👍👍 We came especially to this restaurant after researching in advance, and it was so rewarding! We were met by a very welcoming and sweet lady who helped us choose and was patient and warm throughout our stay, no matter how busy the place was. As for the schnitzel - it is so good! Freshly made, crisp... People often mention service, restaurant, good, great, recommend, experience, friendly, dishes, wine, menu,

We came especially to this restaurant after researching in advance, and it was so rewarding! We were met by a very welcoming and sweet lady who helped us choose and was patient and warm throughout our stay, no matter how busy the place was. As for the schnitzel - it is so good! Freshly made, crispy on the outside, just the right texture on the inside and accompanied by wonderful potatoes dish and sweet berries jam on the side. It was delicious and perfectly balanced. The spinach and cheese dumplings in brown butter were also a delight. There were other very tempting local dishes, so there will have to be a next time. ;) We liked the great coffee with its lovely crema and aroma so much that we had another before leaving. Prices are very reasonable, portion sizes are generous, everything is very clean including the restroom and there's a seating area outside as well as inside. (Inside seating area has high chairs) If you are looking for a place to eat in Vienna - I highly recommend Hemmers. Such a wonderful experience! Thank you so much! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I can’t say the food at this place wasn’t tasty. However, we had a very unpleasant experience here, and I would not recommend this place at any rate, as I feel they treat foreign customers in a totally unacceptable way. We ordered a bottle of wine, which happened to have a screw cap. We could clearly witness how the owner took an open bottle and filled it up with the leftovers from a totally different wine, and then the waiter came to us with that open bottle.

The good reviews gave us hope we would find some great dishes. The schnitzel was underwhelming and pricey. The potato salad that came with the dish had some mulch in it and they aknowledged that but we still paid the full price. We were dissapointed. Maybe the other dishes are tastier and we were just unlucky.

My wife and I are two Americans visiting Vienna with our two kids & my mom. We decided to take a night out for ourselves and came across yelp reviews of this bar. What a strike of luck! Alfred was the bartender, and he made it an awesome highlight of our trip. We didn’t speak language, but ended up hanging out with 6 people mostly communicating through music, dance and drink. This was so much fun!

I do not recommend the place, for a small dessert and a cappuccino we paid about 13 euros and the waitress without my knowledge added another 3-4euro!!! This only turned out to be the case after receiving confirmation from the payment terminal. She probably saw that we do not speak fluent German, but English and used this to her advantage. She said that the price did not include a tip, I confirmed that I did not want one and then she charged me a higher price. Scamming foreign customers, very unpleasant.

Stumbled across this small neighbourhood restaurant while on a walk from the Hilton Vienna Centre. Had an excellent porcini truffle ravioli with a couple of glasses of Pinot Grigio. Friendly wait staff, warm ambiance, good food - just right for a later evening meal.

Very good food with generous portions. Super fast service, although only 2 persons are serving all tables. The waitress seems to be the owner. She took orders, put and take plates, and even chit chat with customers at the same time! I was very impressed with her friendly attitude. Recommend.

The place is warm and inviting. The service was top notch and the food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. Not overpriced or pretentious. A great find for us on our travels.

This place is outstanding. Eva is your server and the owner. She is fabulous. We did google translate to figure out the menu. It worked great and everything was excellent. We had pumpkin ravioli. Tagliatelle bolognese. Caraway ribs sauerkraut and dumplings. We each had starter soup or salad and a drink, followed by a bottle of wine with dinner.

Can't say anything about the food, as never had the chance to try it. Despite that, according to the website, the kitchen is open until 15, getting in there at 14:30 will leave you hungry.... Obviously working in their own time zone.

Visited this restaurant with my family and some friends. Since we arrive they told us that no way we are getting a table for six outside and they might find something inside if the boss agrees. They gave us a tall table even if we had children, the table was much taller than their highchair. We decided to stay as we were hungry. Unfortunately, the quality of the service did not improve and we were clearly treated differently (to say the least) - not sure if they don't like children or foreigners. The 'boss' tried to make us welcomed but the waiter's attitude was evident. The food was really good - thus my three star review. Would definitely not come again, not sure how this restaurant can have 4.8 rating with this service.

What an amazing restaurant and experience! The food is impeccable and presented very attractively, as well as being organic/local. And as other reviews have stated, the service deserves an extra star for being incredibly friendly and helpful.

Nice middle price restaurant with very friendly service and varied menu (as an example in the fish category there are local and salt water fish available). Price range for two with shared starter, main dish, shared dessert, gin and a glass of wine slightly above 100€. We had to wait a bit more than average between dishes but it was no problem at all as we had time to talk and enjoy more the experience.

Highly recommend! Excellent experience. Despite approaching the end of lunch service, the staff politely welcomed us. Even though we did not speak German, we both tried our best to communicate which made this experience most authentic and memorable. I had the Weiner schnitzel with the potato salad. My partner had a menu of the day which was a huge portion of food (starter, main and side). We also had the lemon soda. All i can say is you can trust Hemmers for an authentic local meal and experience.

Great place for Austrian cuisine. Lovely atmosphere. The goose is highly recommended. Their apple ice cream with carrot is also very interesting🍏 definitely recommend to try.

No English menu. That spoiled the general impression. Cozy place for Austrian fine food, beer and good service. If u need cheap web site or online menu with QR code — just let me know:)

Lovely restaurant offering cuisine of South Tyrol region of Austria. The owners are very welcoming and are proud of their kitchen and heritage. All dishes are really well-executed and remind of home cooked meal, though beef roulade was a bit dry. However, steak tartare and beef cheeks were both excellent and so was beef soup with speck dumpling. Good wine list with wines from different regions. Overall, highly recommended
