Tried the espresso tonic, it was really nice! The food on the other hand was bad. Extremely salty and the sauce had a weird consistency. When the waitress asked us about the food, and we said that is way too salty, she said: hehe, I like my food with more salt… well, good for you. I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️

Unfortunately hardly worthy of recommendation. The menu seemed promising, but upon receiving our food, we were astounded by the laughable portion size, especially given the hefty price tag. The food itself was fairly tasty though, so if money is not an issue knock yourself out. However, as we all know, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and what we got here is certainly not deserving of this attribute. The interior of the place is rather generic.

We went here this afternoon. The atmosphere is nice and this place really has the makings of a good brunch place but there is room for improvement. First, the service is a bit brisk - you have to chase for a few things - but it is polite, and they get the order right. The second thing - the food came out lukewarm verging on cold - it was definitely cooked but I think the time between it being cooked and being served was long, resulting in it being cold. So this comes back to service. But with a bit of improvement, this can be a brilliant brunch place. Written by a person who frequently brunches in London.

Amazing breakfast experience! The menu offers a fantastic selection of both healthy and indulgent options. I tried their avocado toast and it was divine. The smoothies are also a hit – fresh and bursting with flavour. The staff is attentive and the place has a lovely, laid-back vibe.

I don’t give 5 stars. This cafe is incredible. We tried two of their egg dishes and two sweet dishes. We also ordered a few Mélanges which were out of this world. The huevos rancheros are not like the typical American dishes but delicious. The pancakes were fluffy, smeared in Nutella instead of a traditional accompaniment of butter and maple syrup. I prefer my Palatschinken with Nutella or chocolate sauce so this was a disappointment. Portion sizes are just perfect. Service was not super fast but we didn’t mind. The waitperson was very kind and attentive. I would recommend this place.

Unfriendly staff, overpriced food. Food looks great for the Instagram blog, it’s tastes okayish, but nothing special. Prices are over the average, you can eat the same and even better for 2-3€ less. Waiters and Waitresses do not pay attention to you, unless you call them out. Also, waiting time was incredibly long. We got our coffee and orange juices after 30-35 minutes, after we ordered… We booked a table, and when we came, they did not even know which table we reserved, so they told “pick whatever you want from free tables”, however, the choice was not the biggest. In general, service is really bad, as no one notices you. Kurkuma latte tasted a little bit like soap, either sth wrong with the coffee itself, or the glass wasn’t washed properly. Overall, we felt unwelcome.

The food was amazing, and our waitress was super kind and lovely. We wanted a really tasty and filling brunch and saw the reviews online, decided to try them out and we weren’t disappointed. Everything tasted fresh and delicious.

A very good vibe for a morning coffee and brunch! We didn’t have a reservation but the stuff was very polite and caring about finding us a table. I got the Very English dish which is English breakfast (I asked to not have the beans cause I don’t like them) the portion was very good! The pancakes were very soft and light.

It’s always busy but the service remains friendly and competent no matter what. Making a reservation is key though. The food and drinks have always been very good, this is one of the best breakfast places in Vienna.

I was hoping they would have kept more elements from the old post office. However, this is a very casual spot to enjoy good coffee and breakfast/brunch. Beats me why they snubbed cheese and show so much love to eggs but I guess I’d need to take it to the chef. The waiter was in a bad mood too but I get it. Sunday morning = hangover. So she was forgiven instantly.

Great brunch. Terrible service. What was funny is the service was dreadful when busy (30 mins to get Prosecco) and just as bad once everyone left. Nice vibe. Nice staff. Good quality food. Large portions. SLOW

Visited this place for breakfast. We booked the table in advance, but no one cared and the hostess said that we can pick any of the free ones. The food looks good, the taste is OK, but it’s overpriced.. And to be honest, I didn’t feel really welcomed 😬

I've been there a little over a year ago but I think that I'll never forget that place! The service was amazing as well as the coffee and the hot chocolate we ordered. If I ever get the chance, I'll make sure to visit again. As for the prices there is really nothing to complain about, they are pretty reasonable.

A nice place with friendly and prompt staff. The food was good and I like the choice of menu, although some might find it short. But I always prefer just a few well made dishes instead of a long menu filled with dishes rarely made by the kitchen. I had the Huevos Rancheros and a Kyiev cake with hazelnuts, both were good.

I adored Café Telegraph during my family trip to Vienna so much we came back twice! The brunch is really excellent, with something on the menu that will please anyone. Service is quick and sometimes a bit brusque, but everyone we interacted with was kind and courteous. I cannot wait to return to Vienna to eat here again!

Although the portion was rather smaller for the price, it was tasty. The service disappointed me though. One waitress for the whole place.

Went there for a breakfast on Sunday morning. Place is so busy - you definitely have to book in advance for breakfast/lunch during weekends! Glad to see that it’s so popular among people. The food is niiice. My favorite is syrniki, they are making their own apricot marmalade for this dish. Felt like home. Special thank you for a tasty flatwhite on oat milk😍

Late breakfast was gorgeous. Portions were big enough and very tasty. The service was fast and polite. As a big plus, there was a very comfortable atmosphere, so we’ll definitely come back for dinner today.

