We were there on a Saturday night in Corona times with curfew at 10pm. There was no entry fee and the security lady at the door was making sure that everyone getting in was complying with the 2G rule. Great lounge bar, good underground house music at low volume so you can talk to people, fairly priced drinks, amazing visuals on the walls, friendly staff… would definitely go back. Not exactly in the MuseumsQuartier but they certainly have balls ;)

DO NOT GO TO DONAU TECHNO Raffi the bartender was absolutely horrible to me and my friends. We ordered 3 single vodka sodas and he charged me for 3 double vodka sodas, I paid quickly and saw the price afterwards and asked why it’s was so high. He said that in Vienna all drinks are doubles. We drank them and only tasted soda. Cosidering the extreme amount of ice in the glass we should have tasted the vodka, but nothing. I asked if he was sure that there was 2 ounces of vodka in our drinks becuase we couldn’t taste it at all. He asked us to leave the bar and had the bouncer come and remove us and threatened to call the police. I’m a super friendly Canadian and was nothing but kind to the staff. I am appalled by this treatment and service, especially on a WEDNESDAY night. I paid 22€ for 3 soda waters, I cannot believe it. DO NNKT VIIST THIS CLUB IT IS A SCAM THEY WILL TREAT YOU HORRIBLY!!!!!!

Amazing place to spend the weekend nights! Music is amazing (techno with some progressive house and melodic techno variations). They also serve amazing hot dogs at quite cheap prices (4-5€). Only negative is that they take only cash payments below 25€...in 2024 it seems really anachronistic.

Amazing place! Great atmosphere and techno music. They have a small kitchen where you can buy delicious Hot Dogs. Price 5,20€ and amazin quality! They are big and more than enough. The staff is super friendly and nice, specially the security and the cooking guys. We enjoyed it! Important: bring Cash with you :)

This is a former synagogue turned into a techno bar. I do not appreciate the way this holy place has been desecrated butttt im a sinner and the music is so good, drinks are amazing, central location, i always make friends here and the creativity behind having hanging testicles on the ceiling is super entertaining!

The place is full of potential. Beautiful decoration, nice bar, and the smoking chambers are amazing. However, I went out to that place many times, and the music was always not connected to the atmosphere. E.g hard loud techno music when people are sitting in a few tables with a beer trying to talk. I wish they were trying to build some atmosphere with the right music, then people would come to this place also to dance a bit. Cause it could be one of the best dance bars in town.

The atmosphere is not so good, most of the people are seated. The person who collects the glasses doesn't care if your glass is half full, he just takes it away. Nothing extraordinary, if you like good techno and being able to express yourself. Don't go to this place.

No DJs on Mondays but still a good playlist. Georg the bartender was awesome, drinks were reasonable, vibe very chill and relaxed today, great place for a weeknight nightcap

This bar is pretty worthless. The music played was a distasteful brand of techno and the crowd isn’t cool at all. For posers only. If you’re looking for a Berlin-vibe bar you should keep looking.

Cheap cocktails, tasty hot dogs, cool atmosphere

It's a bar not a club that seems to get a lot of people confused. Good beer good music and the let's call it alternative decor is probably their biggest selling point. Not sure if they still have it but they used to have a hotdogstand inside of the bar.

Very good dj's, a cozy place with electronic/techno music and also very unusual design. Coctails and drinks aren't so expensive and taste really good. The music is not so loud. Really nice place.

I have been a guest to this club for 25 years or so. Thanks for those good years, DonauTechno, it's sad what has become of you - you are not a 5 star club anymore. Last friday one of my friends made a small joke to the doorman and this boy thought he must show his power and not let him in. after trying to convince him to let my friend in because we wanted to show the club to our guests from Malta, the doorman banned me from the club (supposedly because i was too loud outside). we all left and will never come again.

Never have I been to such a rude place. Finally got to order a drink after ppl just jump in. Asked for a Mai Tai. Bartender don't think heard me properly, and then came back with a glass of white wine. Told her that wasn't what I ordered, but wanted a Mai Tai. Expected me to pay for the wine I hadn't ordered, and when I refused said I won't be served there tonight . Said I was being rude. So basically had no other option but to leave as I want going to be served. Place itself looks cool, shame about the bar staff

Cool place We came at Thursday, and it wasn't a party, it was a regulatory bar with techno music. The variety of the cocktails was the basic one. We had great time there, recommended!

A nice place, maybe one of the only ones open in the middle of the week and has a young atmosphere.

Good techno music and okay prices for the place. No entrance fee and a bodyguard at the door. The furniture was scrappy but fuctional and the decor was amusing.

One of the nice clubs to spend time!

A hardcore techno space in a kinda warehouse. Not very easy to find with a fairly inconspicuous entrance. The inside is pretty spartan. The drinks seemed reasonable. The cable cars double up as smoking pods and personal spaces. Maybe it was the time, there was a very sparse crowd ( I went around 1030 pm). Overall, a must place for diehard techno/EDM fans, everyone else you may want to have a quick peak and then leave, like I did.

Went there during the week (19.11). There was only one waiter and he was not in a good condition. I can only assume he was pretty drunk. Was not a nice thing to watch :/

Awesome bar, really good music, drinks and service. As per other reviews look outside for the doorman, opposite the hotel.

Partly historical (jewish church) and partly industrial with great electronic music.

We wanted to go to the toilet together (two girls) just wanting to support each other. The bouncer (male) went into the toilet and told us to get out, because it’s house policy (i don‘t know where that house policy is displayed) that it‘s not allowed to go into one bathroom together.
