It's a pub like restaurant but the schnitzels we had were really tasty and soft, especially the chicken one!

This restaurant is so hidden! We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the vegetarian stir fry was. It is in fact the only vegetarian dish they have. The interior looks great, you feel like in a different world! Friendly service. Recommended!

Nice decor and courtyard, friendly staff who speak good english, its out the way but we ate early and was filled with Japanese tourists. Food was good we shared a platter with pork Schnitzel , ribs sausages etc. Surprised by the amontl of food at a touristy restaurant for the price. Tasted great.

The portion is generous and the price is affordable. The main dish and the sides are both delicious even better than the long queuing restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful as well. Even the time waiting for the food to be served was a bit long, it actually worth the wait and we couldn't finished all the potatoes under the ribs even they were amazing and we were starving. Highly recommended for people visiting Vienna.

Great hidden place. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff, which appears to be a rarity in Vienna. Food was good after a long day of walking and sightseeing. Would come back because they have ribs and we didn’t get to try them yet but they looked really good!

Discovered this place by accident when a restaurant we were planning to eat at weren't open for another hour. Entrance is a bit strange, down an alley-like hallway between buildings, but the interior was cosy and had a cluttered pub feel, in a good way. Not many people on a weekend 5pm which was surprising, and a heavy smell of cigarettes around the bar despite being a non-smoking establishment, but the food was served quick, tasted good and was reasonably-priced considering it's location. Would visit again for a quick and simple bite to eat!

Good Austrian food! This is tucked back a bit so it's easy to miss. The decor is fun although the restaurant feels cramped. We ate at an off peak time so although there were several groups they were somewhat spread out. I think it might be frustrating at peak times though as you would be close to the guests around you. Portions were large and our only big complaint was that we didn't have bigger stomachs.

We appreciate the local ambiance of the restaurant, it has this hidden garden. The staff was really nice with us For the food, we went for basic Schnitzel at 13.9€ which was really good value for money. Recommand the place highly! Bonus : You can even book on The Fork to get 20% off !

Was a busy day on New Year day. 5 stars for the ribs! Spicy, strong and finger-licking good! Big portion too. My wife had the boiled beef which was only so-so, or probably too bland for our taste ...

Literally hidden gem, it’s not very straight forward to find if not using Google maps. Atmosphere is great, not crowded, chill music, schnitzel is great(chicken > pork). Serving time is fast and staff is friendly. If you want to avoid crowded restaurants or queues, it is a great place to visit.

The service is extremely slow. Despite the fact, that the restaurant was half empty, we’ve been waiting for 30 minutes to order. Food is tasty, very traditional, portions are very big, but if you don’t have much time - look for another place. Restaurant is underground, with no windows.

Visited on 02/03/20. The atmosphere was very nice. Quiet with low lighting with mainstream chilling music. Our server was very polite and the dish really tasty. Maybe a bit more expensive than other options.

Authentic Austrian cuisine at affordable prices considering how central this place is. The beer was also very good and the staff exceptional. Hope to return.

Waiter was borderline friendly and attitude towards us. All started when we said we wanted tap water and he brought bottled water instead, when we mentioned that, he reacted with attitude. Then next thing is when he brought french fries which is separate menu item instead of our ordered fried potatoes and he insisted it is same :D This guy really thought we cant distinguish fried potatoes from french fries? Never mind. As small life lesson for him he received 0 tips.
