The restaurant has a cute outside area surrounded by flower pots, the atmosphere is very pleasant. The Georgian salad was delicious and consisted of fresh ingredients and the Samovar was a fun experience. The staff were nice and quickly served us. Would definitely come again!

5+ out of 5! We ordered a beef tartar and a khachapuri (the "closed" or "Imeruli" version) as starters, and both dishes were incredibly delicious. For my main dish, I had Kwerebi - dumplings with cheese - it was fantastic! I also tried a piece of khinkali from my companion and it was very tasty with a rich broth. It was a pleasure to enjoy such delicious food and a glass of Saperavi wine. Instead of dessert, we had a Negroni cocktail, which was expertly made. I would like to give a big thank you to all the staff who made our evening such a great dining experience. 👍🏻

My most disappointing experience at this place was when, after my partner and I had placed our order, the waiter rudely commented, "Are you sure you want to eat so much food?" I was taken aback by his remark. When we finished our meal, he added, "Wow, you guys really ate a lot." I couldn’t believe what I heard. While the food is ok, the restaurant doesn't seem to be really Georgian. They offer only a limited selection of Georgian dishes that lack the authentic taste.

A charming café with quality coffee and food. We tried the Georgian breakfast as well as tomato omelet. Both were good but the Georgian breakfast was a unique experience and very much recommended.

Good breakfast, great location, the coffee is ok. We tried the georgian breakfast and the oriental breakfast. I definitely recomand them. Even though they look small is more then enough, is consistent. :)

Great place with authentic Georgian cuisine. Was wishing to try traditional khinkali for a long time, didn’t expect to do it in Viena:) the taste was amazing, exactly like other people were describing the authentic experience. The staf was also very friendly and fast, and the food was ready in no time.

Cafe Ansari in Vienna is a 5 star restaurant for sure. The staff was very nice and just attentive enough. The place looked amazing on the inside, and the outside seating filled up very fast. I do hate the smell of smoke while I eat, but that's Europe. The entree menu was simple, and all choices were good with a minimal serving size. Some items you have to order a side separately. The polenta was delicious. Drinks were good, and service was fast. We enjoyed our meal.

So, let me just quickly share that I have been coming here for years. The service has become worse over the years. One of the typical Viennese places where the customer is not the king and they make you feel that you are nobody. I visited it now for the very last time. We had breakfast with a friend of mine. I was not too hungry and I am on a fat free diet. I ordered soft boiled egg. According to the menu it comes with butter toasted bread. I did not want so much fat so I asked if we could switch that to normal toast and just some butter on the side. Without even checking with anyone, the waitress said that it will be extra - in Vienna it means they will charge you extra. So, I showed her the calculation. “So, you tell me that if I do not want the toast with already butter on it and I just want to ask for the bread and butter separately then you charge me extra? I literally ask the same, just do not add the butter before you bring it to me”. She got upset and told me “Yes, it is extra.” So, I had one stupid egg for 3,90 EUR!! And bread and butter extra for 2,5 EUR! This is outrageous and also the attitude is so bad! I surely hope that one day they understand that they live from customers and simple switching the bread is nothing compared to losing business.

I left Vienna and I'm still thinking about this place. Book in advance! Went for brunch around 11:30, which is the perfect time because you can order from both the brunch and lunch menu. Ambiance / décor: 5/5 Cosy with wood and art deco decor. Quantities: 5/5 Best to go in a group of 3 or 4 if you're going to order their dishes (not the brunch). Plates are huge so you can share! We were 2 and ordered 3 mains to share and rolled out. Taste: 5/5 Every dish was so fragrant, original, memorable, and amazing. IG: kaya_chronicles_geneva

We came to cafe Ansari for brunch with our two little children. We were greeted by their French waiter with a smile ( I didn't get his name). He was very attentive and shows that he cares about his customers. We sat outside since they have great outdoor sitting and the weather was nice. The outdoor sitting is stroller friendly since there's enough space to put the stroller next to your table. We had Rye bread with smoked salmon, mashed avocados and poached egg, ciabatta with ham, poached egg with hollandaise sauce and our son had porridge with sliced mangoes and cashew nuts. Lastly, two cafe latte. The food was good however, my rye bread with poached egg and salmon feels a bit dry since there's no sauce. My husband's food on the other hand have hollandaise sauce but then the sauce was clumpy. As per my son's food, the porridge was great. The latte was good. Overall, our experience was good and we will come back because of the great service we received and to try the Georgian food.

