Stayed
here
for
5
nights,
and
it's
a
visually
beautiful
hotel
in
a
great
location
with
an
impressive
buffet
breakfast
(loved
it!)
but
as
is
the
case
with
many
large
hotels,
scratch
the
surface
and
it's
a
little
lacking:
-
Bar
staff
were
great
and
attentive.
-
Reception
staff
seemed
like
they
were
new
and
very
young.
They
were
unaware
of
the
"pillow
menu"
(there's
a
copy
in
every
room),
they
also
didn't
know
how
to
post
a
postcard
on
my
behalf
(also
a
service
advertised
in
the
in-room
guide)
-
We
were
a
male
couple
-
But
complementary
robes
and
slippers
were
"His
and
Hers"
(the
"hers"
items
are
a
smaller
size
and
didn't
fit
either
of
us)
They
also
knew
it
was
two
males
staying
in
the
king
size
bed
-
I
observed
on
a
number
of
occasions
that
guests
who
were
being
rude
or
aggressive
to
staff
received
better
service
-
I'm
was
not
comfortable
acting
like
that
to
receive
the
service
expected
from
a
5
star
hotel
-
The
"gym"
is
a
tiny
sweat
box
with
minimal
equipment
for
any
kind
of
work
out
(clearly
added
to
achieve
5
star
status)
-
We
decided
to
stay
an
additional
2
nights
in
Vienna.
When
I
asked
at
reception
if
we
could
extend
our
stay,
i
was
advised
they
were
fully
booked
(fair
enough).
I
then
showed
them
their
own
website
which
showed
two
rooms
available.
Reception
said
this
was
a
mistake
and
they
would
close
these
off.
We
then
contacted
our
travel
agent,
who
could
also
see
two
rooms
available
through
his
system.
I
checked
again
2
hours
later,
and
still
two
rooms
available.
There
was
no
offer
from
Reception
to
help
us
find
another
hotel,
just
a
blunt
"We
are
fully
booked".
We
ended
up
moving
hotels,
but
I
checked
again
that
night,
and
surprise,
surprise,
there
was
our
room
available,
but
at
triple
the
cost.
Would
not
recommend
for
anyone
looking
for
good
customer
service,
but
if
you
just
want
a
pretty
room,
go
for
it.
