Lovely park for a walk or just to sit and chill. Lots of kids were playing in different compounds when we visited on a Monday morning in June. I had fun walking. There was also water sprinkler fountains, in case you felt too hot. It has many spots to sit and relax/ grassy area to run around.

A nice and peaceful park in the middle of the city for you to escape from the buildings and rejoice with nature. It has multiple rows and is quite large so you may walk around randomly not needing to think of a specific route to enjoy your time. There is a lake as well as a river for you to walk around so you may enjoy the view of the water as well.

Beautiful place full of nature in the middle of Vienna. A popular place among the locals and young people. Gardens are well looked after and full of flowers. You can sit on the grass to enjoy some sun, take a walk or have your packed lunch. There is a also a beer garden where you can enjoy a cold pint and a Wiener Schnitzel.

Beautiful landscaped park near the very center, with a variety of flora, many magnificent monuments, and places for recreation. Small but very busy. Maybe you also will be lucky to get to the wine festival there!)

It is a nice park with many historical figures’ statues. As U2 and U4 have stations here it is not difficult to access. It was very quiet inside of the park despite being located in the middle of busy city. In addition, ice cream shops are close!

Visited in 2022. This is a gorgeous park. We actually made time before dinner to walk around and you can easily spend an hour they have a few restaurants at the entrance of the park and a coffee cart in the center of the park. Beautiful statues placed around the park. Definitely worth a walk through.

Stadt park means city park, located in the heart of Vienna. You will be mesmerised with the lush greenery along with peaceful serene surroundings. It has a beautiful lake with ducks and birds residing. So peaceful to sit, watch and lost in the beauty. There are plenty of benches all around to sit and relax amidst nature. There is always a better place to sit and enjoy the views. Also, it’s not very far from stephenplatz (the main city centre) approx one kilometre. The stadt park metro station is right beside the park. So you can’t miss this beauty when in Vienna.

Vienna doesn’t do great parks - it does excellent parks. This is my favourite one so far. Sit back and enjoy sunshine. People watch. Listen to live music. Enjoy a cold drink.

It's a wonderful park in Vienna. Unlike a normal park, you'll find tons of greenery, flowers, activities, meetups, monuments. Very friendlya and peaceful place to sit with your partner or friends maybe. You'll definitely like it. Putting some pictures of my own. I've visited in the evening and I loved it.

Stadtpark, or City Park, is one of the largest and most beautiful public parks in Vienna, Austria. It is a splendid tourist attraction and an important site for relaxation and strolling in the Austrian capital. The park was established in the 19th century and is known for its serene and elegant design, featuring lush trees, colorful flowerbeds, and small lakes. One of its most famous landmarks is the statue of Johann Strauss II, one of Austria's most important composers of classical music. Stadtpark is an ideal place for leisurely walks and enjoying the outdoors. It offers tranquil areas for relaxation and leisurely strolls and is open to visitors year-round. Whether you want to explore the park on your own or with family and friends, you'll find a peaceful and beautiful environment to enjoy your time in Vienna.

the most peaceful and energizing park in vienna. It is such a clean and romantic place with its big trees to sit or lay down under. Definitely a must see when you are in vienna. Also great with kids. It has a small artificial lake inside.

This must be the saddest city park I’ve ever seen. When you step in from the entrance closest to the underground the first thing you see is the “flood” which look more like a sewer hole with ugly graffiti everywhere. The garden felt pretty average and is probably much nicer in the warmer months in full bloom.

Nice park, in winter with a good atmosphere ice rink and pleasant music. I recommend to buy the ticket online or at the entrance at the ticket machine. There are several cloak rooms and lockers. You can also rent ice skates.

Beautiful park in the heart of Vienna with many statuses of public figures, make sure you don't miss them. The park is really huge so check the pictures first and try to see as much of it as you can. You can chill on the grass, public restrooms are available and it's easily accessible with public transport.

Walking through this park was a very tranquil and scenic experience. There are trees, large open spaces, flowing water, statues, flowers. The trees and greenery are very well tended. Highly recommended during a visit to Vienna!

I went for a night walk on a weekday, as I was busy all day and was surprised by the number of young people I saw. The park is beautiful and has nice spots to sit and relax. This is something that Viennese youngsters appreciate. The park has a number of statues which can be seen during the night as they are lightned. Finally the Wiental canal on the side of the park gives an extra point to the park. I should visit this park and during the day.

Site not so big, but has a lot of nice corners: lake, lawns, foutains, famous sculptures, even small waterfall and landscapes. Nice to find out such green quiet place in the middle of big city.

Lovely old park with a real sense of age and character. Would be better in the summer, but it still has its appeal in winter. Lots of seats, various statues to notable historical figures, and lots of happy people walking and enjoying life. Check out Espresso Mobil if you want a coffee.

Vienna Stadtpark is a charming urban park located in Vienna, Austria. Covering an area of approximately 65,000 square meters, it offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. The park is famous for its lush greenery, elegant pathways, and vibrant flower beds. It is home to various statues and monuments, including the famous golden statue of Johann Strauss II. Vienna Stadtpark provides a serene setting for leisurely strolls, picnics, and enjoying the beauty of nature. In Vienna's Stadtpark, beneath my ancient crown, I stand as a witness to musicians renowned. Come, weary souls, to this tranquil abode, Where melodies of the past serenade and unfold. Sit beside me, dear visitor, rest your weary bones, As music wafts through the air, a symphony of tones. Feel the whispers of history, caressing your ears, As notes dance on breezes, dispelling all fears. Johann Strauss conducts with his golden baton, His waltzes enchant, setting hearts to a con. Schubert's melodies, tender and profound, In this haven of peace, their beauty resounds. Mozart, immortal, in stone forever preserved, His genius unyielding, his spirit undisturbed. Let their harmonies embrace your soul's core, As time fades away, and worries are no more. Amidst nature's embrace, find solace and peace, Let melodies transport you, all worries release. Together, we'll sit, beneath nature's grand art, A timeless symphony, a balm for the heart. So come, dear visitor, seek solace and rest, In Vienna's Stadtpark, you'll be truly blessed. Join the musicians, both living and past, Sit silently, dear friend, and let peace ever last.

It is a great park. The grass is very green and it is right by the city center. This is more for people who live in vienna since there really isn't much to do besides have picnics and other stuff you do in parks. But if you want to play sports. Then you should go to the Prater.

A great park to cool off after a long walk visiting Austria. You can sit in the grass and watch the sky as long as you want. There are occasionaly small concerts of rising artists. I recommend visiting it because is exactly what you what from a park: quietness and fresh air. On the other side, it was a little dirtier than I expected, but nothing ridiculous.
