Great food and selection! Friendly and fast staff. A little bit sterile, but it's matching the location in the design tower.

In terms of steaks & co. it's 4 stars. All sides tasted really great, steak was very tender but I asked for medium well and it was drowning in blood so in these terms my expectations weren't met. The reason for 3 stars is probably the service, except for the welcoming guy, the staff doesn't speak to you or smile.. it's unusual for us coming from different backgrounds, we experienced different customer service. I wish for our whole stay someone would have asked us how we liked everything - because I could've had the chance to tell them (that my steak was bloody and) we didn't like either of the dessert. Neither of them were even sweet, or in any way remarkable and well.. they cost us 20€ .. it was a bitter end for our visit. Also when leaving (with a small tip) we didn't get a thank you or goodbye. Definitely no harsh feelings but next time i'll probably spend the 120€ somewhere else...

We‘ve been to the El Gaucho on several occasions with the company, so pricing is not really considered in this review. As for the rest, the service has always been great and courteous while the food has been delivered quickly, even for a large group, and was good. I especially liked their Asian Steak Tartare last time, as it gives a good twist to an old classic. Overall a very pleasant place to enjoy a delicious steak.

Visited unplanned and got a great service ideal for 4 steak lovers. the waiter recommended a plate with 3 pounds of three different steaks: dry, rum and filet. great evening: steak, cocktails, service, sides etc. - awesome

Undoubtedly, the establishment is excessively priced. The 200 euros spent for a meal for two (even excluding alcohol)featuring a T-bone steak priced at 13 euros per 100g, could have been better utilized on a trip to Spain for a far superior dining experience. Regrettably, the starters were lacking in taste, although I concede that the T-bone steak provided some enjoyment. Nevertheless, our waiter demonstrated deficient communication skills and unfriendliness, never proactively checking on the food but checked out clothes and our outfit, some Yugo guy that seems not being happy working there. In contrast, my experiences at Rochus have consistently delivered superior service and dishes. The ambiance at this costly steak place falls short, particularly when seated in the front near the garden – resembling a corridor next to the elevators. Adding to the inconvenience, the toilets are situated downstairs by the lift, necessitating a code for access. The staff directed me there without furnishing the required code. Overall, the encounter was disheartening, and I have no intention of returning. The service was lacking, and the elevated prices are unjustifiable for the quality of the food. In general, opting for a flight to Spain, enjoying dinner there, would not only be a more cost-effective choice but also a superior dining experience compared to this place, which seems like a rip-off trap. While some people in Vienna might accept being taken advantage of, I certainly do not, especially considering the various comments I've read that still I can not believe we been in same place!

What a place! The best Argentinian Restaurant in Vienna. Everything here is top level, the taste is amazing! I never thought that I would experience such an Argentinian taste anywhere outside Argentina but this guys did it! The quality is extremely high and the price is accessible. Highly recommended! Great steak! Very good value. The service was polite, informed and very helpful. The assortment of wines is okay. The meat was very good, on point, a great steak. They have different sauces as well. The place looks modern, well kept and it’s located in a nice area. Great place 👍.

Perfect place for lunch. We tried Burgers and they was really good. I like the side salad and a small desert, not to sweet and with fresh fruits. Highly recommend 🧡

Really good meet. It’s not cheap, but to taste a good food with lovely gathered wine card costs it’s money.

They will happily sell you a chuck-eye as a rib-eye for 60€. Once they do give you the right cut after complaining about ripping you off the food will be quite good though.

One of the best steak house in Vienna. Exceptional meat , well cooked and tender. Good service and reasonable prices. Found that hidden jewel on my last business trip to Vienna. Highly recommended!

Nice place, very good service. I'd give them 3 and a half stars really. Food is good, my meat was a bit dry. Veggies (side) were delicious and wine is pricey (don't know the usual prices in Austria) The overall dinner was around 50€/person for 1 main course with the side and 2 glasses of wine...a bit expensive on my view. But again, don't know well the restaurant prices in the country 🤷🏻‍♂️

The Food is very good. The steaks are juicy. Only one issue (for improvement) the knifes for steaks are sooo dull :( for steaks it’s very important.

