Would give a minus 100 if possible. I made reservation a year in advance(since I’m going to attend a concert nearby). A week later the property “sold out “ and canceled my reservation even though I made it long before the sold out , now I see that they sell again the same nights they canceled me for price that is four times more than what I originally reserved. So the property understood there is a popular concert those nights and they decided to cancel my booking so they could sell those nights for a much higher price

The hotel is very nice, clean, comfortable. It is located close to the main attractions. There is a small fridge, a big TV, air conditioning, soap and shampoo, comfortable bed, the food at the restaurant is great. There is also a kettle, coffee machine, hair dryer, tea and coffee. The rooms are cleaned every day. The personnel is very polite, although not everyone speaks English.

Had a great stay there. Rooms are modern and clean and have a great layout. Bed was comfy and amenities such as a capsule coffee maker and a fridge are available in the room. The location is fantastic, close to Prater and the WU Vienna. A 12 pm checkout time is super convenient and much appreciated. The breakfast buffet is also great and they do cater for a gluten-free diet. I tried their restaurant as well and can recommend it.

The hotel is conveniently located near the subway, very contemporary & comfortable. Staff are very helpful & cheerful. Check-in area was just a couple of friendly faces with lap-tops on round tables.The lobby had a nice, open-concept space, with a restaurant, separate bar area, extra seating & hanging swing chairs. Rooms are comfortable, very efficient, with lots of hooks, knobs, built-in & extra hangers on the wall, instead of closet space. Lots of very creative storage options in the room, for those of us that appreciate organization. Very different from other hotels & very cool. The only issue we experienced was the lack of housekeeping restocking supplies in our room. No coffee one day, no cups the next, no toilet paper (Gasp!) on Day 3. Reception was more than helpful to our requests for missing items. I would definitely stay there again.

Our 4- night stay has been comfortable. Room space and toilet are both great. 5 min walk to train station, Macdonald, Hofer ( supermkt) and few other eateries. The location and facilities of hotel will be more suitable for guests who are individuals, couples or family with older kids.

Our experience at this modern gem in Leopoldstadt was nothing short of fantastic! The hosts were brilliant, the location perfect for exploring Vienna, with a train station just a 3-minute walk away. The super comfy beds and spacious rooms made our family feel right at home. Highly recommend this hotel – we're already looking forward to our next visit! Vienna, we miss you!

Excellent hotel in a very good location and beautiful neighborhood. The rooms were very nice, modern and clean, with very comfortable beds and nice views. The breakfast was quite rich and fresh with many tasty options. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it and will definitely visit again in the future.

I visited Vienna for the first time a couple of months ago and stayed at Bassena during my visit. It did not only make my first stay in Vienna pleasant, but also left a good impression of Austrian hotels in general. The hotel is incredibly clean, modern and stylish. It has a parking lot and the location is strategic. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a place to stay in Vienna!

I came with my daughters and we enjoyed staying at the hotel. The area is very near to Prater park and we loved the view and the surroundings. Very relaxing! I would come back for sure at the same hotel when I will come back in Vienna. Thank you so much!

Absolutely wonderful experience! The staff was friendly and inviting. The hotel is red friendly and we stayed with our dog. When we came down without her they told us she is also welcome in the lobby. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety. Will definitely stay here again when we come to Vienna.

Hotel very nice, clean and quiet (even though fully booked due to Harry Styles concert nearby), nothing to complain about. The location is great if you are attending a concert at the stadium, and the amusement park next to it was a nice surprise. It is close enough the metro station as well for exploring the city - the city center is just a couple of stops away.

Very nice hotel at a great location. My bf and I had fun at the amusement park nearby. It's only a few minutes away from the subway, which was so convenient. The room was spotless. This hotel made us want to stay in Vienna for an additional day.

We got there early in the morning. Around 10am, way too early for the 3pm check-in, and they were still able to give us a room. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The room was clean and very spacey. We were definitely surprised by how modern it was. My friend and I booked 1 room and it was most definitely enough. The products were also high quality. And after we checked-out, we were able to still leave our baggage in a safe while we used up our time left in Vienna. 110% would recommend and we’ll be back!!

Very nice hotel, rooms are clean and beds are great. Breakfast is a cut above most other hotels, there is some kind of water theme going on, they have pair of garden water taps in the middle of lobby and lots of empty glass bottles, not sure what that's all about. Location is also good, near uban and prater so you can also get some adrenaline if so desired.

Very nice hotel well situated close to public transport options. Everything seemed newly renovated, meaning rooms were decorated with a modern style and high-tech features such as streaming from your own devices onto the TV. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the lobby served as a great communal space with a café/bar/restaurant with many food and drinks options. Would definitely recommend!

Overall, it was a 10/10 stay. Amazing hotel, new appliances, comfortable bed, and what I loved as well was the nice smell from the amenity products in the bathroom. I love products with nice smell and quality, and at Bassena, it was great! Beautiful place and near the metro station + Prater park, which is why I also chose the hotel. Thank you all for making my friend and I have a pleasant stay ❤️

very nice hotel with super comfortable and well organized rooms. too bad there was no bidet in the toilet. the position is very close to the convention center, making this hotel perfect if you need to go there. the assistance at reception was nice, too bad the payment method was a pain, but the ladies at the desk were kind.

A very clean and modern property 5 mins away from Prater Park. While it is outside of the city center, it is 5 mins away from Messe-Prater metro station. The neighborhood is very quiet and the facilities were sufficient for a great stay! We will definitely choose this hotel again when we come back to Vienna.

I have visited this hotel twice in the last 7 years... Unfortunately the stuff was rude and the room wasn't clean as it should for the money we paid... I wouldn't recommend it for vacation, but for a business trip is good!

