Great little place for lunch (open 11:15 AM to 3 PM). The owner is very friendly and will happily explain the menu and guide your selection, if desired. I had the classic sausage with mustard, fried onions, and sauerkraut on a soft and delicious bun. Very tasty! There are a couple tables inside and one small table outside. Service is speedy. It is about 10 Euros for a classic sausage on a bun along with a soft drink. I would happily eat there again!

Best hot dog I’ve ever had. It’s a tiny space, but the service is extremely fast and friendly. The hot dog is served on a soft brioche like bun, with some sauerkraut on top, 10/10 would recommend. Amazing choice for lunch - would come again.

The ´restaurant´ is very small and was super crowded when we arrived. That did not stop the owner to be super friendly to everyone! We waited about 25min outside until a table was available. The hotdogs were great, worth the wait!

The finest hot dog I have ever tasted. Although I added extra bacon and melted cheese to the traditional Vienna sausage, it is not necessary. When we asked for advice on where to go in Vienna, the attendant was really helpful and full of enthusiasm. We had 2 hot dogs each, posting picture of the menu, I hope I can help. This is a 5 star hotdog for sure, small place you might not be able to sit.

Wonderful little shop with great food and service. Thoroughly enjoyed the Vienna classic hot dog and beer. Owner was super helpful with recommendation for visitors, even had a laser pointer to use on the large map on the side wall. All round good vibes and definitely worth checking out.

This has been without a doubt the best hot-dog I ever had, by far. The owner is a great host. We followed his suggestions and fully enjoyed our time there. He puts extreme care in what he does and this shows in the quality of the final experience. Wish you the best!

Amazing place! We got greeted by the owner and he told us about the menu (the restaurant was almost closing so there were not a lot of customers). Food was just amazingly delicious. Service was extremely wonderful and it’s usually a busy place but totally worth it. Stop by and you would not be disappointed.

I will recommend this. Not sure if it’s the owner but he really explains the sausage to you, even giving tips to walking around the city.

Delicious! I had the classic Vienna sausage with the fried onions, sauerkraut, ketchup and mustard on a toasted poppy seed bun. The guy who greeted me at the door was so welcoming and patiently explained the menu. Great food. Great experience!

“Keeping things simple” the best way. Delicious, classic and chill out vibes! I had the classic Vienna sausage with the fried onions, sauerkraut, ketchup and mustard on a toasted poppy seed bun. Everything was fresh, delicious and to the point. Rene, the owner & manager, had another level of excitement and energy to serve his customers. He was so welcoming and patiently explained the menu. Great food. Great experience!

Highly recommended. Classic vienna style cheesy sausage (kaisekrainer) with homemade bun and sauerkraut. Tasty, filling and cheap. So good, I had to get two. Staff also very welcoming and friendly.

Great, small hot dog restaurant in Vienna. Affordable for the area and tastes great! Service is friendly and informative. Recommends the Classic Vienna, I ate it and ordered a custom hot dog after. Very fun spot, will return.

Definitely a must-go in Wien. You can either choose the classic vienna sausages or compose your own one. We did both. They were amazing. The owner, Rene, was extremely kind and friendly, and he was willing to help us with the menu; he also gave us information about the city.

After different days of research for the best hot dog in Vienna I found it here. I recommend it for the attention about the ingredients and for the friendly atmosphere. It’s also the perfect restaurant for Italians who don’t speak German and English.

Excellent! the best hot dogs in Vienna. The place is tiny and instead of being an inconvenience it is part of its charm. The attention is kind and fast. It is an experience. 100% recommended

The food is delicious, all the sausages (we did try them all) are tasty and perfectly cooked. The toppings are pretty good. The shop itself is small but if you don’t mind being a little squished when you stand up, it’s amazing. We come from Italy and the menu is in Italian as well! The super friendly and enthusiastic owner talks a bit do every language and made it even better. We’ll definitely come back!

