The chef who appears to be Taiwanese is unfortunately very rude. We just happened to take a bit longer to look at the menu to decide what we want to order and there was no other guest except one that already ordered by the time we entered. While we were looking at the menu, the chef told us very abruptly and impolitely to go elsewhere to find sushis that involve ingredients other than the basic salmon and tuna, i.e. the only type of sushi offered there. I cannot imagine how a chef with such a bad temper can make any tasty food.

Very authentic Japanese sushi place. The owner speaks Japanese. Very small but also clean . The sushi is amazingly fresh and superbly prepared. I had the chirashi. The rice is Osaka style and the fish is simply amazing. This is for a quick bite, in and out. But perfect.

Small and cozy Sushi place - like the sushi bars in Japan. Serves very good quality sushi and sashimi. They served generous fish pieces covering over the sushi rices with wasabi in between - just like in Japan or proper Japanese restaurants. Free self-service Japanese tea on the corner. This is not a place to linger long. Just eat and go, or for take-aways. Highly recommended.

The fish selection is not big but everything we ordered was super fresh and tasty. Sometimes simple is best! Best sushi so far in Vienna. The shop closes quite early in the evening but it’s worth it to make the time. There’s no toilet but you can use the facility at Naschmarkt across the street.

Quite good standard version of sushi. No card payments though.

Always my favourite sushi place to visit when I am in Vienna. Japanese staff, fast, tasty sushi in traditional styles at a very reasonable price.

I took salmon sushi and maki. The best I've ever tried in my entire life. You really taste the difference between this original kojiro and the other 2.

affordable and fresh sushi well-executed. they only offer the basic fishes such as salmon, tuna, flounder, and mackerel so there’s no uni or hotate available. They have self-service refillable hot barley tea as well which is nice. There are only a couple of seats inside so during busy hours you may need to takeaway. No washrooms unfortunately.

WOW!!!! Don’t let the exterior fool you. It might seem very unassuming, but this small restaurant was absolutely top notch quality sushi!!! I shared the Party Set 4 with my mother and we could not stop remarking how perfectly buttery and delicious each piece of fish tasted. A truly unexpected but wonderful experience!

Definitely the best sushi I've tried in Europe. Good, fresh and authentic for a good price. The place is small but with a nice atmosphere, Kojiro 2 has more tables and is just around the corner, with the same amazing quality.

Just peeking through the window and you know this place is all and just about sushi. We had the Party 1 platter which was perfect for two. We highly recommend!

Great price to quality ratio! The sushi itself is quite tasty.

Super small sushi place which is one of the best in Vienna. They serve fresh and tasty sushi as well as free tea. I highly recommend the kojiro special, the big sushi set and the inari makimono set. When you're lucky you can snag the spot at the window ✨

Tiny little place, for only few people, but exquisite sushi. Best in town, made by japaneese cook

Definitely the best Sushi I ever had. If you find yourself in Vienna you should definitely come eat here. Authentic sushi restaurant both in terms of the kind of sushi they make and how the place looks and is set up. The prices were also very affordable which was a nice surprise considering the quality of the food. Can't praise it enough, it really made my day!

Amazing authentic Japenese sushi made to order with good quality fish! And all that for a more than reasonable price!

Very good sushi! The experience and atmosphere is very authentically Japanese... Apart from the Viennese accent of course😉

Definitely worth more than its price! All sushi prepared fresh by hand! Great authentic Japanese taste with proper treatment to each piece of fish! Highly recommend! It’s really hard to find this quality of authentic Japanese sushi at this price point!
