The quality of the food was excellent and we were really full. It was big portion food. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. The restaurant environment was calm and very pleasant. The soup tasted good, but because it was completely mixed, it was not my favorite. There was a model of sauce next to the kebab, which was a mixture of garlic and yogurt, it was very tasty.

(July 2022) The restaurant is quite large, the vibe is pleasant and the music is in keeping with the restaurant. The food was delicious, I ordered “Sophia Plate" which contained four types of meat - chicken fillet, gyros, pork steak and pork fillet. I’m not able to choose which one of these tasted the best - all of them were perfectly grilled, well seasoned. I only can say that the steak was juicy and tender, the chicken tasted excellent, gyros - palatable, and pork fillet was also fine, however, not my tastes. It all was served with tomato rice, fried potatoes and tzatziki (I highly recommend trying them all). For dessert, I tried the chocolate cake, it was pretty sweet, perfect to end a meal. The service was attentive and kind, the prices appropriate for the quality. All in all, everything tasted better than I expected, I consider this restaurant to be one of the best I have visited so far. It’s a great place for everyone to spend time with family, friends or even alone and enjoy the Greek specialties. I’m looking forward to visit you again!

I recently dined at this Greek restaurant and I must say, it was an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the grilled fish which was cooked to perfection. Went here for our New Year’s eve and our time here really made our New Year a memorable one. The food is so good and the staffs here are overly friendly. We got greeted from people who dont even serve us. Food: We odered the Kreta which has a lot of food with 2 legit lamp chops (and tons of other meat) cooked to medium rare perfection. I also ordered the island plate for myself not expecting much since I thought it was just some deep fried calamari like what we usually have in America - barely any real calamari and very oily. Man oh man I couldnt be so wrong. IT’S SO GOOD. It’s REAL FRESH BIG JUICY calamari that you can taste the sweetness in the meat. Very little flour coating so that you can taste every chew of the meat. The batter outside is heaven. They actually season the coating. It’s so garlicky and not too salty. AND THE PRAWNS THAT CAME WITH IT omg thats probably the best thing of my meal. So tender, fresh and garlicky which I loveeee. Will def come back next time we are in Vienna. It is one of those restaurants where you go with all the pleasure in the world! and where they will remember your face the next time you visit, and you will feel like a "regular". Not only is the food delicious and everything is fresh, but the service is excellent and sincere (rare in Vienna) and you can feel that the people working there love what they do and are happy to receive diners. Without any plans, we were close by and decided to try this restaurant, and of course, the reviews were very positive. What a great decision! we will definitely repeat.

We were here yesterday. Such a friendly people, proper Greek food and nice service! Mixed grill plate was a huge portion and meat was cooked exactly how we wanted. Mousakka was the one of the best we ve ever eaten. Place is also looking good and very cozy. So nice to find some real Greek food in Vienna like this. Definitely will visit again!

Rally nice patio and inside dining room. Extensive menu. Delicious food at reasonable prices. Server was very friendly. It appeared to be a local favorite and many customers arrived and greeted the manager as If they’re were friends. Love this place and would go back.

Never made it a point to have Greek food before, but I can’t imagine the experience being better than this. Always happy to have super friendly service in English (including the menu) and the food was outstanding. The garlic soup was creamy and delicious, as was my wife’s grilled cheese starter with garlic bread. Our mains (fried prawns and calaramari, and gyros) were all really well done. Loved the little scoop of mashed potatoes, which was flavoured in some delicious way that really piqued my interest. Dessert was the smoothest chocolate cake ever. We may bring the kids just to have that. Great first visit and we will certainly be back!

We had a great birthday meal at Ariston. Really delicious and affordable food and drink, with large portions - very meat heavy for the meat eaters, but also a good choice of vegetarian options. The service was super friendly and very accommodating for our large group (20 tourists!), who were very flexible about our booking. They also provided birthday dessert for one of our party, which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed my experience and all the food I had was SO GOOD! 🤩 I am definitely coming back. The team was also a highlight, super nice and extremely available. The atmosphere is also very cool, you feel like you are on vacation. 😊 ah, and try the moussaka! 😋 You will not regret it.

In Vienna on Christmas day and most if not all restaurants are closed for the holiday. I stumbled upon Ariston Hellenic via Google maps and asked my hotel to help make reservations for me. I usually get my Greek food fix in Astoria, Queens so I can say Ariston Hellenic is legit! Food is absolutely delicious and service is impeccable. Owner is very friendly as well. Come here for a great unforgettable Greek meal! ευχαριστώ!

And today we decided to visit the restaurant before lockdown. On both our first and second trips to this restaurant, the food was very good and the waiter was very kind.

Ariston is the best restaurant in Vienna!! We have been there on Christmas Day and we had a great time! The food was amazing, the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very cozy. Also, the prices were very reasonable. I absolutely recommend it.

Elegant and comfortable place to have a traditional Greek meal either for lunch or dinner, or with your partner or some friends. Service is professional, fast and attentive staff and prices are fair for the quality and portions they offer. I’d strongly recommend the option to share between two people. Quality was outstanding and the variety of products allows one to have a taste of many things. Tzatziki was truly creamy and soft. Will definitely go again.

To be honest, the best Greek restaurant I ve ever visited. Great vine, outstunning Gyros and very friendly staff. Also pricing is good. The location is quiet and has a huge green tree (without pigeons;)). We will definitely return!!

We've decided to try this restaurant based on the reviews. An excellent decision. The food was the best we've eaten in a long time. Not just Greek, any food! The starters - eggplant au gratin with tomato sauce - was sublime. And the mains were formidable as well. The moussaka just melted in your mouth and the mixed plate Ariston could not be faulted. This is certainly a restaurant that we will visit the next time we visit Wien. Not the least for the very friendly staff!

Food was exactly what I wanted, I tried multiple things. Wine was good, price range is good, staff was friendly and food was served surprisingly fast, in my opinion. We reserved a table and I recommend doing so, it was quite busy in the restaurant. It's very rare for me to have a 5/5 restaurant experience, but here I got one.
