We only got drinks at this place but it was lovely. A nice view of the city and my drink was so tasty. A little expensive but what do you expect, it was nice to have a little treat whilst on holiday.

As others have said staff are terrible. Such a shame as the views are gorgeous. I had a reservation outside which they said I couldn’t have because they are now closed incase it rains. I’d travelled across town especially so I asked if I could have my drink outside as booked and then move inside if it rains to which I was told no it’s closed (the terrace was full of other people see pic). I asked politely if they could have phoned / emailed if my reservation had now changed to which the host snapped “we can’t predict the weather”. I found a bar across the road which was gorgeous so I wouldn’t recommend wasting time / money here when the rest of the city is fantastic. I’ve heard other solo travellers say similar, I think they may prioritise service based on big groups spending money.

Excellent rooftop terrace cafe restaurant in Vienna. It offers an international menu with good options. Good service and excellent views. Recommended.

Wonderful modern restaurant with views across the rooftops of Wien. Great choice of quality dishes and drinks away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping streets below. The lovely staff were attentive without rushing us and knowledgeable about their menu. Look forward to returning soon.

The place has a view to the cathedral which is nice but it's limited I expected to see more of the city from the sky bar. They had interesting commercial on the terasse where you can have a smoke. The cocktails are good but not exceptional for the price tag.

The place has very cozy atmosphere. There is a cloak room in front of the bar. We were there for lunch. The food is delicious. I had the stuffed pepper and it was great.

SKY is located on the top floor of Steffl, very convenient, a good place to recharge after some hard labored shopping 😂. They mostly crowded due to popularity, the roof top view and hip atmosphere . They serve great selection of cocktails and other drinks, for non-alcoholic drinks I highly recommend to try their various ice tea, super delicious. We were not a big fan of the foods due to following reasons: - beef tartare, a bit chewy, had to spit out, tendons were not removed completely. - fish, fresh and tasty - sky burger, super greasy, flavorful though - fried rice, DON’t order it, disgusting, worst I’ve ever had, rice was hard and flavor was odd. Services was lagging, due to they were busy & limited English speaking staff.

Steak Tartare and bear were very good, service fast and helpful, bit best thing is the great view you can experience from the terrace! Prices are not huge, atmosfere is super, enjoy this place!

We stopped for a drink in the Sky Bar. The team were friendly and helpful. The offering is vast and the bar is well stocked with a wide range of drinks from across the world. Would highly recommend a visit and will definitely be coming back.

Love the place. Located on top of a department store 7th floor. Great view over the city. We came for lunch after a shopping tour in the city and a visit in the department stores The cocktails are nice, the food was good. Great atmosphere.

Nice roof garden with view in a central place. I booked through their website a table two hours before I get there. Staff very friendly and quick service. I got two cocktails which were nice! The view is nice and they have some trees and interested decoration. The place had a lot of people for a week day so I suggest to book a table in advance just to be sure. Recommend it !

Very good view from outside and nice services. Good food and not too expensive. Can both get drinks and food. Book table in advance can get very crowded.

Good: location, atmosphere, view, food quality Bad: service - arrogant and unfriendly - we had to go back to the reception area and wait for a slow service just to be seated in a table even though many tables/seats were empty (they said they were “reserved” which no one came after 2 hours) So with this, the pricing was too high…. if you think it’s ok to treat customers feel like that at this pricing, you need to rethink who’s paying for your business 🤣🤦🏻

It has views that are worth seeing😲. It is an expensive place, but ☝I had the best mojito🍸 in the city of Vienna. The service is up to the price, very good and correct. We felt very welcome😌. In short: the best the views and the cocktails, the worst the price. It is still very much worth it.👍

Very poor service. Monday evening, the place isn't even half full. Ordered two drinks, which arrived to the table 20 minutes later. Drinks were alright. Update: "El Diablero" ends being 'fun' post-digestion. No longer recommended.

Was here just to soak the views of the city. It's one of the few rooftop restaurant where you can oversee Vienna from height. Had lunch and was really surprised by their fried rice. I'm Asian and definitely had to compliment their fried rice. Had to wait a bit though if you want outdoor seating.

Went to SKY @ STEFFL for an evening drink, when we arrived we were told that outside was fully booked unfortunately so we didn't get to enjoy the view so much. The drinks were a little pricey as one might expect, but plenty of choice and what we had were very nice! We were entertained watching the bartenders make drinks, very razzle dazzle! Had to wait a while to get someone's attention to pay our bill. And on our way out we went outside just to see the view a bit better. I would say it's worth trying to book if you really want to sit outside to enjoy the view you're paying for.

