I love it here ! Such and amazing view of Vienna and so convenient with a bus to the city right outside the gate . They also sell the tickets you need as well so there is no stress with that. The restaurant has great and helpful staff and were very knowledgeable. The view from the terrace at the restaurant is simply amazing and my photos just don’t do it justice . The room is clean and fresh and it’s great to be here, so peaceful and calm

We had an awesome stay here! The hotel looks like a Palace on the top of a hill! There are great views of Vienna and nice walks nearby are available. Our room was very big and very clean. There was tv, fridge, kettle with tea & coffee. Really appreciate when there is kettle and fridge as I love to drink tea and need fridge for milk. Beds were comfortable. Room had no air conditioning but a fan was available. It was a really hot day, around 25 degrees c, but the room didn't feel too hot when we arrived, maybe because hotel is on top of a hill. Not sure what it will be like if it's hotter. The fan was a bit noisy. There was also safe and large wardrobe and a nice bin. Bathroom was also very clean. Hairdryer, shower gel and hand soap also provided. Worth mentioning that bathroom had ventilation that works and plenty of hooks, it is surprising how many hotels, even 5 star ones can't get this right! Outside there was plenty of free parking which is rare for Vienna. I guess a car is a must if you are going to stay here, it's location is not convenient if you don't have a car, especially the hill will be challenging. The breakfast was buffet, and the choice was so varied, one of the best I have seen, bread, fruits, ham, salad, cereal, hot food, juices, tea and coffee... So much choice. It was served in a room connected to outside Terrace with amazing views of Vienna! Just awesome! I can whole heartedly recommended this hotel to anyone considering!

This was my second time with a group of friends! The castle is in a wonderful location, in a quiet area, away from the noise of the city. The breakfast and dinner room is fabulous, as is the view of Vienna from the restaurant's terrace!Public transport is a few meters away from the main bus line, from here you can get into the city quickly and easily!

Old-fashioned luxury, pet-friendly hotel on a hill, with high rooms and tall wooden windows facing towards Vienna. You can feel here like you were sleeping in an old University, surrounded by a huge green area. You have a wonderful view of the city from almost all rooms and also from the terrace. You can hear the birds singing even on sunny winter days. The hosts are truly welcoming and caring people. The bus station of 46A and 46B lines are just in front of the gate. There is also a big free parking place in front of the hotel.

Excellent location, staff and rooms. But 22 euro charging the car? Regardless of consumption. Plug in cars => small battery => you could adapt the policy.

A beautiful restaurant with a magnificent view of Vienna, the food as well as the selection of drinks are adequate and at reasonable prices, the service is also good. There are also vegan and vegetarian options. Recommendation!

A beautiful complex surrounded by greenery on the top of a hill with a panoramic view of the whole Vienna. But when the days are too hot, as is the case this August, my choice would not be this accommodation because there is no air conditioning, it is unbearably hot in the room and impossible for sleeping during the night. I’m sure that they don’t have air conditioning because of the old-fashion building appearance disturbing problem. But the solution for a hotel like this is certainly not fan in the room, especially if they want to have a full accommodation capacity during the summer. That would be the only complaint, everything else is at a solid level and follows the price of accommodation.

The location is stunning! You can enjoy the Vienna view and the park is lovely. Breakfast is OK, but eating outside on a terrace with birds chirping takes it to the next level. The corridors are spacious and the huge windows give you a lot of breathing space. If only someone invested in the rooms it could easily be a 5 star hotel.

We are very pleased. We were with a trailer with a yacht. There was no problem with parking. We even used the parking lot all day so we could walk and explore the city. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel with a connection to the metro that takes you to the center of Vienna.

I arrived with my family, two adults and one child, in December 2023. We are staying in room 221. The location is beautiful and the hotel is impressive, but it doesn't deserve its four stars. The interior is old and neglected. We have a room with two beds upstairs and a sofa downstairs. The internal staircase creaks very loudly and you can hear everything from upstairs. The food at the restaurant is to be avoided. I ordered a beef soup that was served in a cup with a single dumpling and no meat. The soup was also from a packet. My daughter ordered sausages, which were almost raw. I do not recommend eating here.

