Great little spot for Viennese/Austrian cuisine. The ambience is super chill, and the interior is eclectic. The beer on tap was delicious, and I just went for the pretzel, which was well worth it. I would like to go back for food as I’ve heard it’s delicious. Off the beaten path a little, so check it out if you want something out of the way. Staff was great as well.

A fantastic atmosphere with true old world charm! A small space on two floors with the main floor being more intimate and the downstairs being open. The service and food were great but the atmosphere stole the show. Perfect for a cozy night of good food with friends and loved ones.

We came looking for the best Pretzel in Vienna and found it at once. Also ordered Snitzel and pork with dumplings. Unbelievable food, 10/10. Big portions and all of it delicious. Very friendly lady taking orders/cooking the food/doing it all! Traditional looking place that I'd run through the centre of Vienna to eat at.

A cool location and really good food. Love the home cooked feel and the grandmother's recipe section in the menu. The schnitzel with the potato salad was one of the best I've had, and the goulash with the pickle combination was amazing. Definitely worth a visit when you're around there! You might need a reservation.

The most beautiful, most traditional Viennese restaurant ever. I've been going there for years. The service is super nice and the cuisine is simply delicious. It can only be recommended.

Good quiet place with tasty meals and good beer. Not very cheap, but worth visiting. Good story of the place, written in menu

Lovely surprise to find this place literally 5 minutes from our hotel. Weather was threatening so didn’t want to go too far and fell on this place. Marvellous. Quiet but attentive staff. Food, drinks and wine were very good. We are outside and just managed to pay the bill - very reasonable - before the heavens opened. If we’re ever back in Vienna then we’re back here also.

Beautiful little place with awesome atmosphere and traditional looking food. Generous portions but a bit on the pricier side. Nice selection of wines, quite affordable either by the glass or the bottle. Totally worth visiting and trying the veal schnitzel.

The environment is great, food is tasty, and it is close by to many other things. The portions were good for most plates. I will add that the pretzel was nothing special. Get a reservation before you go.

The best place to go in Vienna! Forget all the white table cloth restaurants on the main streets. Come here for the most delicious local cuisine & drink under a low light on rustic wooden tables & chairs. The ambience is amazing and the staff are friendly. I could visit time and time again! By far the best place to go for a romantic dinner!

Go for the decor (it's an amazing setting) and also enjoy a really good meal! My party and I enjoyed every thing we had (veal schnitzel, fried cheese salad, pretzels, wine). Very friendly service. Even when they were slammed and the kitchen got backed up, the server was so very nice and apologetic. Highly recommend!!

Cozy, traditional, filled with locals. Not fine cuisine, more hearty Central European/Austrian dishes. We had Wiener Schnitzel; good. And only the veal version available, which denotes a focus on doing things right; the most important. Folklorique decor on two floors (level and basement, traditional stone). One star removed for all the non-obvious fee-based extras: pretzels, cranberry jam, and expensive double espresso (actually double priced).

A beautiful historic building with romantic vaulted ceilings that offers a good selection of traditional dishes, including some vegetarian, as well as light and dark beers, white and red wine and hard drinks at reasonable prices. The staff are very obliging. Recommendation!

Lovely place, super cosy, and a real feel of the old world. Excellent hearty food and no fuss service. Had my first and only schnapps of my trip too 😀 as well as the best dumpling I've had in a very long time!

Authentic experience and feel which is slightly off the beaten track. Schnitzel hit the spot whereas a warm curd strudel was ideal for the cold weather but perhaps not my dessert of choice. Prices seem average for the area, although expensive drinks. Friendly service.

This place is a hidden gem in the inner city away from the crowds. My girlfriend and me had a lunch here and we were pleasantly surprised. They serve traditional Austrian food. We had Eiernockeln and Jägerpfandl. Both meals were simple but very tasty and filling. I really have a feeling the same dishes were eaten 500 years ago. The Apfelstrudel was to die for. The service was very friendly. The restaurant is located in a quiet side street with both outside and inside seating. Highly recommended!

I would have gone for 2,5 stars had it been possible: the food was a bit too salty, especially the pretzel 🥨. The location is delicious and the prices are pretty unbeatable if you consider that usually very central restaurants do charge a lot for that. Pity for the extra salt… maybe a good enough reason to have some more 🍺😅

Tasty Vienna food, fast serving, nice outside sitting area in a quiet corner. Staff could be friendlier.

What a disappointment! Despite the pleasant ambiance, the overall experience fell short. We were the only guests outdoors, but had to wait for approximately 10 minutes before being able to place our order. The cappuccino, unfortunately, was the worst I've ever tasted in Vienna, and the salad accompanied by mushrooms was equally underwhelming. The strudel turned out to be overcooked with unappetising apples inside. After attempting a small bite, I simply couldn't bring myself to finish it. Adding to the disappointment, the service was quite unfriendly. In protest, we chose not to leave a tip, which prompted the waiter to hand us the receipt indignantly without even saying goodbye.

Amazing find in Vienna! The pretzels were the best I have found and the food was satisying and very tasty. Decent sized portions, great espresso as well and service was great. Away from the main hustle of the city centre, peaceful place to dine Would reccomend as a stop when in Vienna

A tiny and lovely place that easily can give you the feeling you jumped back in time a couple of centuries. Great bretzels, of course. We visited in the morning, shortly after opening, and all tables where already reserved, fortunately for us, for dinning.

Very disappointed experience : the waitress try to make you buy more or the more expensive beverage. An exemple : we ask for carafe of water and we have to pay 8 euro for 0,75L ! Personal are very stressful

Nice Austrian restaurant that is a bit hidden in a back alley. Friendly service, beautiful interior. The apple juice is quite expensive and the hot garlic bread is also not worth it: it's just little pieces of bread drenched in garlic but still almost without taste.
