I can't recommend this place enough! It was really really nice, even for a solo traveler like me! Staff are super duper friendly, just simply amazing. Foods are top notch! The views- cherry on top of the cake! If you visit Vienna, a nice evening spent here might be a good idea! Would love to be back one day!

Was left wondering if we went for food or just the view. Let’s start with the latter, the view is stunning , surpassing expectation. Almost a 360 degree panoramic view of the city and its dazzling light. But then, food disappointed us, Michelin star rating and such tasteless food, small portions, good presentation. We ordered a few dishes hoping that something would be good, nothing worth mentioning. Waste of a good amount as this is an expensive place. Forgot to click photos of the food. The drinks were just ok, the servers had an inexplicable attitude .Do not recommend, save for a better experience.

Awesome view 🔓😍 There is a dining area here (all the tables next to the window), where you should have a reservation in advance. And, also a bar area (on the podium, with mostly high tables) where you can access drinks and snacks, without full meals. Restaurant sits on the last floor of the hotel SO/Vienna. Interior looks really spectacular, I would definitely recommend to visit at least once 💯 Prices are 5/5, so a good dinner for 2 will be around 150€. Atmosphere is nice here, also cool music on the background and stylish people coming in. Great place to get to know Vienna. 😉

You most probably pay for the view. We booked their degustation menu in order to be seated by the window. The food was good, nothing spectacular, our main waiter was friendly and attentive. The lady bringing the food gave the plates on the table and that was it, no presentation of the dish as you may be used to in fancy restaurants. The restaurant is combined with the bar, thus you may expect a bit of the louder chill music. We tried the bar as well and if we could chose next time, we just go for their delicious cocktails.

Everything was amazing, the view, atmosphere, service, the food and presentation. The food was amazing. Appetizers wow, never thought that bread and butter can give you so much pleasure in tasting and salmon bites... Goodness me you feel each flavor separately... It was an amazing evening. Starters and the main was superb too as it was the desert.Thank you!

This bar restaurant gives you a complete experience. The food is delicious and the service is like you would expect from a top restaurant. The music and coctails in the bar are also fantastic. Amazing experience Beautiful view

Evening drinks and bar snacks at the best nightview of Vienna at Das Loft at SO/ Vienna . Superb cocktails (the best i have ever had).. with the STRAWBERRIES & GREEK YOGURT cocktail - BRANDY, STRAWBERRY, MUSCAT WINE, HONEY.l, ROOIBOS TEA, LEMON, GREEK YOGURT; yes they launched a new cocktail menu incorporating dairy products which is a new trend amongst Austrian cocktail scene.. truly wondrous.. and also the KUNG FU PANDAN with WHITE JAMAICA RUM, LIME, PANDAN LEAF.. lovely… honestly super good at 9/10 rating, super yumms for their soft shell crab - SOFTIHELL CRAB - with BAO BUN WASABI MAYO & TROUT CAVIAR and ribeye steak - RIBEYE with TRUFFLE SAUCE, POMMES, GARLIC MAYO.. Green Olives supplement delicious! Gorgeous ceiling! A must-visit when u come to Vienna! Kudos to Vincent & Marcela - Das Loft Bar Mgr and Restaurant mgr respectively and staff greeter- Amelie for taking good care of me!

I make it a point to visit a rooftop in every city I go to, and this one came highly recommended. It did not disappoint! Truly a fantastic rooftop bar. I only had a drink, which was quite good. Although they offer dinner, I had other plans and didn't dine here. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance. I believe anyone visiting the city should book a spot here to take in the breathtaking views of the entire city.

Sadly, I was a bit disappointed by the restaurant. The view was amazing and the service was great. However, the food is in extremely small portions and you can’t have an actual dinner. I had the caviar sandwich and it tasted like an extremely salty cheesecake with something even saltier on top. The salmon bites and the bread and butter they bring as appetisers are actually more delicious.

Visited this restaurant, and had a very good service, which is good taking in consideration the prices. Food was absolutely amazing, took a menu with 5 dishes and it was worth it. If you are planning to go for this restaurant for the first time, I recommend you to do the same.

By far the best view in Vienna. Food and drinks were awesome! We sat at in the bar side and had the burger and prawns and shared the cheesecake. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The cocktails are a little expensive but beer and wine are much more reasonable. The atmosphere was very nice and overall great experience!

Impressive view of Vienna in a vibrating elegant bar atmosphere with great beats in the evening. The tasting menu and wine pairing are worth their money in combination with this expensive view. The service is friendly, but totally understaffed, so count with very long waiting times.

You pay a premium for the view and service. Food is nice but comes in very small portions. Really frustrating to pay so much and look for something to eat later.

From the beginning to until dessert the food, service and atmosphere was excellent. Food was heavenly. I rarely eat beef and glad I chose to eat beef. Superb definitely the highlight of the meal. Wine pairing was amazing. It went together with all the meals we chose. Service was great! Attentive on time but not pushy. Our host made great wine suggestions! Location especially sunset, nothing can beat looking at Vienna at night.

Lovely place to enjoy a cocktail 🍸 or you favourite drink looking at the skyline of Vienna. Music is really good. Perfect for couples, friends and good company :-)

SUPER PLACE! Delicious breakfast and breathtaking view. The staff was super nice! Next time in Vienna I'll be back for sure! maybe in spring or summer to be able to enjoy the sunrise and sunset without clouds or fog. I fell in love with Das Loft.

