Stuff is always unfriendly to me, food: avarage asian, too oily and fried, too much sugar in the sushi, you can eat better for the money. One plus is the atmosphere - it is nice and does not smell like Asian but this does not compensate my first two remarks. When i called them to reserve they told me they are closed for an event. I passen by 3 minutes later and it was open and empty.

Went here for a quick lunch - it was great. Super friendly and kind team. Food options were really varied. We got the lunch buffet and it was a perfect - the tempura/battered veggies were shockingly good, not at all oily and had a lot of flavour - highly recommend!!

The lunch buffet here at VEGETASIA was incredible, for only €12 per person on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. The selection of vegan Asian food was incredible and all of it was so tasty. The serving staff were friendly and spoke good English, and the ambience of the place was sophisticated, but trendy.

Disgusting, bland, greasy food that is unhealthy and often oily or too sweet. Extremely rude service. Basically they lure you in with cheap buffet prices and overcharge you for drinks. Didn't even help to clear our plates when we finished. I like the vegan concept but I search for vegan because I want healthy. Not greasy and deep fried. You can get better food for your money. Definitely avoid.

This place is great! The food was absolutely delicious and so many different meals! We went for the buffet and it's was totally worth it! Really everything that I tried was so good! The sweet and sour eggplant was amazing! I was impressed by the diversity of food, I could not try everything. The cheesecake and coconut pudding were tasty and the fruits were fresh. The staff was very friendly. Fyi you can pay only with cash, but there is an ATM nearby. I definitely recommend this place, great vegetarian asian buffet.

It doesn't matter if you're vegetarian or not, this place is a gem. I've never had a dish here that was bland, and the faux-meat selection is incredible. The buffet is one of the best deals in the city, especially given the quality of the food (and freshness). Also, the owner is very friendly :)

Amazing food and amazing staff! Fully vegan menu, but didn't make a difference, they have tofu and some soy "meats" and they taste amazing. The starters were great and the mains were brilliant

My first visit to a vegan restaurant and I must say I was very impressed. As an accomplished meat eater, it was no problem to eat until I was more than full. The variety of fresh ingredients, the sauces and flavours - it was truly an experience. Plus little spring rolls to "snack" on every now and then, great service with robot support, oh and - not to forget the nice, family ambience. The tables are big enough, the chairs comfortable and the distance to other tables very pleasant. For everyone, whether vegan, vegetarian, pescetarian, whatever - try it out! There is something for everyone in this hot pot experience!

Wonderful buffet for lunch with many options and all of them delicious! Good service and friendly staff made for a good experience. Wish I had known it was cash only, but I’m sure if I would have read more reviews or checked their website I would’ve notice that. 9 of 10, would go back!

One of the best things I've ever eaten. Hand-made noodles were awesome, popcorn "chicken" as well. And for dessert try fried fruits, delicious. And the owner and the whole staff are very nice. As a non-vegan 10/10, will be back.

Eeecht gut! The food is amazing. As a vegan, I feel really happy that there is such a great restaurant to go to. The taste, the selection, and variety (they put in a lot of effort to bring authentic but also fusion dishes into the menu). I only wish there’d be more vegan desserts (maybe a simple pie or cake?) but there is a good selection of fruits and there are also fried sweets. Also, I saw a negative review somewhere that said the food here is unhealthy - being vegan is not going on a diet (for some maybe it is true) it’s lifestyle that doesn’t include suffering of the living beings, FYI. Even so - there are plenty of healthy options here. Just because you are unfamiliar with the cuisine doesn’t mean it’s unhealthy! Try it!

I really enjoyed the times I visited here. Friendly staff. Great food and great ethos. My only downside was that the card machine didn't work on the times I visited.

Perhaps the best food in all of Vienna! We stumbled upon this after a pub crawl and sought it out the next night. The buffet is awesome! Such a value. The food is fresh and of superior quality. So many flavor profiles to savor. The variety was amazing. Service was friendly and spot on. They have a lovely interior or enjoy the sidewalk patio. Quiet neighborhood. I cannot recommend this place enough. They are constantly replenishing items on the buffet. They also have a full menu, if you prefer. What a find.

I enjoyed this place a lot. Was there many, many times when i still lived in Vienna. The food is probably not so healthy, but it is extremely tasty. Recommended!

Utterly disappointing! We decided to try the buffet lunch based on rave reviews and left the restaurant utterly disappointed. First, CLEANLINESS - when we arrived at 13:30, it was not busy, there were 3 occupied tables, AND many dirty tables that were not cleared. There was only 1 female staff (maybe boss?) behind the counter, and a robot cleaner was seen moving around, but did nothing. The only clean and set table was right next to the toilet. Second, FOOD - I suspect the buffet food were NOT FRESH and were scraps of food from the kitchen maybe from other dishes. I HAD A STOMACHACHE after visiting Vegetasia, luckily it wasn't serious and it cleared up after a few hours of discomfort. The food at the buffet were not extremely warm and the refill was very slow. The fried rice tray was perpetually empty. There were Vietnamese fresh rolls, sushi and fruits and they actually DEEP FRY the fresh rolls, sushi and fruits to create the impression of a wider variety. In fact, they are the same food. The deep-fried samosa (we found only one - felt like a food scrap) was super hard and would break your teeth. There's nothing special about the sweet and sour Melazzani which reviews raved about - standard sweet and sour dish taste - a bit on the sweet side actually. A big group came after and all the fortune cookies were snatched up - again, no refill. Overall taste is mediocre, what you would find at standard cheap restaurants. There were two soup pots and no space to put the hot lid - very awkward! Do they expect customers to carry the hot lid while taking the soup? The best so far is the peanut sauce for the fresh rolls. Third, SERVICE - The sole female staff (or boss?) was welcoming at first. She was usually behind the counter and did not clear and clean the tables. We did not order drinks, and no water was served to us (although it was served to the bigger table). Everything was self service and there was little interaction with her. Overall, the service was ok. Until... she tried to chase us out by bringing us the bill early (fair point, as we understood that the buffet stops at 15:00). It was raining heavily at that time, but she chased us out anyway with a "Sorry, we are closed". SERVICE TIPS - I wasn't not sure if the quality of food, cleanliness and staff service would deserve a tip, but when she brought us the bill, she was hovering for a Trinkgeld (tips) for a few seconds, as if it was her God-given right to receive a tip (for the non-existent service she provided). I did not leave a tip as I felt that the poor quality of food and level of service and cleanliness do not deserve one. The restaurant would have to be more motivated to improve on all those aspects BEFORE they should expect a tip. Clearly, she was disappointed. And probably why she chased us out, not once, but twice. PRICE - Certainly expensive for the quality and variety of food. ALL IN ALL, I don't think this place Vegetasia is worth visiting, and I CERTAINLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. There are much better buffet places with more variety of food, faster refills, fresher food, cleaner premises, and much better service. And it is a vegetarian buffet for 16 euros for lunch in a location that is not central (25 euros for dinner - definitely NOT WORTH IT). You can get a meat buffet for 15 euros for lunch in a central location, and not feeling disappointed by the quality of food, being pressured to leave a tip, or the worst, experiencing a stomachache after the visit!