We waited 15mints to be seated - even though there was no queue. Then waited 25mints for our orders to be taken then waited another 50mints for our food to come- wasted so much of our time. They need more than 3 staff for this cafe

My first visit here and left with the thought i should come back to taste what is left on the menu. Excelent food, both presentation and taste wise, served very fast by a very friendly staff! Offers as well a great variety of desserts. See you soon, Telegraph!

Food was very meh, extremely bland shakshuka with only 1 egg, syrniki were 80% dough and with barely any cheese inside. Service was weird and very rushed. The place itself does not have a nice vibe. Don’t go there.

One of the good places for brunch in Vienna and the coffee is good. The Lebanese plate is a bit too small though … more like a finger food plate.

  • 3/5 Maher G. 1 year ago on Google
The breakfast was average, avocado toast was very normal. The cakes we tried were very good. It was very crowded so I recommend you to do a reservation before u go there. The staff was nice and friendly.

I ordered extra salmon and as you guys can see it was only 1 super thin piece ( I had to pay it like 4,40€ more ) . it's like a joke and a waste of money. The sauce ( royal eggs benedict ) ok but quite salty. And the space is very noisy

  • 3/5 Karina L. 1 year ago on Google
The staff was very nice and friendly. Although we didn’t have the reservation and it was overcrowded they found a spot for us (The reservation is needed!) The coffee was really very very good. I ordered avocado sandwiches and they needed more salt, the bread was a bit dry. The cakes are delicious.

They have a great breakfast menu and drinks with many options, there's something for every taste. I loved the way the poached eggs were made and everything else tasted nice although the hollandaise sauce on the egg dishes was too much. The staff are also friendly and were so nice to accommodate our requests. There coffee mugs are made from recycled coffee so thumbs up for environmental consciousness.

Nice cafe. It’s recommended to get a table, but we were there at 9 when they opened on saturdays, and it was no problem getting a table. Tried avo toast (nice), into the west (good) and avocado detox smoothie (nothing to brag about). Staff was nice.

Nice place to grab coffee or brunch. Lots of avocado options on the menu and a couple of Australian tunes in the playlist: if it wasn't for the Austrian architecture I would have thought I was back in Australia for just a moment :) Only minor issue was the tables not being clean when we sat down, may have just been busy.

Great place for breakfast or brunch, tasty and stylish, good coffee - would love to come again! But you better reserve the table - we were lucky to have the last free one

Perfect place to come and take pictures of the food, because it looks incredible, the taste is fine, but nothing special. Sausage in English breakfast was cold inside, eggs Benedict were not runny. Waitress outside could've paid more attention to the customers, but overall it's okay.

Wanted to check out Café Telegraph for quite a while with all the great stuff I kept hearing. Only went for coffee. The decor was okayish, could've been more theme driven with the name. I enjoyed my Salted Caramel Latte. The Dark hot chocolate that my partner had was pretty okayish. The food menu looked interesting but that plus the pastry menu barely had vegan options to offer, really limiting our choices.

The breakfast here was very tasty! I do recommend to make reservations, even though they were able to seat us almost immediately without one. It was quite busy and the service was not super fast. The shakshuka was very good and filling. I would return here!

Great coffee and food. Small and low key, OK for families, good service. We enjoyed our breakfast.

Nice place with loads of space and cool decor. Prompt and friendly service. Good range of dishes to choose from including a reasonably authentic Full English. I had the "Avo tower" which is mashed avocado on top of scrambled eggs with a layer of gently spiced spinach. Served with a very fresh salad that had pine kernels in it. Very Keto AND tasty, difficult to find and very tasty and filling. A cup of excellent tea set it off nicely. Highly recommended

Everyone was very friendly and food arrived fast. Nice eggs Benedict. But can’t wait to try Syrniki and others🤩🤩🤤🤤 going to go there again! International Cousine! Ukrainian, polish and other country dishes 🙌🏻👍🏻👍🏻 toll! 💙💛

Quite a busy place on Sundays, so reserving a table in advance is highly recommended. Delicious food, nice staff, elements of Ukrainian cuisine (syrniki, wareniki, borsch, Kyiv Torte) round up a pleasant experience. Worth a visit!

First of all the food was fantastic, if you can get a seat. Reservations are a must must must. The team serving here are super busy and when they remember you the food comes out reasonably fast. Can't really come to terms with these new age eco plastic cups for my coffee. It somehow dulls the taste. Can only say good things about the eggs Benedict and the egg Benedict Hemingway. The ingredients were noted as super fresh and the ripest of avocado

Beautiful yet calm place just around the corner of Votiv church. Great cakes, had a carrot cake and it was delicious! Even got a second piece for take away 😊 service was lovely, nothing to complain about. Would definitely recommend.
