I
leave
a
lot
of
honest
reviews,
but
this
one
will
stick
with
me
for
a
while.
First
and
foremost,
Barry
the
Landlord
is
an
absolute
gentleman
(well,
he's
a
West
Ham
fan
so
I'm
probably
being
a
little
bit
generous
there).
But
right
from
the
moment
of
walking
in
he
was
welcoming,
friendly
and
just
down
to
earth.
He's
the
type
of
guy
that
if
he
wasn't
the
landlord,
you'd
still
happily
go
for
a
few
pints
with
him.
He
made
great
effort
to
converse
with
me,
which
was
fun
and
entertaining,
but
also
did
not
falter
in
ensuring
that
all
of
his
guests
were
looked
after
and
had
full
drinks.
The
crowd
when
I
entered
were
all
locals
watching
Football.
I
cannot
speak
German
(I'm
British),
but
this
did
not
matter,
they
were
happy
enough
to
speak
English
to
me
and
the
potential
language
barrier
just
wasn't
a
problem.
They
were
also
friendly,
engaging
and
did
not
make
me
feel
like
I
was
'in
their
pub'.
As
the
evening
progressed,
a
few
more
English
folk
arrived
and
I
think
they
felt
the
same
about
the
venue
as
I
did...
Welcomed
and
relaxed.
The
venue
provides
multiple
sports
(if
it's
on
TV,
Barry
can
probably
get
it
for
you),
and
has
a
dart
board.
I
had
4
pints
there
(approx.
€20,
so
not
expensive),
the
beer
was
cold,
fresh
and
refreshing,
and
Barry
also
did
a
shot
with
me
(which
he
offered
to
me
free
of
charge
-
Nice
one
mate
🙂).
I
cannot
say
that
the
free
shot
would
be
the
experience
of
everybody,
but
it
does
give
credit
to
him
and
shows
his
character.
The
focus
here
was
community,
fun
and
banter.
I
would
strongly
recommend
you
go
check
this
place
out,
whether
you're
an
ex-pat,
a
local
or
a
tourist.
I
ventured
to
a
few
pubs
in
Vienna
and
honestly
just
wish
I
had
found
this
one
first.
Services:
Currently
cash
only
but
may
have
a
card
option
soon.
Failing
that
there
is
an
ATM
three
minutes
walk
away.
To
my
knowledge
this
venue
does
not
do
food
(he
may
do,
I
didn't
ask)
but
there
are
a
wealth
of
eateries
in
the
local
vicinity,
so
do
not
let
this
detract
from
the
venue.
Not
a
run
of
the
mill
experience.
Greatly
appreciates
by
me.
And
time
I
feel
well
spent.
Good
job
Barry,
you
have
a
winning
recipe
here
and
next
time
I'm
in
Vienna
I
will
be
dropping
in
to
The
Tube
Station!
