Visiting Vienna from the Middle East, you would assume food like this is natural for me to eat… False, apparently. 2 hours into processing the meal, my stomach began to hurt in such pain - i have not had this kind of severe aching in years. I drank a lot of water in hopes for it to get better, to no results. I had to cancel the entire evening and the coming day of my vacation only in hopes for the pain to stop. Puked 5 times - Intentionally (which really makes you feel like a kitchen rug) i felt as if my gut was turning inside out. I am purposely expanding on the detail, this food is not for everybody - and i am Middle Eastern. I woke up 6 times that night, and had a horrible day. Do yourselves a favor, goodluck.

Delicious lamb shishkabob with tender meat beautifully grilled. Rice, salad and satsiki included on the plate. Falafel and hummus dip with salad also great. Location great on outdoor tables.

Food was half decent and the first guy to whom I asked some questions about the menu was very nice and helpful. There ended our good experience. The other guy inside was a grump and wouldn’t even look at us so we can order, after ordering when I asked for water he could have been polite while saying they’d charge for water - instead he acted like we were there to eat for free by saying “I charge 80 cents a glass, you want 3 glass?” And when I said yes he said that’s a lot of money. Anyway, the food was bland (no seasoning on any of the food). Better to find another spot in the neighborhood.

Excellent restaurant, super value for money. I had the cold appetizer plate and it was excellent. I have been in some kebab restaurants in Istanbul and everything was very similar.

Even 2 stars for the location. Rude waiter. Food was oily and a pale version of Turkish authenticity. Was in Izmir and Istanbul only 2 weeks before - so can tell the difference. Be careful when you order- a conversation between two of us in what drink and lo and behold the waiter brings us both and says you ordered both! Didn’t want to spoil our holiday and hence paid. Wouldn’t recommend this if you want good food and decent service

Very bad restaurant, rude staff , service awful, they ask fir tip and if you don’t give them they don’t even answer to your “ goodbye and thank you” It takes ages to bring the food and they brought starters with the food. Average food, quite pricey and rude personnel. Don’t ruin your holiday with going to this place

Good restaurant, friendly staff, tasty food, they have many different options of food. The location is great near the cathedral and in the middle of main street and attractions.

Probably the best kebab in Vienna, large portions, very tasty and beautifully prepared food, the waiter was very kind. The only thing we didn't like was that the waiter picked up flatbreads from the table that we ordered and we didn't even try them, we wanted to take them home, but he got ahead of us 🙂 it doesn't matter it was his tip. We will return to this restaurant whenever we are in Vienna.

The food was very oily and did not taste good. Costumer service is not that good as well. The atmosphere is nice.

We ordered a serving of lamb chops (w/ yoghurt, over rice+bread+ salad) and one serving of lamb sis kebap (w/ yoghurt, over rice+bread+cooked vegetables). Lamb chops were great, well seasoned, juicy and not to mention it came with not two not three, but Four pieces. The sis kebap was also great, and I found myself cleaning up the plate in 10 minutes Would recommend to anyone in search of a nice grilled meat / rice restaurant in the heart of Vienna

We were on a search for authentic Turkish cuisine as tourists. We had Yogurtlu Adana Kebap and Iskender Kebap. Both arrived early and tasted delicious! They use Austrian meat, and the meat really makes or breaks the meal with Turkish cuisine. The yoghurt served with the dishes could have been of better quality. Waiters were very professional and hospitable. We suggest that the interior design can be improved to look more cultural and elegant.

Visited Türkis with my colleagues while on a work trip in Vienna, they staff were very welcoming and the food was great. PS: Always go for the mixed grill in any Turkish restaurant, you can’t go wrong lol Added a bonus photo of the Catholic Church close to the restaurant.

I recently dined at Türkis, a Turkish restaurant known for its kebabs, and I have to say, I was disappointed with the experience. The kebab's bread was too thin, and there was a lack of vegetables and meat inside. While the service was satisfactory and the ambiance was pleasant, the kebab itself did not live up to expectations. I cannot wholeheartedly recommend Türkis for a flavorful and satisfying kebab.

İskender and schnitzel are delicious. We especially liked Iskender because it tastes as good as it was served in Turkey. They serve tasty tea for free. The atmoshpere is also nice. . 2nd visit: döner

Food was really nice, place was a bit crowded and very noisy. We enjoyed it overall and would recommend for lunch/dinner.

We ate dinner here and were very impressed. We've been to Turkey several times and love Turkish cuisine, Turkis was not a disappointment. The food was great and very authentic. I would happily eat here again.

I ordered kebab iskander and it was really good i enjoyed it and my wife ordered kebab adana also she enjoyed it The waiter mehmet was funny and kind I would recommend it to any iskander kebab fan!

I visited this restaurant twice during my 6-day stay in Vienna in late May, 2022. I must say, I felt like I was at home as a Turk. The staff was kind, the interior was well decorated, and most importantly the meals were delicious. I can't forget the taste of köfte that I had on my last night before leaving the city.

Food is perfect every time I order. Homemade taste. Really picked up well on how they cook the food in Turkey. The rice is out of this world. Good shashlicks. Really recommend.

Really the food's were awesome and delicious. Staff's of the restaurant were so enthusiastic and kind towards the customer. Definitely I would suggest this place if someone is new to Vienna.

Delicious pizza with really short waiting time. I would say that price and locatation are 5/5.

I ordered Tavuk Sote. Taste of it was so delicious. I would recommend everyone to try it. I just did not like waiter’s behaviour. He made us pay more for a type of water which we did not even order and he said that ‘’This is what you have ordered, I have asked you.’’ Just make sure showing him carfully what you want to order. When I wanted a receipt and asked him why the price is higher, he got nervous and started behaving in an unkind way.

Mediocre food doner was made from grade b meats , blend pizza. Also their steamed vegetables are not very well seasoned . Also when i went to wash my hand the bathrooms were EXTREMELY dirty.

Food and service was good. I couldn’t complain about anything. It was all you could expect from a chain in the city centre. I’d come again!!