I love the atmosphere there, the service is very good especially for Vienna standard. Price point is also very acceptable especially for the quality, portion and considering it is in Vienna. Called ahead for table reservation and the call was very nice and pleasant. The wait for the food was not long at all. There is a welcome snack from the kitchen. The summer beef tartar with quail egg and truffle is very well balanced with great presentation. The 400g rib eye is cooked to perfection, medium rare. Good meat quality with great beef flavor. Side dish is not over priced. Steak fries are crispy, the corn pocket is a little sweet and not what I expected but all in all didn't effect the experience. I was expecting something made with corn flour similar to tamales. Oh they forgot my friends salad, but it happens and the apologized and brought it very quickly. The lamb portion was a bit small but it is a bit cheaper than the steak so it wasn't that bad. The chocolate cake with strawberry ice cream and strawberries was also great. Unfortunately, I didn't get the photos, as it wasn't my food, it feels rude to stop a friend from eating and take a picture of their food. Haha Highly recommend. Over all very pleasant dining experience, especially in Vienna.

Probably one of the best steaks in the city. You can order it exactly how you like it and with as many sides as you want. Prices are very reasonable especially considering the high quality of the food. I was upset at first to be seated directly next to the door despite having reserved a table one month prior but then I was grateful because it was extremely hot in the restaurant. Definitely wear a t-shirt lol. Not recommended for vegans or vegetarians obviously

Meat taste great. However, it arrived undercooked: we ordered medium rare, and the center was still raw for over 2cm. Had to send it back to the kitchen, and it came back slightly overcooked. Pitty, for a steak restaurant…!!!! Meat still tasted great, quality seems to be present. Service was ok, but not optimal either.

Maybe it's not fair enough to rate a restaurant without actually having the chance of tasting a great dinner but I feel like the overall experience should matter in the end. I did not have a reservation but it was 5 PM and 75% of the tables were free. Since it's less likely that all the customers having a reservation to actually appear at 6 PM as claimed by the bored girls from reception not willing to make the minimum effort to find us a table, I had to leave. In the end nobody gained anything. And the answer from the restaurant will naturally be that you should actually reserve a table in advance and everything should be smooth for you. Some flexibility won't hurt sometimes.

Reservation process was nice, the lady showing us the table was sweet and the meat was really good. Sadly, the rest was sad. I felt like our waiters didn’t really care or were too busy. I couldn’t tell. I had to ask for everything. I think I expected a high class place where the staff makes sure you got everything you like. Maybe I assumed that from the price range? Would not come again even though I really liked the steak.

Great. Located directly in S/O Vienna, it brings along the typical steak house vibe and some excellent food. The lunch box is a nice choice, the food was great and so was the service. Vienna is never on the cheap end, though — two people on lunch menu, a soda and beer for each of us as well as an extra soup ordered.. and you’re looking at Euro 50 missing from your pocket. Quite something for a simple lunch.

One of my favourite Steak places. Beef Tartar "Surf and Durf". Steak was on point. Service fast, friendly and attentive. Card payment possible. You can come here for a date or also as a bigger group. Reservation is recommended.

Excellent steak restaurant! Had the Ribeye steak it was delicious, an improvement for their consideration could be, to bring sauce in addition to the steak, extra charge for sauces is for me not okay (the steak is expensive enough, you can add a small plate of sauce). French fries could also be improved, and come with ketchup on the side (ketchup is 2€). Tiramisu was good. Service was good, A recommendation for the people who might visit, try the Malbec wine together with your meal, absolutely a must.

The tenderloin steak was perfectly cooked. The flavour was just right, and it was not too strong. Make sure you pre-book the place to avoid disappointment