It was a pleasure staying at the Bassena. It is well situated with easy walking distance to the metro, other restaurants and entertainment hubs. The rooms were clean and the coffee machine in the room much appreciated! The Staff were helpful and polite. Thank you!

After a long day of sightseeing in the city, the lobby and the hotel restaurant were pleasant places to read a book with a cup of tea. Very friendly staff - I asked about a book they had on display in one of the bookshelf - and the next day I found it in my room as a gift. Memorable experience!

A very modern hotel, we had a wonderful stay. The breakfast vas delicious, with something for everyone, the rooms are clean and cozy. Everything you need from a hotel, the staff is kind and helpful.

Hotel infraestructura is good, location is fantastic, in special if you are studying at WU university. However customer service is horrible and for the price you pay I would expect that breakfast is included in the price. Not worth the price !!! I stayed 2 weeks ago in another hotel in the neighbourhood much more cheaper,customer was fantastic and rooms and hotel environment were far better for a much lower price.

We stayed one night at this hotel. Our flight arrived in the morning, and they were able to give us 2 clean rooms at 10 am, whereas the checkin was at 3pm, for no extra cost. Hotel is very cute, neat and clean. Loved the room as well. It was very functional, had modern touches. Came with kettle and coffee maker, which was a plus. It is very close to the nearest metro, and a great amusement park. It was very quiet at night. Would definitely stay here again if I get a chance

The staff were really friendly and helpful, they assist us in every question we had. Location is near metro U2 and can reach the 1st quarter in 15 minutes. Room was clean and tidy, felt like the room was all new and designed well. Breakfast was great, many thing to choose from, but each morning it was quite the same. At the end we were happy choosing Bassena, great choice! and will definitely come back in the our next visit. Thumbs up !

A nice international hotel with comfortable rooms and decoration, quite but not totally flattened by international standards. Excellent breakfast with a variety of sweet and salty foods. This is not the nicest area of Vienna but it's well connected and close to Prater if you have kids

Superb service on the front desk. A wonderful chap and another who runs the restaurant and bar. A good food menu and choice of drinks too at the bar. A great atmosphere. It only gets 4 stars instead of 5 as I am here for 4 nights, it's not cheap and breakfast was not included which was disappointing. So I have no breakfast but even a gesture of one morning free would have been nice - I actually only have coffee and a yoghurt/cereal. Here for a conference and so I think the rate sneaked up but to have no breakfast when I compare with my colleagues also staying in Vienna, seems wrong.

I stayed here for two nights on 26 until 28. Overall it was nice stay. The check-in was quick and reception staff were kind and helpful. There’s parking available for 23 something a night, though its a small parking garage. Its close to Prater park and gas station like 10 minutes walk, not so much breakfast choices for middle eastern guests but its better than ones I had in Munich and others. I would stay here again.

The best hotel I visited for a very long time. Its clean, receptionists are very kind and helpful and I am very amazed by a full customer service of the hotel. I am highly recommending and I will visit this hotel during my next stop in Wien again.

After an almost two weeks journey in different European cities, this hotel was a great ending for us. I really loved it. It's so beautiful with nice and clean decorations. Colors are relaxing and amazing. Staff are so friendly. Rooms are super clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is somewhere between airport and city center and you can get to either of them just by one metro. Metro station is 3 minutes away. If one day I come back to Vienna, I will definitely stay in this hotel 🏨

We are here for 5 nights and excellent service so far. The staff are very helpful and lovely. My first impression on any place is the bathrooms. A* so perfectly clean and fresh. The hotel looks like that all over too. Perfect.

I would easily give 5 stars if we started off good at reception. We checked in on 23/12 and figured out our payment wasn't through due to the website we used. The receptionist wasn't helpful and tried to charge the full amount rather than finding the solution to the problem. His explanations were not clear regarding the room types we chose. Other than that, the rooms were extremely clean, cleaning staff were professionals. Breakfast had everything we could ask for. I would recommend you to call and check with them if the payment was successful prior to the check-in.

I really enjoyed my experience at this hotel, I stayed only for two nights but everything was great nonetheless, very nice staff and the rooms were very clean, lots of different food was provided for breakfast. It is also very close to the subway which allows you to get the to the centre of the city rather quickly. If I'm ever coming back to Vienna I'm definitely going to stay here again.

Stayed for three nights in a double room and had a lovely time. Everything was super clean and modern, in the room and throughout the hotel. Very close to the metro so quick to get to all sights. Room was well equipped and very comfortable. The casting to the TV wasn't working initially but we spoke to reception and it was fixed quickly. The only thing I noticed was that the air con wasn't very cooling but overall an amazing stay would recommend

Good, clean hotel for business. Walkable distance for Praterstern train station, close to U-ban station. Well located for WU. Staff is super helpful, the breakfast is good and you can have a decent dinner if you want to stay in. No room-service, but that was not an issue.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is new and very clean. Very near of Prater and with very good communication by subway. Food and drinks were perfect. No doubt, If I go to Vienna again it will be my hotel!

Stayed there for one night last week on room #617. The room was spacious and had everything I needed. Reception staff was friendly and accommodating. And more than anything else, the breakfast! The food was really nice and the kitchen staff -- whether cooking or serving -- was beyond excellent. The menu was small but all the food tasted really nice and was perfectly cooked, and the serving staff was attentive and amazingly quick. The only downside is that my room (room #617) was right next to elevators and I could hear the clanking and clunking sound of the elevator system moving and running until late at night and from early in the morning. I went to bed late because of the sound and got woken up early in the morning because of that constant sound. Thank God I stayed in the room for only one night but the hotel really should leave the room unoccupied or do something about soundproof system. Overall a nice stay, though.
