Room is clean, staff is kind, but don't expect too much. The outfit of the room is quite strange and ridiculous, there is no bathroom, only the toilet is separated, you can see your partner from the bed while having a shower. Breakfast is fine, but not too various, the menu was the same every day. It's good that it's close to the subway, you can reach Stephansplatz in 17 minutes. For the purpose it was convenient. Recommend it for minimalist people.

A two beds room for only very close friends. Luckily I was there alone due to no available single rooms. But seriously, the bathroom inside the room was insane. Also it was impossible to set the shower to a comfortable temperature, it was either scalding or cold, the room to find the correct temperature was like a fraction of a millimetre. There was something that looked like a poo stain on the wall at the toilet and a black stain (mold?) on the top of the blinds when pulled down fully. Otherwise the room looked clean and with window closed I haven’t heard any noise. I had to turn off the AC because it was very loud. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was simple but nice.

Just checked in, so may edit. Room is lovely and quiet, hopefully it stays that way. Clean and comfortable, but basic. Nice helpful reception. Great value for money. Only negative is the often mentioned lukewarm water but I will give running it for a while ago. Shouldn't really have to though. Though that is only when it is quiet, in the morning it worked fine and I upgraded the score. Reasonable location from the Subway. Useful Spar store nearby too. Would I stay again. Most likely.

Don't Don't Don't try ❌❌❌ Worst choice you can choose in the ibis group Room is gloomy, lighting is uncomfortable, window view is dark, and I will attach videos and pictures for further clarification. I booked today for 5 days and wish to cancel it, but it is not valid 😩

Location is the best at this hotel. Breakfast is really just not good (8,50€).Rooms are.. .. Just underwhelming plus there is sth like a school nearby so it gets really loud in the morning and noon. If you are so tight on money go for it, or just stay home and safe more money for sth decent

I was absolutely delighted with my stay. The rooms are clean and cozy, quiet location very near metro and tram station. What more could you need?

You get what you pay for, was good for just one night. Couldn't quite get over the room layout.. very bizarre! Staff were friendly and helpful. Our only real gripe was that there were only two very thin pillows available!

Modestly furnished room without fridge or wardrobe. Everything clean, comfortable bed. The shower is right in the room. Suitable for singles or couples looking for a comfortable place to sleep.

The location was great, close to the train to the airport, and also close to subway stations to easily get around the city. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good value for money. Only minor niggle is that there is a sign by the sink saying that in order to reduce waste there are no cups in the rooms anymore and you can refill your water bottle at the tap, but the sink is too small/ the tap too low down to do that, so cups are actually needed to drink water from the tap

Clean, spacious rooms, situated in the proximity of a direct metro line connection with the hearth of city! Nice continental breakfast option for only 10 euros/day. Discreet and helpful staff. 3*s conditions for a price of 2* ! I highly recommend!

We stood for 6 nights, me my wife and our dog. The room was clear, the breakfast was very simple but it was ok, the staff in general was very kind. The beds, and the provided pillow were not nice... It would be ok to stay for one or two days, but sleeping with that pillow was a pain after 3 nights... I asked for an extra pillow but they were all gone (easy to understand as probably everyone does not like the pillows). I think it is a good cost vs benefit hotel, but I would not stay for more than two night next time.

Nice hotel. Service is very good 👍

  • 2/5 Jan P. 1 year ago on Google
The most basic room. Both bathroom and toilet are in the same room, which is really bad, they are not divided by concrete walls or doors. Other places for similar prices are much better.

Nice place for holiday. We will come back.

  • 4/5 Ramzi H. 1 year ago on Google
Nice and relaxing beds. Close to the center. Prices are very competitive when looking at the average in Vienna. Took 2 rooms as a family package for 2 adults and 2 kids, we had more than enough space for all. Parking is under the building but not run by the hotel. Parking price for 24hrs was higher than what is advertised on their web. Facilities are basic but more than I asked for in a overnight stop.

Having stayed in 4-star hotels throughout my trip this hotel came as a pleasant surprise. Yes there are some things you need to get used to - the hostel like appearance, the maze of corridors and the occassional loud people in the hallway - but the rooms while sparse are very comfortable. A couple of things could have been better (my shower didn't drain properly and the first time I tried to find my room I ended up in the parking garage (don't ask) but with my room being cleaned every day and the great breakfast I am willing to overlook that for the great price.

