Excellent service wonderful people, incredible selection. Very rarely do I find a business with such excellent service. I spent a wonderful night here. Normally, I have a pint or two and move on. I spent my entire evening here, as result of the exceptional service and wonderful local crowd. The only thing more beautiful than the city, is the people who live in it.

Had a nice evening with boardgames ect. When I wanted to pay, I noticed she put a too high amount in the Card-Terminal. When I asked her about it she got very pissed and rude, since she just added a tip for herself without asking and got caught. I would have tipped her, but not in that way. The same happened to my friends who payed earlier that evening, but only noticed after. Kinda killed the good vibes.

Friendly bartenders that really go above and beyond, kooky but charming regulars, good stream of tourists and locals cycling in and out to banter with, good selection of craft and tap beers. Yup, love this place. Good alone or in groups. Very laid-back atmosphere. Just can get crowded at times when it’s that critical time of the night where everyone is getting seconds and thirds all at once like crazy Playlist mainstays: RHCP, modern Metallica, Radiohead and weird wail-alongs like Lemon Tree when it’s late

A nice pub with a large selection of beers as well as ciders and wines. The staff are very courteous, the music is rather hard rock to metal.

Very nice bar! We went there with some friends, Nicole our barmaid, was welcoming and really helpful. The other customers were really friendly and joined us for some good time. The service was quick and Nicole made some great drink recommendations.

This place made my day and my getaway to Wien. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable in beer. One of the bartenders is half Czech, great guy. They speak very good English as well. Good music (not loud), ... they played Tool and Foo Fighters, for example. The craft beers we had, both the Schalken Hoppy Lager and the Philosopher's homemade Stout were just awesome. Affordable prices (5,10 euro and 5, 60 respectively).

The waiter charged us 50€ too much. Sneaky trick. He asked us what we ordered at the end of the night and held out the machine. We tapped without looking, thinking we were paying for what we said we ordered. We only saw the next day that we were heavily overcharged (eg. I ended up paying 30€ for what was only supposed to be around 5-8€) absolutely disgusting treatment

Very friendly staff, and very polite. The atmosphere of the bar is quiet for a drink in the evening after all day trip is the best choice. Amazing beers

Great spot with at least 8 beers on tap (vom Fass). Bartender was energetic and the crowd of regulars at the bad made the whole place seem homey. Smoke is allowed, but we didn't see anyone chain smoking. Tunes were outstanding and wide ranging. Lots of people were singing along to themselves. Can't wait to go back.

Great pub, with brilliant staff, a superb selection of beer and a great atmosphere. We popped in for a quick drink and ended up staying all night!

During our trip in Vienna, we were desperately looking for an authentic bar. We could only locate flashy cocktail bars, but at the end of the evening we accidentally stumbled upon this pub. It is a cozy, real pub, serving excellent Ottakringer beers on tap. We had the best time here.

My girlfriend and I came across this place by chance and initially planned on having one or two, but ended up staying until closing time. Philip, the bartender was great and so friendly. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a drink at very reasonable prices.

Great place to grab a drink! Service was amazing and staff were lovely. We went back three times during our time in Vienna as we loved it so much. Student prices on a Tuesday but still cheap on other nights compared to other places in Vienna. Great beers and it’s close to the centre so easy to get to. Loved it! Chess board inside for anyone feeling intellectual ♟️

Originally I heard of the bar from the European Bar Guide and tried it out with a friend who was visiting Vienna. Good range of beers both on tap and in bottles at wallet-friendly prices.

The place is super cozy and you can have a great time as long as the bartender is not the girl. She is usually super rude with the costumers and gets mad if after a very bad service you don't tip her. The guy is super kind.

A place that feels like your local pub within an evening (even for a tourist like I was) Solid selection of spirits, great selection of beers. Professional barkeeps, but the biggest plus are the guests. Stumbled into a conversation with an consultant, an architecture student and a merchant navy officer Come in, wear a smile and have a bloody good time

A small pub with pretty good selection of beers, also barmen is pretty customer friendly. Try "Ottakringer rotes zwickl" if you haven't tried it yet. It's only found in some bars/restaurants. You can't buy it bottled in a supermarket.

Great bar to have a chill evening. The waiters are always very nice and they have a wide variety of different beers! Inside it's very cozy and they have board games if that's something you like.

This place rocks! Really nice establishment in downtown Vienna. A bit of an alternative slant and at the same time a bit of an urban-traditional slant. Friendly and forthcoming staff even when the place is packed with guests. Nice selection of beers. And there is outside seating (a blessing in the summer time). Highly recommended.

Exactly the kind of bar I like to visit. There is a wide range of drinks, good choice of craft beers, and the tables and little alcoves in the bar are made for talking to each other. There is great music, but at just the right volume so it doesn't interrupt an evening. Will visit again.

Do not go to this bar! Spent the weekend in Vienna and tried out several pubs. One waiter was extremely rude and kicked some of us out after we needed more time to order. Never seen such horrible service and simply careless staff. Plenty of better places nearby.

The bar had such comfortable atmosphere even the Friday evening. Waitress has perfect English and was so kind. The beer really tasty, one of the best I tried in Austria. Will come back next time!