It is a weird review i have to say. I had maybe the best appetizer in my life called hummer flusskrebs tatar. Yet for dinner i had maybe the worst seafood ever called bio steier brazino. It stinked so bad that hours after it i can still smell it. Oh add an insult to injury, the visa/credit card machine didn’t work. So i had to leave my jacket with some stuff on the table as approve i am not running away so i can go to the bank around the corner and come back to pay with cash. The staff were friendly though and great atmosphere. So the only down side was the seafood.

All of the food and drinks were good (except the matcha milkshake). I had the vegetarian curry and the cherry cocktail

The atmosphere of the Sky bar is nice, a wonderful panorama of the city. The objection is that staff doesn't speak English well, the Sacher cake I ordered was not so tasty and the prices are unjustifiably high

We had drinks here on Thudsday evening a couple of weeks ago. As the terrace was full we sat inside but still could enjoy the views. The choice of coctails was great - we went for "Catch me" and "Tropical delight"

Amazing roofbar near the Stephans church. Unfortunately we could only stay for an hour because we didnt make reservation . So I would definitely suggest to make a reservation beforehand. We had chips and quesedilla. The drink with the marshmallow (7th heaven) was absolutely amazing

I was enticed to visit the Sky Bar by the amazing posters of the panoramic views outside the building. I was seated inside as there were no tables outside. The inside is decorated well and the seats are comfortable but it’s not the same as sitting outside. The overall service was good. The coffee was great and it was good that they provided a glass of water as well. But I came in to sit outside and enjoy the views, which I wasn’t able to - hence the 2 stars, as I could have gone to literally anywhere else in Vienna for a great coffee

Went there with my boyfriend, overall a super experience even for us who are from Vienna. We started pointing out the different churches and architecture styles we could see from the roof top bar. I had a medium rare steak which was not as rare as I would have liked, my boyfriend had the Schnitzel with Fries and Truffle mayo which was fantastic. We each got a cocktail which cost around 18,-€ It took a little while for the server to take our order but the terrace was full and he was the only station waiter ( as far as we could see) We waited around 15min for drinks 40 for food but we had a nice conversation going so the time didn't feel as long. I do recommend it, maybe go on a not so windy day as we did. All in all a 4/5

The food we ordered was excellent. However, the lady who served the floor wore a bitter face, not a single smile throughout. I know this is Vienna and most people are as cold as icebergs, but restaurants seriously should not employ such employees. She made us feel how miserable her work is 😅😅😅

Great service. Very nice views. The prices are good as well for the locations. Good recommendations with the wine! We did ask for a small beef tartar and got the big plate instead, only realised when we saw the price but it was too late.

Amazing food!! The Chicken Bowl was incredible. Really gentle and fun staff as well, the restaurant wasn’t crowded and the atmosphere was great. Great variety of cocktails and dishes as well. Definitely recommend!

I've been coming back here for a few years. Love the view and the food is good too! It might be difficult to get a table as walk-in - glad the staff managed to find me one :) I would recommend reservation.

This is where you want to spend a hot afternoon. Or enjoy a sunset over the city of Vienna. Or gaze, admiringly, at the pattern on the cathedral"s roof - you will hardly find a better place for it! You pay for the view, of course: the prices are high even for Vienna's first district. But rest assured, you will pay happily. We had the table with the best view ever - on the edge, almost unobstructed view, planters with ferociously blooming herbs at arm's length. For some reason, this was also "the invisible table" - it required patience and skill to draw the staff's attention, but we weren't in a hurry. The crowd was mixed - families, business people, students - everybody nice, polite and quiet. Their sweet potato fries deserve a special mention: a solid portion, fresh and delicious. This is the place to visit when you crave a little vacation from your everyday routine!

The Sky Bar view isn't like NYC or Sydney as you are only as high as the roof of Steaphansdom ,however the outdoor seating is nicely shaded and comfortable. The food is good and priced reasonably, the soup was trying to be Asian Fusion but misses the mark. The Burger was good. Overall worth visiting if you are a tourist.

I had a good time at this rooftop terrace. They have an amazing choice of cocktails and the food is tasty. I enjoyed my tropical Moscow mule and my Viennese style fried chicken. Thanks to the front lady for accommodating me last minute. 100% recommended for a drink or meal.

Very good food, portion of cesar Salad was Luke starter, though it was ordered as main course. Beer litte to warm. Marvellous view to the dome

Beautiful views, lovely cocktails, friendly wait staff, food was good. Only downfall is, that it's pricey. A nice treat once in a while though. Would definitely recommend 👌.

Best view of the city. Lovely atmosphere, nice waiting staff. Only down point is food (it's ok, but nothing exceptional, vapiano has better food.. :) ). The place & staff is great.

You can enjoy your meal woth magnificent view of Dorm Stephansplatz. The waiters and waitress behaviors are very good and welcome. The only negative point is the price which is relatively high. For example the simple Caffe Latte is about 8€.
