The staff is super friendly and the restaurant itself is at a great location right in the Center of Vienna. The interior is also cool and trendy. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed with the Vegan burger since we read in an article that they serve the famous ‘beyond meat’ but when we arrived they only had tofu patties. We decided to try it anyway but it was just a plain unseasoned slice of tofu. Everything else was really delicious like the tortilla chips and the actual burger bun and we would want to come back maybe trying something else. They do have a big vegan/vegetarian menu which is really good.

On the begginning it was kinda hard and difficult to find this place, my GPS was a bit crazy. Well talking about this place, the food was good, we order burgers and beer and wine to drink. Wine was really good, but the beer was really unpleasant, and on center of wien i expected much more quality. Staff here is really friendly and helpful.

Small but lovely cafe/bar/restaurant in a great location near Karlsplatz. Don’t expect authentic Mexican food or atmosphere, but they try. And honestly, it doesn’t matter too much. The burgers are fantastic, much better than one would have expected from a small joint that calls itself cafe. The beer selection is limited, but with all around good options. Cocktails are a treat, and I’d strongly recommend the bourbon earl grey one. Prices are on par for the location, service is friendly and attentive enough - just make sure to put in a reservation, as it gets crowded fast.

We have been here twice now. Great food (not entirely Mexican as the name might suggest ), good cocktails and a very nice atmosphere :) Staff was very friendly as well. One suggestion though: waiters could be a little bit more attentive, especially when it comes to drinks. Both times we were there it took quite a while for a waiter to hand us the menu and ask us for drinks even though the restaurant wasn't too busy at the time. Same with refills. Other than that a great place to eat and drink with your friends ;)

The bar behind the front door one is very nice and serves great cocktails. This opens only in the evening, while the front street bar and restaurant is opened from lunchtime. The draft Leffe makes the whole experience sweeter!

Prices average and good, staff and atmosphere nice. Food itself was quite tasteless, and in my opinion needs more flavor. Would give it 3 and a half if possible, worth trying if you like Mexican style food, but ask for more seasoning. I would consider trying it again. Had no experience with their coffe or deserts.

Ordered Cafe Mendez food through UberEats. They put two unsealed containers of soup loose on top of the rest of my order in a paper bag and then gave it to a bicycle courier to put on his back (brilliant idea). Unsurprisingly, the soup spilled everywhere soaking the remaining food and causing the flimsy paper bag to disintegrate. So I have no food to eat, and Cafe Mendez hasn’t answered a single of my 6 calls.

We bumbed into this place by luck and we really got lucky. First of all the personnel is helpful, polite and friendly which seems to be rare for service people in Vienna. A quirky little place near the Ringstraße. Went in late on a Saturday and was given a food menu but told when we went to order that the food service had stopped. They made up for it with some tasty free shots though and the staff were really friendly and outgoing.
