For those who saw my review for Figlmüller, this is the schnitzel I was referring to when I said I had better ones in Vienna . (If you didn't see that review, it was a 4* review.) As I mentioned above, this was a great schnitzel. I enjoyed it thoroughly and when I was done I would've easily enjoyed another one. They also have great deserts and wine. I recommend this place if you're in Vienna.

•I'm a tourist and I came with my family . I love the food, we were hungry when we got here, and we're very full right now. The porsions were big🩵•As a Turk, I loved schnitzel, the famous Austrian dish😋•The employees were incredibly interested. They were very friendly. We spoke to them in English and never had any problems🙏🏻

Veal schnitzel (€25.90) was good and came with 2 full pieces, so a lot of food. Includes lemon and potato salad, which has nice sauce to eat with the schnitzel. I would also recommend getting the cranberry sauce (€1.50) with the schnitzel. Service was also good.

The schnitzel at the level is hard to explain to you how delicious it is. There are two types of schnitzel, chicken schnitzel and meat schnitzel, and the salad and the sauce. The sauce and blueberries. As delicious as it is, everything is perfect.

Kinda small cute restaurant. Staff was ok. Big portions and tasty soup and schnitzel. The potato salad could be better. The starter was tasteless. It’s a little bit pricey too.

A very good restaurant in Vienna. I made a reservation a week before and everything was ok (by the way, you couldn't even eat without a reservation, everything was fully booked). The service was very good and fast. The waiter told us what is best cooked in the restaurant, including describing the portions so that we don't over-order. The place looks very good, the tables are close to each other, the atmosphere is very pleasant.

Typical Austrian food in this beautiful restaurant. Just 5 minute walking from staadtsoper. The waiters are absolutely gentle and always ready to help and suggest among all the dishes they offer. Schnitzel absolutely perfect.

Amazing restaurant in Vienna. Awesome service, authentic and delicious food, comfortable and cozy atmosphere. Give my girl a wonderful birthday surprise which make us feel at home! Also they gave us the cake for free!

There are culinary places on earth that you can describe "it was quite good, the important thing is that my belly was full", while the other is "looked and tasted, but wasn't enough..." I don't know how the owners of Huth did it but it was wonderful and I left full. Delicate and well broken schnitzel, without any gristle. Lemon served in a material bag so as not to get your hands dirty. Sweet cranberries, but not overly so. Service young team, very helpful. If nature gave me wings, I would fly there every Sunday from Poland, just for this schnitzel. Well, something beautiful!

This was one of the best schnitzels I had in Austria (and Germany). It wasn’t cheap, but the price felt right for the quality of the meal (that comes with potato salad). I did feel a bit ripped off having to pay extra €1.5 for the cranberry sauce while in most places it’s included, as it’s just part of the combo. The calf liver was very well cooked too and perfectly seasoned. The waiters were courteous and helpful. We were lucky enough to get a table without reservation, but I saw many people being turned away, so make a reservation if you want to make sure.

Great austrian food. We ate the Huth soup, salad and cordon bleu. It was very tasty 😋 Especially the soup and schnitzel. As well, the service is very good.

I came here with my parents after a long and rainy day of walking around Vienna. We were originally planning on going to a nearby restaurant however we were lucky enough to stumble upon Gastwirtschaft instead. Firstly, our server, Valentine, was a complete joy. He was funny/personable, considerate, professional, and overall made our experience very enjoyable. I'll admit prior to eating here I was a little suspicious of traditional Austrian food, however the Viennese Boiled Meat, chicken Wiener Schnitzel, and Ricotta Ravioli that we ordered was game changing. Small details from tenderness of the boiled meat to the great sides including the horseradish apple and chive sauce made the food impeccable. I would 100% recommend this place as it it will make your trip in Vienna complete! (Also, my pictures do not do justice the true tastiness of the food :') )

Went there for traditional Austrial dinner before going to opera. Food was amazing and service was way above expectations. We took 2 different dishes and mentioned that we will want to share both. And the6 actually split it before bringing to us.

I am not the greatest fan of schnitzel but this one was one of the best I ever had (and I’ve had plenty, due to circumstances ie living in Germany). Light and flavorful veal schnitzel with fries (not hand-cut but I don’t have great expectations) and a fluffy Kaiserschmarrn to complete the meal. The restaurant’s simplicity of design, pleasant background music and accommodating personnel are also to be mentioned as these all create a cool dining experience.

The food was excellent, friendly service. The prices are not cheap, but not very expensive. One of the best places for schnitzel and cordon bleu. The place is a bit tight and I presume become packed during busy times. Reservation is probably a good idea. Very much recommended.

A really lovely Viennese restaurant, not super touristy, which we loved! The schnitzel was awesome along with the potato salad (we split a single portion in half and it was just as much we needed for dinner!).

Fantastic restaurant with excellent service, our waiter was so nice! First time having schnitzel and it did not disappoint, so light and well cooked with the best potato salad I've ever eaten accompanied by the best Viennese red wine! Will definitely be back.

Extremely fantastic and very friendly restaurant. The Wiener Schnitzel is absolutely 👍🏾 mind blowing und super delicious. And of course it is made of veal. The potato salad was lightly warm and not sour. The service was also quite polite, respectful and asked several times if everything is ok. They are quite children friendly and gave our daughter chocolate. We tasted the Creme Schnitte as dessert 🍮 and were thrilled. All in all a super fantastic experience.

Delicious Austrian food in a stylish atmosphere. Service was really good and they patiently guided us through the wine and food choices. We shared a starter and they kindly brought it out on two plates. Very relaxed setting. Wish we could return to do the whole menu! Would recommend booking as they are popular.

