Great Australian pub, good food, tasty beer. Nothing to complain about! The pub quiz on Monday is particularly fun! Cards accepted.

Once upon a time, in this medieval tavern, my beloved lady found herself in a most unfortunate predicament. A glass, as delicate as a princess's tiara and as valuable as a dragon's hoard, decided to shatter in her hand, showering her in fine wine as if it were the kingdom's worst-kept secret. But alas, the serving wench, who seemed more interested in practicing her 'thousand-yard stare' than in any heroic deeds of customer service, paid no heed to our damsel in her grape-stained distress. Oh, how I longed for a time when servers were knights in shining aprons, ready to rescue a damsel in her wine-soaked distress! Alas, it seems we were stuck in a realm where shattered glass was just another chapter in the never-ending saga of tavern mishaps. Long story short, would not recommend. xoxo Sir Talkalot

We ended up here because my fiance thought he read "Austrian Pub", but we stayed because it sounded good. 😅 The waiters/waitresses all speak English, as expected. It was interesting to be in another country and see some customers have to struggle to order. I'm unsure if the employees know any other languages though! It turned out to be very tasty! I ordered the pulled pork, which the waitress told me didn't come with BBQ sauce. I paid an extra 1€ for a cup of BBQ and it was on there when I got it just like the menu listed!! My fiance got the farmer burger and he liked it. For drinks, we had the snake bite and they were delicious!

We usually go there for after-work drinks. It got some food deals and a beer happy hour from 5pm-6pm. The quality of the dishes is ok. There is smoking allowed inside which is a bit annoying. Card payment is possible. Staff has its ups&downs but usually they are attentive and friendly.

Don't go there on Mondays: Its Pubquiz time and they are extremely understaffed. Waited 50 minutes, aked 4 times at the bar if someone could go upstairs and serve us some drinks, because upstairs its bloody hot. Nobody came, we left.

I’m Australian and I’m telling you this is not what Australian pubs are like. I’m travelling Europe at the moment and haven’t been home in 2 months. I saw this place along my travels and decided that it would be really great to go to a pub where I felt like I was back at home. Wasn’t I wrong to assume the Australian pub was gonna feel like home. It was just Austrian 🇦🇹 vibes and not really Australian, I was the only Aussie in there actually :( Also in Australia very few people eat ostrich, crocodile and kangaroo.

Came to rest after a long day of walking, ended up having such a great time talking to the bartender and trying Australian beer. This is the place to chill after sightseeing.

Food (ostrich burger and Beyond burger) - amazing, well seasoned. Quite cheap. Nice drinks, array of possibilities, everybody will find sth. Definately worth visiting. Waiter was a little bit strange, but it might be just a worse day, I understand it 😊

The food was great, we had spare ribs and chicken wings. It was excellent. The staff was super nice and neat. We had a great evening.

The bar serves over-priced food and drinks. I ordered a burger that arrived cold and they seem to use frozen patties. The fries were admittedly tasty, but were served in a very small portion. The place is so loud, that hours after I left I still had ringing in my ears. Happy hour is literally one hour and quite stingy. Toilets were dirty with no paper towels to dry your hands. If this bar wasn't so pricey many of these things could be overlooked, but for a place that charges nearly 30 euros for a burger and two beers, I expect a lot better.

We were looking for a sports bar to watch an NFL Playoff game on a Saturday and this bar did not disappoint. We were walking around to bars several hours before the game and finally stumbled into this gem. The bartender told us what TV he could play the game on and reserved a couple bar stools for us. We left to take a nap and returned at game time (1030pm), our game was already on the TV and our barstools were available for us with a reservation tag. I can't speak to the food, as I only ordered fries, but even the fries came with a second basket of condiments. The bartender was very knowledgeable of the beers he was serving and had GREAT recommendations to suite each of our tastes... Keep in mind this was all on a BUSY Saturday night.

