We had our 1st meal upon arrival in Vienna here. The restaurant was recommended by our hotel nearby and the Google reviews were pretty decent. So the food was delicious. Price point was reasonable. However, the service was inconsistent. While the mains arrived timely, the same cannot be said for the dessert we ordered. Despite trying to eye contact the crew, they just don't get it. It escapes us how a slice of chocolate mousse cake could take more than 20mins to be served. As we had just arrived after a long travel to Vienna, we certainly did not appreciate the extended wait time. So we decided to finish our drinks and settle the bill. We cancelled the dessert order. And then we saw the cake at the kitchen. There was no apology for the long wait, neither was there any service recovery. So I would only give it 4*.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon for some schnitzel fresh off the plane. Super friendly service, very traditional, reasonable and delicious schnitzels! We had the veal and chicken and both recommended. Lots of restaurants we tried were closed on Sundays despite saying open but this was one busy and warm and we are so glad the others were closed!

Was recommended to us by the friendly Irish man from the Irish bar inner town, as we asked for a restaurant which is down to earth, friendly, not over priced with good local cuisine. This place delivered! Shame there weren't any seats outside for us on our arrival, so we had to eat inside and there were no air-con or fans to cool anyone down. But this place has friendly staff, great food and we were served quickly. Portion size was also great. Keep up the good work & thanks for having us at such short notice.

We walked in at 5.50pm today without making any reservations and saw the tables were fully booked. But when we asked the counter staff whether is there any tables available and we were told there is one table reserved at 7pm and whether can we finish our meal within 1 hour. We answered yes and we were then allowed to dine in. We ordered two dishes and they came quickly, within ~15mins. The portions were really generous and we had a very full dinner. Taste was okay. We left the restaurant at 6.40pm. We understood the waiter might not have a smile on their face but their service is quick, bear in mind there are only two staffs helping to take order and deliver food, so for this kind of service and price paid, I have no complaints.

During my recent visit to Vienna, I wanted to enjoy some local cuisine and found this restaurant using a Google search. It was a 5 minute walk from my hotel, The Harmonie Vienna, so I headed over for a late lunch. Sat on the outdoor patio and was greeted promptly and presented with a menu with lots of options. I already knew what I had a hankering for and it was Schnitzel & Beer. Food came out promptly and the portion was huge and served with parsley potatoes and a lemon wedge. I wasn’t able to finish it all as I was saving room for a delicious dessert I’d seen in another reviewers photo. The dessert is a fried dough ball with a ricotta-consistency cream in the center dusted with powdered sugar and topped with a tart cherry compote. The waitress recommended I get 1 as the usual order has 3, and I took her suggestion and it was just the right amount. Definitely not sweet, but delicious nonetheless. Nice location for watching people go by and enjoyed the entire experience. Be sure to pay in Euros and the total, including a 10% tip, came to $27+US

Such good food and atmosphere, nice and very professional staff. The place has a very authentic feeling and look. The food menu is concise and consists of tasty Austrian dishes. The schnitzel is a must, I paired it with a Grüner Veltliner, a light with wine. If you like a dense chocolate cake, you must try the Suzi/Susi Cake.

We had dinner here tonight and we were so pleased with everything we tried. The food is very authentic and flavorful. Service is outstanding. We walked 45 minutes to get here in hot evening but it was worth it. Thanks so much for making our last night in Vienna so memorable.

Stopped by for an early dinner...most of the tables had reservations on them but the bar person sat me down with the expectation to leave by the reserved time. Not a problem since I had an hour and a half. The restaurant has the casual traditional pub feeling to it but it's not a pub. Maybe it was at some point. I ordered a big veal schnitzel with a side salad and some potato salad. Preceded by a small bowl of red lentil soup. All delicious and filling. I asked for a strudel for dessert but surprisingly it's not on the menu so I had the apricot dumpling instead with a cappuccino ( they don't have an Americano coffee). The dumpling was ok, not my fave choice ( not really sweet, creamy or desert like ) but I wanted to try a Viennese dessert and this was recommended. My only gripe was the coffee was brought out 12-15 minutes before the dessert and should've arrived together. With a 10% tip ( they asked for it) the total came to 45 €. They accept credit cards.

A traditional Viennese restaurant with all the standard cuisine you’d expect, done well. Serving sizes and quality will leave you satisfied, and the daily menu with soup and entree is very good value. Service is stunningly quick and attentive, if a bit hectic at times. Same with the places atmosphere unfortunately, which is less relaxing and inviting and more busy and loud. Still, a very enjoyable experience for a quick lunch or dinner.

First Vienna restaurant experience during visit. The Viennese schnitzel was well done as well as the wiener appetizers. We also had the boiled beef which was not personally my favorite. The service was great as well as the atmosphere.

A local austrian gem in the 9th district. Away from the overpriced restaurants across the ring, this is a top choice for authentic cuisine. Try their pork schnitzel and salad wirh chanterelle mushroooms, always on the menu. They also periodically have seasonal items which are worth trying. To drink, I recommend the grapejuice soda made from fresh juice, super refreshing. Love this place and can’t recommend it more. When its nice weather, grab a table outside and enjoy the beautiful surrounding🥰

Really cool, typical, Austrian restaurant in centre of Vienna. I recommend to mame reservation because we didn’t make it and almost didn’t get the table. We ordered beer and typical Vienna Schnitzel with potatos and it was brilliant.

One of the best Schnitzel in Vienna - no matter if you choose pork or veal. Classic selection of Czech and Austrian beers are always pleasing. The portions are large, with exception of the breaded chicken. No reservations needed during the week until 6pm, after that it gets crowded.

Really enjoyed our dinner. Great food - from starter to dessert. Would totally recommend trying the austrian boiled beef fillet tafelspitz - very soft. Service was fast. The restaurant was very busy Friday night - do book in advance or go early to get a table.

Boiled beef was so delicious (it includes hash browns potatoes) and the neck pork was good too. Definitely it's a must go when you are in Vienna. Friendly and attentive staff, the venue was really cosy and old-style Austrian restaurant. We love it. And reasonably priced too!

I was so happy with this spot. Lively with locals. I was traveling alone and the staff was very kind and welcoming to me. I had beef shoulder with fried potatoes (unfortunately don't remember the details of the name of the dish) but it was wonderful. I had a couple of glasses of wine as well. Definitely happy my concierge recommended this spot!
