Terrible waitresse, she charge 10% tips without informing. She also have bad behaviour, and no smile. Don’t worry you will recognise who I’m talking about. Always ask for the receipt and verify it.

We visited this place today around 10pm to grab some drinks. The waitress was so rude with us and she was ignoring us. We understand the delays if the bar is busy, but we tried to order 3 times. We saw she was listening and watching us every time but she was ignoring us without saying any word, even with bad looking. Furthermore, we asked for food and she told us the kitchen was closed. Again, we understand that, but later we saw she was giving food to another customers. When we asked her about that, she told us that the kitchen was closed, "it is just olives". Maybe we also wanted olives ;), but she didn't give us the chance to order them. At the end, when we asked for the bill, we told her that we didn't want to pay the tip because of the bad service. Instead of that, she ignored us again and she tried to charge us the tip. She even took the credit card from our hands with bad manners when the pos was not working. Not recommended.

A fine place to have evening drink at. We had few drinks (aperol spritz, hugo) and a tea at this place and all solid. We did not eat anything here, so we cannot evaulate the food. The staff was friendly with no negatives exoeriences. Be aware that payment by card is possible only above 20 euros.

I was last sunday, particularly unfriendly service, a long wait we got cold noodles early on Sunday night, even though they were barely on the terrace. I ate tomato crab pasta, stomach cramps and diarrhea at night ... So I don't recommend it!

Ive never been ASKED FOR MORE OF A TIP by a waitress. I GAVE a tip!!!! And she asked me for MORE!!! The food was horrible. The waitress then turned to my bf and asked if he spoke German so that she could complain about me for questioning why she was asking for a tip, EVEN THOUGH SHE SPEAKS ENGLISH. NEVER GOING BACK.

Their outdoor seating looked very comfortable and inviting so we decided to sit and have a drink. It was a cold dreary day but they had the heaters on and was very nice and comfy. We had coffee and an aperol. Both were excellent. Service was very good too. The food looked good and hope to return to try some pasta.

Had a really awful experience here. Am travelling on my own and was made to feel like a real inconvenience. Jacqueline mixed up my bill with the next table and only rectified it when I mentioned i am travelling on business. There are loads of other cafes in the area- definitely try them first.

*Editing after response* * This review belongs to our visit on 1st of august. Not complaining about bubbles, just service. Btw Total price was 14,40€ for a bottle of water and a coke…so I think we paid for the bottle we didn’t drink. The receipt was expelled at 18:11 if you need to check.* Service in this bar can’t get worse. The waitress brought to the table sparkling water, when we ordered still water…okay nothing to worry about. However, the surprise came when she said she couldn’t change it since we already had a sip. (how could we know if it was sparkling if not) After being rude about charging us the water, she was blaming us for “not understanding english” when she said “sparkling” during a conversation we were having at the table. It was as if we had to feel sorry and pay two bottles! Unbelievable way of approaching a dispute with a client… Luckily the boss came and said there was no problem on changing the bottle. The final act came with the bill: 10€ the bottle of water and a sarcastic smile from our favourite waitress. Never comming back

Ruoka ihan hyvää, palvelu hiukan tylyä - loppua kohti lämpeni :) Maksoimme kortilla ja tarjoilija lisäsi kysymättä ja kertomatta 10% tipin vaikka ruokalistan ensimmäisellä sivulla luki, että tippi on vapaaehtoinen. Olisimme kyllä jättäneet tipin muutenkin, mutta tästä olisi kohteliasta kysyä.

Be careful. SCAM with aperol spritz. There are two prices: one Aperol spritz 6€ and aperol Venetian spritz (with prosseco) 7,2€. The waitress will charge you the most expensive one even if you ask for the cheapest one. To make matters worse, the aperol was watered down.

We went to try the famous Viennese coffee melange. The location is great. It's a good place to go.

It’s one of the best cafes in the downtown. Staff are very friendly and polite. The place is clean, quiet, and comfortable. I tried coffee Latte, Cappuccino, Flat white which they were all delicious. I really recommend the cafe. Prices are not the cheapest in the city; however it worths it. They have outside heating systems for the tables outside in winter.

