This is such a hidden gem!!! I discovered this restaurant by chance and it is simply perfect! The owner (=Carlo) and all the service people are so friendly, attentive, and cheerful! What else would you anticipate? The food is fantastic! They do not have aubergine on their menu, so I asked, and they can just make it! The dessert and the espresso are also hitting the sweet spot. Lovely! Last, as a cycling fan, their deco with jerseys from the Giro and the Tour are 100% unbeatable!! Highly recommended! Bonus: it is my first restaurant visit since the last lockdown in winter; and today is the opening game of EURO 2020 (2021); all make tonight memorable and enjoyable!

I went there two times at this restaurant, once for lunch when I had the steak and the second time for dinner when I got pasta. The first time, the owner got my order wrong, I wanted the sedanini but somehow he understood something else, so I ended up with steak. I didn’t complain and it was very well prepared, but I am not in general a meat lover, so I left the restaurant a bit disappointed. Make sure you articulate yourself well when ordering so this doesn’t happen to you. I gave the restaurant another chance and the second time there were no incidents and I got the pasta I wanted. It was amazing, the pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce and presentation were excellent. After the pasta I also got the lemon dessert which had the most amazing cream, if you are a lemon dessert lover this is definitely the thing for you. Overall this is a great restaurant and if I were to live in Vienna I would certainly go there for dinner regularly.

I visited this restaurant for dinner. I was greeted promptly and felt as a welcome customer. The place is nicely decorated, great ambiance, with a live atmosphere. Service is very attentive, cordial, and professional. Great selection of wine. The bread served upon seating tasted as freshly baked. For starter i had the Roasted Scallops with Poppy Seed Crust in a Coconut Milk Sauce; fresh and tasty dish. For main course i chose the Risotto with Shrimp blended with a Limoncello foam; well balanced flavors, with a very subtle lemon taste. For Dessert, the Warm Chocolate Souffle with Citrus Vanilla Sauce; yummy!.. a great ending to a great meal. All dishes served were nicely presented. Definitely i recommend this restaurant and i will return.

This is by far one of the best Italian restaurant we have tried outside Italy over years we have travelled in Europe! The food/ staff/ atmosphere and our entire experience from making the reservation to leaving the restaurant was absolutely fantastic and memorable! If visiting Vienna this is one of the must restaurant to visit!

The fish soup is absolute delicious! All in all great food and services, definitely a hidden gem in city center!

I love this place! Love Carlo! The steak perfect - the dessert: settle for the cheese plate - you won’t be disappointed ! My place to be for dinner and date nights. Food is amazing, the people amazing. A plus if you can speak Italian - 🙂 convinced me to speak Italian just to get conversing with these wonderful people!

We booked almost 3 months in advance because the reviews were so good. Everything was delicious and amazing. We shared several dishes so that we could sample a variety of menu items. Each pasta was perfectly al dente and so flavorful with just a few ingredients.

I recommend everyone reading to come here. This restaurant offers the service of a 5 star place, at the price of a regular dinner. It seems to be run by Italians, who take care of you like their own children. Coats are taken from your back. Not a minute after you finish with a plate or cup, that they take it away and get you a clean dish. Every detail is noticed by the main waiter (I believe the owner). Food was served fresh and quickly. The only complaint is the mushroom in my pasta was absolutely revolting to me, but that is my opinion.

Can’t give enough stars for this place because of its authenticity, service and delicious food. Best Italian I’ve had outside of Italia. I try to eat here every time I come to Vienna. Si mangia bene qui.

A fantastic, authentic Italian restaurant. The waiter was the kindest man I've ran into, the dishes were spectacular and SO unique!! I had the Ravioli and it was beautifully served but the bread really stole the show for me. It's handmade, and each day they make a new spread for it - for me it was potatoes, calamari & zucchini. It was one of the best things I've ever tasted. Loved this place and will definitely be back if I'm ever back to Vienna

A wonderful authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Vienna. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was outstanding and friendly. I ordered the Frutti Di Mare dish (one of my favorites), and it was a large portion with fresh seafood and delicious savory sauce. Drinks and dessert were also fantastic. The owner also offered us a Limoncello shot after we finished our Sambuca, so we certainly enjoyed our drinks!

Wonderful food, great service, and a very joyful and entertaining host named Carlo. What a great restaurant! Suggest making a reservation as it was completely booked.

An amazing, upscale, authentic Italian Restaurant in city center Vienna. The food was delicious. The service was superb. The prices very reasonable given the quality of the dining experience! The proprietor was very fun with a great sense of humor. Our waiter was attentive and very helpful.

Great meals with very lovely and welcoming atmosphere, the staff here are incredible and down to earth. I had seafood pasta and i can say it’s one of the best I’ve ever had.

Best Italian food we have ate in entire Europe. Best is the truffle pasta.

We were vegetarian so we didn't have many options. Ordered the salad with the strawberries and it was amazing!!! Absolutely phenomenal. Such a beautiful blend of flavours. After that we ordered the zucchini pasta and the mozzarella ravioli with pesto. The ravioli was pretty darn good, but the zucchini was very bland. When we complained they immediately gave us a different dish- the gnocchi, free of charge. It ended up being amazing All in all the food was amazing and the service was exceptional

I took the spinach pasta with gamberi and it was delicious. Sadly they got my boyfriend's order wrong twice and they botched his main meal a little when they redid it. But they offered us a free dessert and they were very kind. It was a very good quality price too, i was extremely satisfied! The appetizers were very tasty too!

The food and the service has been incredible. And I have truly felt that their main priority was to give us an enjoyable experience, not to make money. The suggestions for the food and the complementing wine have been on point as well!

The manager was rude, the food was below mediocre and the whole experience was terrible. Wanted to share the pasta wasn’t great, not sure who made the previous reviews but not worth it. The rest of the dishes were really terrible. Manager tried to make it up by bringing some lame garlic bread with no garlic… Not sure what to say more, but wouldn’t recommend to anyone at all. I have to add that the friendliness is what is missing. Italians are known for their great service and food, and you got none but bad attitude. Your answer is terrible

Went here for dinner with a recommendation from our Concierge. Everything from cocktails to wine and dinner and dessert was well presented and tasty. Service was great and the owner pays attention to you as well. If you are looking for a great Italian meal in Vienna, I would highly recommend this place

Lovely elegant Italian Resturant a few minutes from Stephansdom. The food was perfect so was the kind service. The whole staff from owner to the last one is Italian. For me this gets extra points.

Had a great time here; courgette pasta was very tasty and good value, wine was also good value. Staff were friendly and there was a lovely bustling atmosphere, you can tell it’s a popular place!

We came here with a lot of expectations for our anniversary celebration based on the reviews on Google. Unfortunately the entire experience was mediocre at best. We had a steak/ sliced meat dish and a spaghetti dish with chanterelle and prawns. Both were underwhelming, bland, uninspired. Presentation of the food was even messy and a tad bit careless, but I might be nitpicking. The wine selection was probably the best thing of the night, but nothing out of the ordinary. Service wasn’t bad per se, but not as attentive and welcoming as we expected. Perhaps if we came with no expectations this review wouldn’t be so bad, but with the hype from previous customers and the meal falling on our anniversary date it was a disappointment. Wouldn’t recommend.