High quality of food and grear view. Downtown View are only for dinning and 1st row minimum charge for 100eur pp. The bread and a small soup they put on your table automatically are actually charge 5eur pp without noticing you ( normal fine dinning place that will be complimentary) . Bar are located facing the backside of the town. Still pretty nice though.

Great view from this restaurant. The restaurant's design is unique. Prices are bit high, however it is expected. We ordered two cocktails and a dessert and enjoy the sunset.

We were there for a couple drinks. Everything was good, i think view is should be better at morning or a time zone in sun light presence. Next time we will visit here again. Espresso martini was amazing.

I visited Das LOFT on my trip to Vienna .. Overall was good.. the atmosphere and the view are amazing .. the food was great too However the service can be better, two small incidents happened 1- the server spilled the dessert on the floor when it was on the way to the table 😂 however they immediately fixed that which made me let it go 2- on my way out the lady who was getting my coat literally dragged it on the floor with an attitude which wasn’t acceptable at all and ruined the end of the night… Keep in mind that attitude was after I paid the bill and gave a generous tip … If it was not for this attitude I would be giving the place 5 stars I hope they fix the service as the food and the atmosphere are great

It was a wonderful experience. The view is amazing and we fell for a day of perfect visibility of the city and the surrounding nature. There was also a beautiful sunset. We accidentally booked a place for a bar and not for a restaurant that it was unpleasant that they did not agree to transfer or serve us the restaurant menu. But other than that it's a great experience.

Visited at night for drinks! Didn't have to make a reservation on a week night. The place and the service were amazing! You can feel the atmosphere changing from the moment you enter the dark elevator. The ceiling is beautiful and so is the view of the city. Would recommend visiting at sunset. Cocktail prices can be high, but that's to be expected. Wine & beer are more affordable choices.

We went to Das Loft to celebrate our aniversary and we loved the experience. The restaurant is super fancy, the views are incredible and the staff are the best. The food was super tasty. The music so nice. Perfect evening.

Excellent location and great food. I would say some things were delicious like the burger and the steak and some were okay like shrimps with something. The menu was nice. Overall great place to chill and listen to great music.

I liked the place a lot, but they have no reservations. The wait time is atrocious. If they have reservations the whole thing would go smoother and we wouldn’t be dead on our legs and in a terrible mood by the time you sit down. The cocktails were amazing, especially the Humble view.

Beautiful restaurant which is a great place to go out at night and it turns into spectacular breakfast serving point in the morning. View is spectacular - whole Viennna, 360 degrees.

A beautiful restaurant with very good food. I had porkbelly and angus for main dish. I only got 1,5 small potatoes for my main dish, i was full but i can think that is a bit little. I think the focus should be on the service. Asked the head waiter for a window table but she said it was full. The whole evening the three window tables next to us had no guest. She told us we would get a window table if there was one. Also the tables next us had dirty plates on them the whole evening. I think the problem is the lack of communication between the waiters. For a restaurant in a place(amazing venue) like this it must be a better experience service wise. I had to ask for the check 3 times and even ask for our jackets. Pls waiters, communication between eachother. If you all have different work stations you have to let the other workers know. Our waiter was nice and did his job. Great food but poor service.

just a bit better than your average everyday local restaurant. very cocky, very pricey. service was just o.k some of the dishes were terrible and we couldn't eat them. Waste of time and money...

We went to Das Loft for after dinner drinks and were impressed by the phenomenal atmosphere, breathtaking views of Vienna and the excellent cocktails. We’ll be back soon.

Delicious breakfast with incredible view.

The waitress needed to learn English, which caused a lot of confusion. She did not understandably explain what we needed to do and what she expected us to tell her. This caused us to ask her three times what she expected us to do next with the menu. After the initial experience with the waitress, we didn't have another conversation with her, and then everything went well. The food was excellent, in addition, the pairing of the wine with the dishes and also the guy who explained the wines to us was evident and open to questions, which was fun, altho the desert dish we changed and I'm not sure if the wine paring was correct to the dish we had. I would have scored 5 if the waitress had not given us such a confusing initial experience.

Atmosphere and view are amazing! The food is good, but not spectacular for that price point. You come mainly for the view here, there are definitely better places for food in Vienna.

Its not a bad place to come for a couple of drinks in the afternoon. Easy reservation for the bar online (booked it on the same day although I suspect you can even walk in), drinks were ok (a bit on the sweet side), good service and the place remains empty until 6pm so you get all the panoramic view to yourself/ your camera (lol), no need to purchase the set dinner and spend $$$ on food you might not even enjoy....

Wow! Amazing international bar/ loft situation. Feels classy and contemporary with a great incomparable view over Vienna. A 10/10 experience.

A good view of Wien city 😍😍. They don't have a lot of food choices in the menu but they have drinks. So good for snacks and refreshing drinks. And a bit pricey.

The cocktails are better than the food, the views are the best in town, and the service is great. Let me explain. The cocktails are innovative, quirky, delicious and served by entertaining and communicative bartenders while you’re enjoying the views of the city. The food was a bit disappointing; there wasn’t enough butter for the amount of bread served. The carrot trilogy was not perfectly paired with the cheese -you could not taste the carrots at all. The gnocchi were delicious but the vegetarian options so limited (cauliflower is the only option on the menu) that I had to ask to have the gnocchi without the fish. The Vorarlberg cheese plate includes Parmesan (Italian cheese). The service was attentive and entertaining.

We went for drinks and dessert at their bar. View is spectacular. Nice for sitting and enjoying the view. Cheesecake was really good. Vine was fair price. Hope to be back for some more food and restaurant experience.
