Restaurant • Italian restaurant • Pizzatakeaway

👍 Food was great, but the prices are little higher. Pizza was around 10€, but wine and other drinks was really expensive! Cheapest bottle of wine for like 25€. Also, there is fixed tip 1.6€ for every single item ordered. People often mention service, charge, good, waitress, card, ordered, bread, wine, pizzas,

The food was very good, but the service was ok since there weren't many staff.

It looked like a fine establishment but after we got seated we received no service at all. Tried asking for the waitress she kept ignoring me and my family. After 20 minutes we gave up and left. One of the worst experience ever. A shame because the pizzas looked great and tasty.

Great pizza and awesome variety. The calamari were delicious, plus the spinach and fries... As soon as we got to the place, a lovely American couple told us that the pizzas here were the best, and they were not wrong. One of the waiters was beyond nice. We went on a different day and we were not so lucky, as a rather dry waitress took our orders. Careful when adding extra ingredients to pizzas: they charged us 2.50 to get ham added and 3.50 for extremely dry bacon. They also charge you €2 per person for "service" (aka for no good reason). After leaving a €50 bill for a €47.20 lunch, they assumed the rest was a tip, which they did not deserve. So over all, good food but expensive. Service can be good or awful.

A very warm welcome, so much so we visited twice whilst we visited Vienna. The service was warm, friendly and we happily accepted recommendations for food and wine. Great fresh ingredients and good value for money.

Excellent food for a fair price. The vegetable soup along with the “brot della casa” were a good light meal. The green tea was a commercial brand, but good. Service was great. I spent 13€.

Great place to chill down. Comfortable ambience. Well located lights. The food was tasty and was served in a reasonable time. The prices are very balanced in proportion to the quality of the overall experience. But it wasn't nice that they charge €2 each for the cutlery. It would had been more transparent to rise the food prices and delete the charge for cutlery in order to not face a surprising extra charge for the service.

BE CAREFUL OF CHARGES The food was reasonably good but not exceptional. We noticed a 2 Euro cover charge which we assumed included bread and tap water. Neither arrived so we asked for some bread. Fifteen minutes later it still hadn't arrived. By then we'd almost finished our meal. Finally, 4 small slices of bread in a basket arrive. We eat two of them and then ask for the bill - on top of the 4 Euro cover charge there's a 3 Euro charge for the bread! The four small slices of bread, only two of which we ate! I queried it, but I was essentially told I should be grateful because other restaurants charge 4 Euros per person cover. Not in our experience. We went to Al Borgo on our first night - a much nicer restaurant with much better food. The cover charge was 2.50 EU pp which included bread, bread sticks, olives, olive oil, pesto, tap water etc! We felt this was unreasonable.

The service took almost an hour for a bowl of soup and a beer. They didn’t have the soup I ordered and informed me after half an hour of waiting. The substituted soup was subpar at best. Then, they charged a 2 Euro service charge on a 12 Euro bill and after everything, then informed me that I couldn’t pay with a card.

Extremely rude staff. Was told there was no table for us at first then all of a sudden a table was thrown together beside the toilet. No card payments for foreign customers it seems like because we seen other tables pay with card but for us it seemed to be a problem. Food was okay but nothing special. Won't return in a hurry!

Fantastic limoncello and bruschetta. Close atmosphere promotes conversation. Good rest area for a drink after visiting the Sisi Museum. WiFi could use some improvement.

We came 2 adults and 1 child in the late evening, ordered 2 tomato soups, which clearly wasn’t appreciated by the staff. In the end we have been told we can only pay by cash, however, the people near near us paid by card.

My husband and I just had the most delicious dinner here, and will come back in the next few days for some pasta! Tonight we each ordered just a simple mixed salad and a calzone (long day touring today..), but each was so much better than expected.... The salads were very fresh, and the house calzone was baked to perfection, with blackened crispy bits, strings of cheese... So delicious, and sitting outside on a lovely evening, just made it all the better. Staff was friendly and welcoming, and didn't mind my experimenting in German. Such a delightful visit!

Restaurant itself is cosy. Customer service isn't the best. We were 2 adults and 1 kid. We wanted only like a snack, so got only 2 soups, waitress wasn't really happy that we didn't order any food or drinks. Got not clean cutlery. Soup was quite nice. When we asked for the bill, waitress said it is cash payment only which is kind of funny because seconds after us another customers were able to pay by card. Should put signs or inform people that it is cash only if you are not happy for us to pay by card

The kids were famished after our first concert at a nearby theatre. Good thing this restaurant is open. I finished half of their Quattro Formagi. My husband ate more than half of his Margherita. The kids devoured their Gnocci, Carbonara, and Bolognese!!

We ordered Mozzarella buffalo, but received Mozzarella salad, so make sure the waiter confirmed that he understood what you ordered. We paid for the order, but were left disappointed

Do not order the Risotto Zafferano. It tastes like plain rice. The tagliatelle with scampi is not a good option either. The service is bellow average.

WARNING: does not accept credit cards! There isn't a clear signage posted that we could see stating they did not accept cards. Stopped by to grab some dinner on our way home. Ordered a few pizzas, carbonara, and lasagna. Pretty mediocre food. We would have been better off getting frozen pizza. The portion size for the pizza was decent and the crust was the only good thing about it. The carbonara was bland, I'm pretty salt intolerant and had to apply a large amount of salt, pepper, and Parmesan to give it flavor. The lasagna on arrival was non-appealing aesthetically. The flavoring also bland. Lastly, the customer service was what got to us. Mainly the hostess/waitress (middle age woman with black, unruly hair). My father-in-law ordered a beer that he was unsure of how to pronounce. She corrected him on the pronunciation of the beer which is fine but what was not okay was the condescending attitude in the way she did it. When we attempted to pay with a credit card she rudely told us they didn't accept cards, and to further emphasize it she made hand gestures mimicking a card reader in a condescending way to prove her point. Her mannerism was not friendly nor inviting.

Pizza was Ok but the waitress spent her time to yelling the cook (and vice Versa) so the ambiance was really BAD! Moreover, when it was time to pay, I had the sentiment that paying at a payment Machine was more appreciable than paying to the waitress who did not smile and do not really take care.

The pizzas are very good, the service is fine and the restaurant is cosy. Top location, in the heart of the city, a few steps from the Albertina museum! I don't give it five stars as one is allowed to smoke inside the restaurant, which may be ok for smokers and for people that don't mind having their meal with people smoking in the table next to yours in a closed place.

Perfect! A warm refuge when the weather turned cold. The pizza and pasta were perfect, as was the Italian red wine. The service was very friendly and fast. And the ambience was very authentic Italian. Highly recommended! Thank you.

I can't comment on the food but the service was incredibly rude. Even though we had reserved earlier, on arrival the waitress waved us into silence as she decided to seat the group who came behind us. We were then gestured to a corner behind a group of drinkers. When the menus were tossed on the table we had had enough and left. Definitely a restaurant that leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

Excellent service, it was very fast and friendly. The ambience was very authentic Italian and the food was perfect! The only bad comment is that wine prices are really expensive

We waited almost an hour and a half before being served two mediocre pizzas. When paying, the tried to charge us the table service ("coperto"), a service which historically in Italy is common to charge to cover for sheets laundry. The only thing is, the tables were bare: no tissue sheets, no napkins. We refused to pay for that and got our way.