Such a great restaurant. We didn’t have a reservation but the stuff was very helpful and willing to take good care of us. I have to say that as a vegetarian i’m very happy with the vegetarian dishes. Plus my boyfriend was very happy with his meal (schnitzel with cranberry sauce and potato salad). So overall couldn’t be happier with our choice ❤️ thank you for everything!

I recently visited Huth Gastwirtschaft in Vienna with a group of four, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. We tried different dishes, (mainly schnitzels), and had beer and wine to go with it. Every dish was excellent, and we were blown away by the quality of the food. The staff was very friendly and provided exceptional service throughout our visit, making us feel welcome and comfortable. The overall atmosphere of the place was great, with a warm and cozy feel that added to the dining experience. I would highly recommend Huth Gastwirtschaft to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in Vienna. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely visit again. If you're in Vienna, don't miss out on this gem of a restaurant!

We have been there in the middle of July. We didn't have a reservation for dinner but there were tables available inside. We wanted to go for Austrian dishes, so we were in the right place. Wiener Schnitzel with fries, beef speciality with apple sauce, an amazing dessert and the hospitality of the waiter were the ingredients of a wonderful evening. Totally recommend it

I got a seat before 6pm without reservation as the place really gets busy by 6:30 pm. So reservation would be recommended. I'd say the Sweinschnitzel is quite good, but I won't say it's top among other good restaurants. Probably the big name of the restaurant gave me a too-high expectation. And cranberry jam was an extra, which was a bit weird to me. But the homebrew mama beer was outstanding! I like it even more than the Augustiner Helles....

Dinner in this stylish and popular restaurant is a delightful affair, with attentive service and a menu that offers all the Viennese classics plus some daily specials. Excellent wine selection, very reasonable prices.

We came for lunch and loved it. Best schnitzel I’ve ever had! The potato salad is amazing, too. Same with the ravioli and the bone marrow. Highly recommend!

Great schnitzel served in modern surroundings. Chicken escalope was moist, crispy and full of flavour. The potato salad was divine. All accompanied by a beautiful of Riesling. Efficient service shame they didn’t smile more. Be aware we paid cash and staff didn’t give back the change straight away, we had to ask for it!

The best restaurant we’ve been to in Vienna. Will definitely come back if given the chance: - outstanding service, especially by the relatively older bigger waiter. True professionalism that is so rare to see nowadays - great large portions - high quality food; the schnitzel was outstanding. A good amount of choice among traditional dishes - priced very well - not expensive for a Vienna restaurant

Overall a wonderful and relaxing experience with attentive and helpful staff and wonderful , authentic food. The boiled beef was terrific, not dry and with wonderfully cooked vegetables and potato. Everything was executed flawlessly, even the boiled carrot had the perfect texture. The bean salad was delightful, fresh and crisp. The Gramerknodel were superb in everyway. The Veal Meatballs were soft, fluffy and perfectly seasoned. They were complimented perfectly by the silky potato puree. I highly recommend this restaurant but would advise you to make a reservation. We got lucky as we went earlier in the afternoon at around 1630 and we're able to sit down at the one table which wasn't reserved or occupied. 5/5 for everything. If I'm ever in Vienna again, I will for sure loon forward to my next visit at Huth.

This was the last place I visited in Vienna before coming back home, and one of the reasons I came back home with very good memories of my foodie trip. I had the Tafelspitz and it was very tasty. Very attentive and friendly service, they helped me with choosing from the menu and with the wine pairing. I went there without a reservation on my own, and felt very much welcome as a solo guest. Although, I'd like to remind you that this was relatively early in the evening so during peak hours it might be better to make a reservation.

Great place to taste some traditional Viennese cuisine - like the Wiener Scnitzel. The atmosphere of the place is great, the staff is polite and the food is superb. I also really liked that they playing The Blue Danube Waltz in the rest room. You won't regret if you visit this restaurant while staying in Vienna.

The Schnitzel. Was. Incredible. Hands down one of the best, if not the best, Schnitzel I've had in Vienna. It just melted in the mouth. The Zwiebelrostbraten was also delicious! Doesn't look like your typical Austrian restaurant and its not super fancy, so it has an awesome comfortable vibe with exceptional food and drinks!

Very enjoyable experience, starting from attentive services, delicious wine and true star of the show, Cordon Bleu! Highly recommended to anyone seeking authentic food.

Food was great but service was non existent. Sat waiting for someone to take our drink and food order for 20 minutes despite our attempts to flag waiters down multiple times and being acknowledged. The cordon bleu was delicious but very filling and heavy so you might want to share. Beef soup with liver dumpling was delicious.

Professional service and the food left us speechless. Great austrian kitchen, the best Tafelspitz we’ve had, not to mention the Wiener schnitzel.

  • 5/5 Andry K. 5 years ago on Google
I rated the food 5 star. Schnitzel was perfectly cooked, it's juice, its crispy, it's everything, and there was the slow cooked beef with broth, its just wow wow and wow.The condiments watercress sauce was dying for.I really enjoyed my lunch time here. The only thing negative here was service, maybe because i did not order alcohol/wine, the lady seems quite not happy about it. When i asked for water, she just put the glass of water and took off, the water nearly spill onto the table. But overall, good food, good experience, i will coming back.

The place is generally ok, but it has some space for improvement. The food was ok, but the waiter got 2 of 6 dishes wrong. The medium steak was rather raw, so it needed some more time on the grill. We waited for our food for more than 40 min.
