Low quality, not tasty at all, overpriced food and bad wine! So disappointed!

Due to underground car park construction, apparently closed for several years, as of July 2020

Food was good, but we had to wait 40 minutes for goulash. It also arrived little bit on cold side.

Was on the terrace of the restaurant in October when the weather was very nice. We happened by chance and decided to eat schnitzel. We were quite surprised: good quality, but uninspired staff - something we've never experienced before in Vienna (as far as service is concerned...)

Some of the worst off i ever had. Minced viel... Minced for a reason, full of fat. Potatoes were lumpy, watery, burnt, seemed reheated. Waited almost 30for desert before cancelling... Waitress tried to convince me to wait a further 20minutes. 2minutes in there is too much of a waste of your life.

Interesting and delicious variety on local foods and unique seasonal dishes. Not a large beer selection, but what they had was very worthwhile. The restaurant was one of the few in the area serving more local dishes.

Very nice little restaurant. The waitresses were both really nice. Food was nice as well, not wow factor, but above average definitely. Menus in English was available and the girls both spoke English too. But restaurant kept its Austrian feel, which was important and was cosy and warmly lit.

Since 3 years ago each time we visit Vienna we came to Ferdinand to have the lunch. Today 28 nov 2018 was the last time we went to this restaurant. We received spoiled food (potato salad - acid taste, unbeliveble bad smell) and the personnel behaviour was like nothing is happening. They changed the food, buy same bad quality - they tried to hide the smell by ading green salad on top. No excuse, no nothing. At the end they charged us including for spoiled food and asked also for tip!!!! We will never come back. After 3 years, it was the last time eating here. One more rematk ... prices on Ferdinand are above average and they are not supported by quality.

Popped into here when a restaurant I was planning to use was almost empty - suspect that other restaurant had priced itself too high and was suffering as a consequence, so I found Ferdinandt by accident. Good restaurant with classical dishes and some seasonal ones. A little pricier than those further out but unpretentious, good food, with a warm welcome. Several languages spoken and no problems getting a table on spec. Had the Tafelspitz followed by Sachertort – both very good. Nice Heller style beer and a decent Gruner Veltliner.

Avoid because it is very expensive for the quality of service and lackluster food

We went a family of 4 and loved the experience. Ate pumpkin soup, goulash, and turkey platter for two and everything was very delicious. Service is good, atmosphere - very pleasant and typical Austrian. Recommended.

Regular restaurant with nothing special to tourists but maybe locals. White wine served was almost hard to notice in the glass. Food was delicious though.

The food was OK/good, nothing special. A bit pricey for the food served.