Great decoration, poor staff, coffee melange was great, raw orange juice was ok, sacher torte just such as a chocolate cake.. D + G

Really good taste but the pasta had a bit of sandy taste, upon telling the staff, they took it off the check. Minestrone soup is a recommend.

Horribly unfriendly service. After seating ourselves (because we were constantly ignored), the waitress finally comes to the table and asks: “do you know what you want?” She simply turned her back and left when I said we hadn’t seen the menu yet. She returned a few minutes later, dropped the menu on the table and left again. That was a definite cue to leave immediately.

Great place to relax and enjoy lunch, the staff are excellent and really make you feel at home in this beautiful city, I recommend this place as a stop to enjoy and the food is wonderful.

Good thing: location of cafe is pretty central. Price for a cup of coffe is reasonable accordingly. Not good thing: They are not giving window side table to solo travelers . A man, looks like manager or something, said I am 1 person so I cannot take that table. Meanwhile the cafe area was pretty empty.

Good drinks and desserts. But the stuff could speak a little better English. The outside is much better than the inside.

I asked for a coffee take away, after waiter saw I want to pay cash, he told me 6€, and didn’t give me the check, throwing it to the basket with other checks. I looked at it, and the price was 5.5€. Also 5.5€ is super overprice for a coffee from the machine

Great food, place, service and atmosphere. Had Nicoise Salad, Olives and Bread with Artichokes on top. Delicious! Went back a second time and both times, everything was delicious!

The food was fine but the waiters were rude. We asked a waiter for a table for 5 persons he irritated pointed a table too who was reservated so we just sat somewhere the when we got to order he was still irritated and angered took our order so plz don’t go here

Service was OK. My husband ordered lasagna and it was cold. Sent it back and he got a new lasagna that was piping hot. Clearly the food is just reheated. I had a salad that really wasn't worth the money. My daughter said her pasta was quite good. Really not worth the money. Go somewhere else.

Worst place I have been in Vienna!!! Service is slow and unpolite. The waitress removed the plates and cups from the table and she did not wipe the table....crumbs all over the table. It took 15 minutes to take the order (the place was half empty) and after 10 extra minutes to serve us; we got a tea and a juice for my son. I asked for an earl grey tea and they brought me a green tea. When I said the order was wrong the waitress complained that I poured my tea in the cup - (Sorry if I did not see through the teapot!). They do not accept credit card below $20. The waitress told me I should have asked before ordering and she started shouting. This is the first review I have ever written in my life but I have been treated so badly that I really hope the place change management and service; people do not deserve poor treatment when they spent 15$ for a tea and juice. I need to give a start because the website does not allow me to write a review without giving at least a start!!!

Went a couple of weeks ago. Service was very bad and waiter was very rude. Also overpriced, which is to be expected.

I had visited this Cafe an hour ago, and in matter of fact, it is not a cheapest one I have visited around. But I was impressed mostly of the kind waitress which served us quickly in the busiest hours for the place. Drinks were fine,location top, seats comfortable. I would come back to try the kitchen and would rate again. So far...good job

I was on a touristic trip these days in Vienna when came upon the place. It is nice and cosy, the staff very friendly, I tried pasta, it was perfect. The location is also great, so I recommend.

The lovely looking place to sit outside and enjoy a light food in the center of Vienna, but service is not good, food is average and portion ( aka spagetti pesto) is small for the price. Tips are added on the bill without asking (😳) and the grilled veggies is nothing mote than eggplants and tomatoes, onions in vinegar... Just a glass of Lambrusko was great.💯 Otherwise, not vote for this place 👎

There were 2 kinds of exactly the same white wine on the menu, the other one had just “johann” in it. We specifically ordered and showed the other one, however the waitress brought us the johann one and charged extra 1.50 per glass plus started demanding for a tip and I said 0.50. Later I discovered she charged 1.50. It’s not about money it’s just about honesty and dignity. A person should have respect for him/herself. You should be ashamed that so many ppl complain and you don’t take care of the situation. Not recommended, never visit the place.

The stuff is super rude. We asked about Hot chocolate and the waitress immediately started to scream at us and then even said to us that she can even refuse to serve us. Then she gave us the menu and left. The thing was that she had full hands when we asked her, but that doesn't explain why she was so extremely rude. Never experienced something like that.