Ice cold medium burgers and warm beers. If you want to pay the bill you have to wait for an hour and ask at least 4 times. This was one of my favourite places before covid. But now it became one of the usual tourist traps in Vienna. Avoid it.

Atmosphere is nice. Friendly and funny waiters. Unfortunately the food (portion sizes, visuals, taste) is disappointing.

Simple interior, plenty of screens to watch Sky Sports, mostly male customers enjoying mostly beer (6 types roughly on draft). Food average, the French fries actually below.

Nice place with amazing service. Got the dip free with the fries for the first time in Austria. Felt like I could have been in any part of the world. A place definitely worth visiting.

A really nice pub when you can enjoy some Australian food (mostly meat burgers, steaks etc) and enjoy a football match. The atmosphere is nice, the guys from the pub are really nice and helpful. Highly recommended for hanging out with friends and watching sports.

The staff is very nice, huge selection of beer and drinks, food is quite good, but seems to be actually to much on the menu, dont order the nachos. Some of the guests how ever can be quite annoying, especially who let themselves being served, but then dont even tip 10 cent and show a weird "english attitude". always when paying by card mention to the guest that Tip is always possible and appreciated so they wont get away with no tipping wich is unpolite to the server in Austria. Tip at least 10% and rounding up. Nice australian vibe

Love this place! Really great atmosphere, and the food is excellent. I love the Australian theme. You can get a boot of beer. Where else do they serve you beer in a boot???? Love you Australia!

Pub as you would expect it. Has some decent beers and coders to choose from and nice yet rather pricy bar food. Amazing pub quiz on Mondays.

I'm not sure this place even needs a review because anyone who's been in Vienna even for a short time knows what a great place this is to grab a drink with friends or to watch a match. The excellent staff make it an authentic pub experience. Plus they have some great beers on tap and a good array of pub food on their menu. A must visit pub!

Great variety of beers and ciders, which were very exotic and tasty. Friendly authentic Australian service and cozy atmosphere.

Great Staff, great location, great food - and all of it for a fair price. Pluses definitely include their 3l Fosters Tower. An overall great experience, 5/5, will recommend.

We stepped by in the evening yesterday. The only place we could still have some snacks in Vienna ;) Great atmosphere and music that I love, Guns, Dire Straits and Oasis. Lovely place to hang out with friends, even on the no-game day:)

Coming here for 3 years, however yesterday the guy claiming to be 'the boss', over charged in 51€. I understand that there can be mistake of over charging a couple beers. But still we nicely talked to him to solve it and he, on a very disrespectful way and very bad manners made us pay this 50€. We new what was the mistake, they extra charged us 2 pitchers of beers and a few large beers, however he denied their mistake. The guys taking care of the tables are nice, the problem is this guy. Never coming back.

I’ve ordered spire ribs with French fries and it comes as a big portion. However it was extremely dry. I had to work hard to cut them with a knife. it was a dish not from the fire, but from the microwave. It doesn't feel like it's warmed up for the first time. After about a quarter of the way, I gave up and returned those chips to the kitchen. however, to my remark that they should not be pierced with a fork, the chef's answer was - they are dry on the outside, but soft inside. and there was no apology. So, here you can drink good Australian beer and wine, but I advise you to eat elsewhere

Mediocre food and wanted to move us inside “because other guests want to sit outside”. We had a reservation for the company outside especially for the pub quiz. Definitely overbooked.. won’t go there again. The guy placed the reserved sign when were already sitting..

Very nice pub, ideal to taste a good beer and a jummy club sandwich with family or friends, while watching a football match and/or listening to live music - depending on time/date. Relaxing, service managed by very nice and kind people.

Went there once for beers. Good selection of beers. Had my favourite Aussie beer coopers there!

Eh..waitress spilled a glass of beer on my husband and didn’t apologize kinda odd, also they never told us they were changing the keg to get our beer so we were waiting a while for drinks. Bus pub,food was fine, service iffy it is what it is.