It is not a 4 star hotel!!! It was very cold in the room, the thermostat was blocked, the radiators were very cold at the bottom, only a little warm at the top... When I told them that it was very cold in the room, they said they would send someone. Do you know what they did? they came and tied the curtain!!! They didn't have slippers, the shower floor was dirty, the carpet was stained and shabby etc ... By no means is it a 4-star hotel... It was a bad experience

We stayed in an executive room. Overal the place is gorgeous. The view over Wien was fantastic. The staff was helpful and kind. The room was okay, although it felt really small and cramped. What i think is the worst in them is the bathroom. It is really small, and it has a semi see-through glass dor right in front of the toilet, and also the fitting of thr doot is a bit too small so there is a gap around the door. So expect zero privacy while in the bathroom. Also the gallery bed was a bit too warm, because the warm air stuck close to the ceiling. There was a fan put next to the bed, but there is only one socket next to the bed, so either forget charging your phone, or live with the warmth. (Alao forget charging 2 phones at the same time). The restaurant is nice, and the food tasted good, but we have seen a cockroach roaming under the tables, which really hindered the experience. The breakfast has a large assortment of food that is quite delicious, but the number of tables are really low compared to the capacity of the hotel. Overall, the feeling of the castle and the view compensated for the more problematic parts and overall i can say we had a nice overnight stay here.

Personal sehr sehr zuvorkommend. 💚💚💚

Rooms are not really modern, but decent. Location, views, easy to access free parking and fantastic breakfast terrace move the overall balance to "fantastic". I'll be back here!

Lovely place to stay 🙌🏼 worth it We stayed here 3 Nights in April 2022 Old school feeling 😄 Building is Huge and fantastic. Upon entering the room I was skeptical but I very quickly adjusted to the European style bed and it's firmness. Everything was very clean though old but that added to the historic experience you really can't get in the states. My husband and I walked around on the grounds and loved the peacefulness outside being in the city that we hopped over to via bus and uban easily from the hotel entry. We would for sure stay again if travel allows!

Booked 2 bedroom suite at a high price but the room had one porthole window in the one room and no window in the other room…not one for those who are claustrophobic! Luckily the lovely young man on reception sorted us out with a satisfactory room( but didn’t mention the wedding that was in the function room below us which went on until 2am!) and we could then enjoy the stunning views and lovely food.

The Austriatrend Hotel Wilhelminenberg is a historic hotel located in the 16th district of Vienna, Austria. The hotel is situated on a hill overlooking the city, and is surrounded by a park with hiking trails and panoramic views of Vienna. The building itself dates back to the late 18th century, and was originally a palace before being converted into a hotel in the early 20th century. The hotel features 87 rooms and suites, a restaurant, bar, and conference facilities, as well as a spa and fitness center. The Austriatrend Hotel Wilhelminenberg is a popular destination for travelers looking for a unique and tranquil stay in Vienna, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center

You have to drive up and more inward from the town. It was blended in with other buildings, and you have to look for it. There was a sign, but not visible. It's a huge building, like an old castle. The architecture is ancient, but it has a new look. The food buffet was excellent. Since their garden is so big and is surrounded by trees, there is nothing much to view from the windows. The staff was polite abd professional. They have free parking. We stayed only one night. Rooms take longer to heat up. The bedrooms look ancient. But we had a good stay.

Rooms are a bit old-fashioned (it's an old palace after all), but apart from that, staff is lovely, food great and the view is phenomenal.

Very nice hotel. Everything was extra. EV charger is 20 EUR/night which is expensive for the area.

The hotel is very old style. I got vibes of The Shining while being in the hallways lol. Overall Ok hotel since the rooms were quite old and there was no drinking water available in the room. Moreover, the bathroom was very small. The breakfat and the view was quite good but the hotel is very far from the city center. Overall OK experience

A Beautiful property in Vienna with amazing views of the city. Loved everything about the place, the ambience, rooms, friendly staff, city view from each room, easy connectivity with the city centre via bus just from the front of the hotel. All in all had a superb experience and highly recommended.

To say this is a 4 star hotel is a bit of a stretch. Small rooms, and not the tiddy ones, kept in good shape. Employees seem ok, so does the food, but surely isnt a proper 4 star location

No room service. No food delivery to the room. If you come later than 22:00 you will not be able to have any food. Though they write on the booking that they have food delivery.

The hotel looks amazing on the outside, a real castle. Rooms are small, cozy and furnished with a vintage touch. Very close to downtown Vienna with a bus stop nearby.

Very good hotel. Liked everything. The views from the window are stunning, the place where the hotel is located is a natural treasure. Yes, it is a little far from the center, but transport runs very often and it is not difficult to get there. At the reception you can call a taxi, which will definitely come and take you where you need to go. I recommend this hotel to everyone.