Food was really good! Took Brioche with asparagus, ham, poached egg and hollandaise sauce, pancakes with berries and oriental breakfast. Everything looked and tasted great. Good seating outside. It gets quite full, so better reserve before going there. Only drawback is the staff. It all felt very rushy.

Wonderful breakfast on the outside patio. The Georgian breakfast, savory pastry with mozzarella baked inside and an egg baked on top, was different and delicious. The rice in coconut milk was served warm with mango and cashews on top. Spectacular! Our waiter was attentive but not overbearing and the outside patio was a relaxing spot to people watch and relax.

Beautiful cafe/restaurant in possibly the most beautiful corner of Vienna. Food has slightly small portions for the price but has really high quality and tastes great. Service is friendly and fast. We had breakfast there but are looking forward to try the food as well.

In short - overrated. Their ingredients are top notch but ruined with poor technique. We ordered two dishes. The Georgian Breakfast bread was amazing, but ruined by the side salad that had so many onions it could melt your face off. My dish was the toasted Marianne topped with a poached egg. They somehow managed a poached egg where the yolk was overcooked and the whites were undercooked snot. Impressive. The side salad was also overdressed to the point of having a pool of dressing under it and the dressing itself was bitter and salty. Quite horrifying to say the least. Thank god I ordered the fruit and yogurt where the only technique needed was to pour the yogurt out of a jar and top it with cut fruit. It was the best dish sadly. While the food was awful, the drinks were good. Too bad we were seated in the back room where the lights were kept dim to hide the disgusting state of the walls. Pretty sure if you touched the walls you’d catch something. So all and all - not the best breakfast in Vienna. A shame since the breads they use here are top quality and would be good if treated properly.

Good, wholesome food, really good salads, decent wine & beer selection. Atmosphere only let down by the music selection on that particular evening. The place has a 'student refectory' vibe about it. It was quiet on the early February evening we visited, as was the remainder of the Naschmarkt, so we would imagine it would be quite lively and atmospheric later in the season. Would we go back? You bet!

Really good Georgian restaurant, with authentic modern Georgian dishes. Service was very friendly and the ambience in the restaurant is hip and cozy. Would definitely recommend trying out!

During our stay in Vienna we spent one evening at Cafe Ansari. We didn’t make a reservation but still got a nice little table which was very nice. The food was good but a little pricey for a pretty small portion so I still felt hungry when we left. The atmosphere was nice and the interior is beautiful. The Service was okay but we didn’t feel like we where taken seriously as the waiter seemed to forget about us. We still had a nice evening with solid food but I would rather come back to try the breakfast than spend another evening. Thanks for the night.

The atmosphere is nice. Khinkali were very good! Khachapuri could be better. The chicken pita had too much seasoning. PS. I love Georgian food! I travel to Georgia almost every year and I know the cuisine by heart already)

Very delicious mixed cuisine. Contemporary Georgian dishes are awesome, one of the best Khachapuri you can taste. The service is super and atmosphere is very pleasant 😍

The food and the place are okay. A bit expensive, the plate was broken and the water jar dirty. I wouldn't go back.

5-star experience! There are a few Georgian dishes - which are all heavenly good! The overall menu seems to be a fusion of different cuisines, but they are all super tasty. Great experience from cocktail, starter, main course to desert. Friendly and professional staff. The location is also pretty nice and modern. A must go in Vienna! Ps: don’t forget to make a reservation.
