B-E-S-T place in vienna. Come and get it! Our “Go-to” restaurant in Wien. This is the only place with consistently good food, great service and amazing drinks. I send everyone here, including myself at least once a week 😉

Although the place is located in a very touristic location food and beer is good. A variety of food in the menu. Arrived in a weekend where the place was packed outside (22C) the day before Vienna marathon so I did not go. On Monday the place was pretty empty and sat inside as the weather was cooler. Pleasantly surprised for such a touristic place although I ordered the typical original veal schnitzel. The fries were not that nice though (it seems the same for many other places in Vienna, they look like thin frozen fries not properly cooked).

A fabulous evening. The best. Delicious traditional food, great service and very good wine. And Marek was exceptional. 6 stars out of 5! Every tourist must come here. :-)))

Came here after a recommendation for their lunch menus, left the place disappointed. The food was not more than average! Wiener schnitzel was mediocre with no marmalade, just a lemon on the side. The schnizel itself was okay, but was not as good as I excepted from a first district restaurant. The Burger my gf had was also quite alright but nothing more, sweet potato fries were good. The annoying part was when the check came, unexpected chargers were included, such as 0,8€ for a glass of tap water where they don't tell you it costs smth, also the bigger originally comes with potato fries/french fries we asked to change it to sweet potatoes, they both cost the same on the menu (3.1€) but they charged us 0.5€ for this change in the order?!?! Why? Outrages if you ask me (at least you can warn us in advance..) Also when asking for ketchup they bring you one lame tiny ketchup bag. The bbq sauce of the burger was not good. Overall, disappointed from the food and the unexpected charges, the waiter was nice though..

The food here was really good, very busy so the service was a bit slow, but not so slow that the food was cold. Drinks were good to got a local beer and a cocktail both were excellent.

A great place to dine if you're looking for a taste of Europe or for something familiar for those with a limited American palate. The atmosphere is charming in their large outdoor seating area AND is cozy in its more intimate indoor section. Sparky's was quite busy throughout the day we were in Vienna, but we quickly found a seat and were waited upon expediently. While the atmosphere was energetic and vibrant, it was never too loud. Our waiter went above and beyond with his service... it was exceptionally efficient, friendly, and satisfying for everyone in our party.

A very nice surprise to find this place on Tuesday with kitchen still open at 23, I believe is the only one in the area. Lovely traditional austrian dishes served by perfect Omar. I wll come back for sure!

We sat for beers here..to cool off a bit before continuing on. We chose local beers which were very good! Unfortunately they were not cold! Beers are supposed to be COLD! We also got sweet potato french fries which were super!

Don't be fooled by the name. Great Viennese fare and alternative selections. The wait staff are very personable and helpful. Don't be surprised if you are tempted to eat here multiple times.

Friendly service, delicious food, also good for kids! Viennese Cuisine, Schnitzel-suitable-for-children available, another good alternative for kids is Kaiserschmarrn. The food came really quickly. The waiter was most friendly with our children. Moreover, the prices are reasonable, not too expensive!

Just had drinks, good selection of beers and spirits. My partner had the gluhwine and said it was the best and far better than all the markets. Good atmosphere and nice to relax and chill.

The place was full and we were very lucky to find a table. The service is always great there. Last time I had a traditional schnitzel and this time I tried one of the burgers on their menu. The truth is I have tried better ones but it was not bad at all! The wine was very good. One of my friends had pumpkin soup and said that it was very delicious.

We found this place late at night after all other kitchens stopped serving food. We odered the original wiener schnitzel with potatoes which was delicious! Low prices, great food and friendly staff.

A good choice for some local food and beer. Right behind Stephansplatz center with a nice Austrian vibe. I got a schnitzel with some boiled potatoes on the side for 17€ and a beer for 3€. Food was alright but the potatoes needed more boiling. Service was also really friendly.

I ordered a Ceasar salad and surprisingly most of the plate was filled with cheese. I told the waiter that this is not okay that we barely found lettuce in it and he just brought another plate with lettuce. I noticed he was pissed off. Wienerschnitzel was delicious but when I ordered it, the waiter said do you want cranberry jam without mentioning that it is going to cost extra.

Cool bar but the mojito is just plain bad, pure alcohol (bring your own lime and sprite maybe then it will taste good). The sweet potato fries are great though

We were here for lunch and the food was very good. Prices of food and drink for the center of Vienna were nice - Käsespätzle 9.90 €, Wiener Schnitzel 15.90 €, Tafelspitz 16.90€. In the evening we came for a beer, the atmosphere was great. Staff was friendly and very fast.

I went there in the evening and all the waiters were so rude. I was drinking with my friends and they insisted that I had to buy something as well so I can sit there, even though there were many empty seats. My friends all ordered something and I was initially planning on sharing a drink with a friend. The way she told me was also very rude. It is so expensive as well, 8 euros for a cocktail that was basic qualitaty. Never again.

A great restaurant in town. Friendly staff and good, quick service. The food was excellent. We had schnitzel with boiled potatoes which was very tasty! Recommended and generally no need to pre-book.

A good spot to chill during late nights on weekends. Staffs are very attentive and friendly despite of the crowd. You will love the atmosphere that will give you a cool chill vibes. Price wise its reasonable too.

The staff was very nice! But the food was not that great. We had a burger and a salad and both were quite bland. But their homemade mango lemonade was reeeally good. The prices were good considering it is right in the Vienna's centre.

When you order 3 hot waters and lemon and get a charge for 9.30 euro. Tap water, 3 slices of lemon does not say a charge on the menu and/or notified by the server. I said to the server are you kidding me. He said no. Then proceeded to ask for a tip, and I said NO! Like really. Your schnitzel, potatoes, and fish were over salted as well, as I told you. I should have refused to pay the waters. Be careful and ask what you are charged for.

They know how to make schnitzel, that's all. Non-professional service, beef soup, don't risk it. It's just beef-flavored water, plus the meat inside was altered. I do not recommend!

Great place. Just a few steps away from the crowded main street, easy to find them. The staff was very kind, professional and provided a fast service. Also the food was delicious and rich. They have a great variety of drinks too especially whiskey. Would recommend.

Perfect place, great food, cheap for Vienna 1st district standards. The service personal is very sweet and friendly here. Perfect service. Lovely place. Toilets are clean and smell good! I recommend coming here. :)

Ate here a couple of times during our visit to Vienna. Great food, good portion sizes, really friendly helpful staff. Good choice of food and drink. Great value for money. Easy to find as it's across the square from the main entrance of the Cathedral, down one of the side streets. Very quirky inside, very clean and tidy. Toilets were downstairs and were immaculate. Looking forward to going back again on my next visit