  • 5/5 Stephen G. 11 months ago on Google
The room is as per the other pictures. Functional and reasonably priced. Currently the water makes a banging noise and the building next door is being knocked down so you can’t sleep beyond 7am. This will be short term but overall pragmatic and functional. 👍

The guy during the evening (very short hair) was so rude to us. He was not nice to me and the rest of my friends. You can see when somebody does not enjoy with his job (he was not enjoying at all). The rest of the staff during the morning (two ladies), the people in the buffet during the breakfast and the other guy during the evening were so nice. Rooms are a bit too simple (the shower in the middle of the room is a bit wierd), but everything very clean I have to say.

Doors were frequently hard to open, not just for us but at least 4 other rooms on our floor. Was treated as if it was something normal. Aside from that the breakfast was good and the rooms were clean.

  • 5/5 Henriette E. 7 months ago on Google
We really like our stay in the ibis budget Hotel. The only thing that bothers me is that the toilet door in our room isn't a normal one. It's open at the top and bottom, so there is no real privacy. Otherwise it's all good.

  • 4/5 Bilge Y. 9 months ago on Google
The room was clean and big enough for 2 people. the breakfast was rich and the buffet was okay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We left our luggage after our checkout. The location is good and very close to Bahnhof and Prater. We checked in a bit earlier and they did not mind it. Our room was ready. The bathroom was clean as well but it has a different structure than other hotels. The shower was right in the room and the toilet was separated by a door. The sink was bad and when you open the water, the water is not going away and cumulated in the sink. The toilet door does not have a door holder and it is always open when you are in there. It is awful.

Clean room, comfortable beds, quie to the breakfast in the morning, but shower is not separate from part with beds. Only WC is separate.

  • 3/5 George T. 1 year ago on Google
Liked · Check-in/out process is fast and easy. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodative. The location was practical as it was nearby the train/tram/metro station, supermarkets, cafe, restaurants, the Danube river and the Prater Amusement Park. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Disliked · The first day there was no hot water and after speaking with reception the next day, they told us that we need to let the water run for 5-10 minutes in order to have hot water. However, when the hot water comes it doesn't have a consistent temperature. The toilet room is a bit claustrophobic. Also, there was not enough space to place our stuff (luggage, clothes), and there was no hangers to hang the towels near the shower. Finally, there was only one socket on one side of the bed.

  • 3/5 Matko B. 6 months ago on Google
The room was ok, reception staff nice, but what I found so weird was the cleaning staff knocking on our doors 15mins before the check out to tell us to go out, informing us that we've got 10mins to leave. That's unprofessional and in our case totally unwarranted as we vacated the room on time, respecting the checkout time, even without the weird intrusion.

If you are travelling with family special with kid it’s not the best place for you.The rooms are very small and when I requested the staff to get some hot water (electric kettle is not available in room)they were very rude and told me that they are not responsible for my kid. They are not at all entertaining any special request for anyone.please consider this while booking for this hotel so you don’t have to be troubled like me

Good location and got it for a reasonable price of 60 EUR for 2 people, service was really good and staff were really nice. The shower situation was a bit awkward tho, since there is no real seperation of the bathroom/shower

  • 3/5 Richard T. 2 years ago on Google
Location okey, rooms are very basic. I know its a budget ibis but reminded me of a hospital room. Breakfast was good for 8 euros. All in all, lives up to the budget name

  • 5/5 Fernando C. 2 years ago on Google
very good location is in the middle of two metro stations one is two minutes away and the other five minutes away walking the hotel is very clean the rooms in good condition the staff is attentive to help and guide

Really budget hotel. Bad: No closing for on toilet (just a wood plate) shower in the room, no parking (a little discount for a day rate). Water tasting funny. Good: clean, admites dogs and wheelchair availability.

Check in guy was really unpleasant and rude. Concept of open bathroom is not comfortable at all. I had allergies to the bed sheets making my stay really terrible. Otherwise size of the room is ok, I booked a 3 person bedroom and got a twin bed bedroom so not satisfied.

  • 5/5 Adrian T. 1 year ago on Google
I mean, this place is cheap, the rooms are basic but the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean, the room was also very quiet. Location very convenient. Nothing to complain about. I didn't get the breakfast as 8.50 is quite a lot, I think probably better to go to a nearby cafe but i didn't try it so I can't comment there.

When you come in a budget hotel you don't expect much, you're just here to get a room to sleep in. But when you arrive and you don't get the room you booked (2 bed bedroom for a couple instead of a one bed bedroom) and the toilets don't even have a handle and struggle to close on their own and the shower is also in the bedroom, so RIP intimacy, you're still somehow disappointed. Only one side of the bed has a plug too... It probably is not representative of the hotel and was likely an unfortunate accident for us but we had a cockroach in our room too. Apart from that, the hotel is very clean and nicely located, with the subway just a few minutes away, so it does the job.

