍺The ambient has got a great atmosphere and there is also a foosball table. A great choice for a night-out!

It is a small bar in the basement of a building. On the weekends it is very crowded and due to the lack of an AC very hot. Maybe it is on purpose so you drink more? I can say it worked. They have a huge collection of different beer you can choose from and the wine is great too.

Quiet Monday evening with only a few customers, later on friends of the bar tender gathered at the bar. Polite service, music not too loud, selling individual cigarettes which was nice for someone who like an occational smoke with drink. Definetly more of a beer and local bar than cocktail and get-know-people type of place.

An old favourite. A trip to Vienna isn't complete without having a beer in a little bar like this.

A nice place to have a few drinks. Good selection of national and international beers and ciders. Especially worth checking out the open mic english comedy nights.

It’s not open till 1am. I came all the way here to find out it’s closed and has been for a while. It’s not 11:30 or 2330. The open hours are completely wrong

Really bad service and a rude bartender. We are tourist and its like she did not want us there. She said they were about to close and that she could not serve us but she did not have a problem to take orders from other customers arriving after us.