We visited Vienna Sausage after seeing the other great reviews this place has and it didn’t disappoint. The owner was very friendly, he explained the menu to us on arrival and made an effort to ask us where we were from and offered to give us information about Vienna while we were here. Whilst waiting many other customers entered who spoke all different languages, the owner made an effort to talk to them in their native language which made for a great atmosphere - we thought that was a nice touch. The food itself was great, I could have easily eaten another! I will visit again on my next trip to Vienna.

A Quick Bite, Packed with Flavor Tucked within the bustling lanes, Vienna Sausage stands as a haven for fast-food aficionados. The spotlight here is firmly on their sausage – a no-fuss, straightforward delight that promises and delivers robust flavors. It's the kind of fare that instantly elevates your mood, making the rush of the city feel a tad slower, a bit more enjoyable. The personnel here is a highlight, their friendly demeanor matching the casual and upbeat atmosphere of the place. They ensure your order is perfect and the service is swift, making it a seamless experience even during the busiest hours. The ambiance is unpretentious and relaxed, exactly what you'd expect from a place where good food takes center stage. It's an informal setting where everyone is welcomed to enjoy a tasty bite without any fuss. Vienna Sausage is a reminder that great food doesn’t need a grand stage, but a dedicated team and a knack for simplicity. It’s a spot that beckons for a quick visit, but leaves a lasting impression with its honest flavors and warm service.

A perfect comfort food. The kasekrauner (cheese sausage) was really good. Gotta try it with the Vienna mustard & horseradish. The owner is also super friendly and helpful 😍.

Great sausage (we went with the most popular one suggested by their crew). The host was a very funny guy and the overall experience was more than expected. Will visit them again for sure. The only downside could be the size of the place and working hours).

I recommend you visit Vienna Sausage caffee and try hot dogs. It's situated near subway station Schottentor U2 line. I ate New York city one with such sauer cabbage (sauerkraut) as I like it. A bun was soft. Maybe one hot dog it's not enough, it didn't feed me. Next time I will eat two hot dogs. At first day i was late because they work until 3p.m. and i had to wait for next day. Owner or chef is communicative and hospitable fellow. He recommends how to visit a fiew historical buildings, museums which are situated near his location along Universitätsring, Burgring.

As a tourist only in Vienna for 2 days, this place is perfect for a quick and inexpensive bite on the go. The food is good and very traditional; the staff is friendly and they even gave me tips on what to visit during my stay. Highly recommended!

Best Vienna sausage ever! We highly recommend it!! The service was really good and faster. The owner was very kind and friendly. He'd help you if you don't know how continue your trip (recommendations about where to go and best places in Vienna). The sausage was amazing and delicious, you shouldn't go back home without visiting "Vienna sausage". You can dine in or take away. The price without drinks is almost 10€ for 2 sausages. Thanks guys for your service!

Great hot dogs, great place, great owner! Food was really good and a good price too. The owner spoke with us for nearly an hour giving us tips and advice on things to do and places to see in Vienna and around Austria. We'll worth a visit, a must when in Vienna!

In Vienna sausage I found a young and committed owner, putting his love for the city and typical genuine food of Austria in great traditional sausages (also with vegan options) at honest prices. If you pass by, give it a try.

Friendly owner and great sausage and bun. Definitely a must try if you’re in town. I hope the Greek guy working there got the bag of all of that I left behind the door as a souvenir! Cheers boys :-)

Wonderful place with super friendly staff/owner who had great recommendations for Vienna. The käsekrainer was smoky and had melted Austrian cheese inside. Recommend 👍

Our favourite meal from our trip to Vienna! The sausages are tender and delicious and freshly prepared, not sat out all day under a grill. The bun and toppings are equally fresh and tasty, creating a perfect flavour combination. The prices are also very reasonable, especially for the clear quality of the food and a reasonable portion. Finally, the host here is also extremely friendly and helpful, and speaks excellent English as well as German, and is very welcoming of tourists from all over. He is very knowledgeable about the city and was happy to give recommendations for tourist activities and bars/restaurants to try nearby. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough, a must-try for both the food and the company!