It is nice and tidy affordable hotel with clean rooms and the best location. Both city center and Vienna International Centre are close by few stops on underground/metro. I give it 4.5 star overall rating based on my experience.

  • 4/5 Arnab D. 1 year ago on Google
Couldn't give 5 starts for just 2 things. A) missed a hair dryer badly, B) there was no shampoo/hair wash in the shower. Everything else was pretty apt. Really enjoyed the stay. Would really like to repeat whenever in the city. 😊

  • 4/5 A L. 1 year ago on Google
Great stay for the price, nicely located, only four stops by underground to historical center, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, parking in the garage, all we needed is here. It was fun to have a shower not separated from the room.

  • 4/5 Snieguole Z. 2 years ago on Google
The room was serviced daily, close to the center, good transport links. Price and quality are available for several nights. No refrigerator in room, and shower without a wall into the room, a little uncomfortable.Furniture and interior are minimal.

  • 1/5 Enis Y. 1 year ago on Google
Unfortunately this will be my first and last stay at Ibis budget hotels. First, the shower and WC is seperate and shower is literally IN the room. And the shower is see-through. That may be ok for a single room, but in a family room, it is not. No one wants to take a shower in front of their child. Second, the door of the bathroom is silly, you can't close/lock it. Third, there isn't enough space for anything (luggage, clothes, etc.) The only thing that is good with this hotel is the location. Pay €20 more and book a different hotel.

  • 3/5 Josianne Z. 1 year ago on Google
The room was clean but small for my liking. I would recommend this hotel for business trips or if your idea is to use the hotel just to sleep and not spend a lot of time in the room.

  • 3/5 Jeroen B. 2 years ago on Google
Every time I book an ibis budget hotel (because I'm Dutch and therefore cheap...) I regret it instantly when entering the room. It's so basic, it's a little depressing. But then again, it's super cheap, quite clean and perfectly fine for a rest and a shower. This Vienna one is run well and clean, I might end up here again...

We are spending a weekend in Wien and this hotel is dirty! The list is disgusting with spits in it of drunk people. Sheets are dirty and full of hair. We asked a change. Room are what they are for a 2 stars hotel, you cannot ask for more. Breakfast too! Staff is kind.

It was a very clean and nice hotel with wonderful view. 10 min walk from train station. Staff were nice and helpful. The rooms service was very good.

  • 4/5 Bollejef 1 year ago on Google
Nice basic hotel 5min walk from prater. Everything you can expect from an ibis budget, our only problem with the room was that it had some weird stains at the bottom of the top bunk bed.

The best ever affordable in Viena

  • 4/5 Alex K. 1 year ago on Google
For a budget hotel it does the job. Close enough to metro to access anywhere in the city. Check-in was easy and we felt secure. The room is very minimal, almost dorm style, but it was clean and spacious. Walls are thin if you have someone loud near you and the water in the shower wasn’t consistently hot. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. Iron and hair dryer available for 20€ deposit.

  • 5/5 İrem Deniz A. 1 year ago on Google
Stayed there for 4 nights. Room was clean and staff was really kind. They answered our questions about the city nicely. The room does not offer you much, just what you would expect from an Ibis Budget. If you are looking for a cheap, clean place that you would only use for spending the night for your Vienna trip, this would be the place. Really close to the metro station so it is really easy to get to city’s attractions.

We dragged our mattresses in the floor because it was more comfortable than the bed. The pillows are a joke, they are thin like paper… you can get a second one at the reception (did not help at all tho). My blanked was yellow and looked like they picked it up from a dumpster, it also smelled weird. There is no lock on the toilet door, it just swings open and close and the floor was wet, which is very disgusting when it happens inside the toilet room. The shower is basically in the middle of the room and is clear. (totally not fun staying here with your sibling) Our shower leaked on the side, which led to some water running out into our room. It is impossible to open the windows all the way, which made the room disgustingly humid. There is NO storage space at all except 5 hangers for two people. Also no space to store your luggage. The LED lights are again a total joke. You cant even see them at night even when the other lights are turned off plus they started to peel from the wall. Only one side of the bed had an outlet. You do have a sink in your room but no possibility to drink from it, because they do not provide you with anything to drink from (sink is to narrow to fit your head) The soap bar is so small, i thought it was some kind of candy. At night the location is very unpleasant and as a female actually kind of scary. A simple plain water costs 2,20€ for 0,5l at the vending machine in the lobby. Said machine takes coins only… There is no blow dryer at all at the hotel, you have to pay 20€ extra to geht access to one. Imagine paying money just to end up sleeping at the floor to get some kind if rest. Please just look for another hotel. This one is a joke, I am unsure if i want to laugh or cry real hard😂. No one should stay here, you can do way way better for basically the same price.
