Pars was introduced to us by our lovely Iranian friends to try out some Persian delicacies. Loved the place for the atmosphere, colors, cutlery and service. They had an elaborate menu and there were quite some original vegetarian offerings. Right from the mezze till the dessert and Chai, the food and the experience was absolutely wonderful. • Loved the variation & flavors in the mezze (mostly all vegetarian). • Djudje Kebab: The meat prep was perfectly cooked, and paired well with the buttered rice. • Doogh (ayran drink) was served in a hearty portion, balancing all the flavors of the food. • Scholezard: The dessert was generous & the perfect end to the meal. It was truly an experience to cherish!

I love the interior design of this restaurant. One can really feel like in Iran. Big portions are also a big plus, you can be sure you will not leave a restaurant being hungry. I lowered my rating for Pars to 3 stars because of the staff. The waiters are not very polite. I didn’t experience any rudeness but we didn’t feel welcome. I think a customer should feel welcome when going to a restaurant. Restaurants should be happy to have customers. I didn’t have such impression at Pars. I think Pars has to work on it more in order to attract more customers. Iranians are known for their hospitality and I experienced it by myself, but somehow Pars doesn’t keep it up.

What an experience!!! I wanted to show my family what Iranian food is like and this restaurant exceeded my expectations! The service was very kind, the food was heavenly, especially the appetizer platter (we got one for 2 but it can fill 3 people easily). I felt just like in Iran again. The food is priced fairly especially given the large portions. The tea at the end is served nicely with a date on the side and costs only 1.5 EUR pp. The interior is stunning. Felt welcomed and respected. The location is right on the main locations and a nice Persian supermarket across the street you should visit. Will come again.

On Saturdays Pars serves tahchin. A special rice dish with crisped edges, tasty barberries and chick. A lamb version is also available. Service was really fast and our waiter was nice BUT…. So our friends and I put equal amounts on the table. Expecting the correct change but we were short changed €10 in a shady move by the waiter. Three of the four of us were Persian and very insulted by this. There are too many choices in Vienna now for Persian food. The food was ok and not great and the silliness about the money means we won’t be back.

I loved everything from the entry, where we took a plate of everything until the main dish which was a unique flavor mix with pomegranate and chicken. The waiters were nice, but a bit quiet and the place was a bit loud (could have been as well a large table that was in our back).
