It was an incredible stay! The receptionist was very nice and fast when doing the checkin and very friendly. The rooms super modern and well decorated with nice touches. It was well equipped with its kettle for coffee and tea. And the beds and pillows super comfortable soft and amazing. I totally loved the design of the hotel itself and also the carpeting and rooms. The political rubber duck was super funny!

Great modern and cozy hotel in an amazing location just in the center of Vienna, we had a wonderful stay. The main thing of importance for us was the location, it's a 3-5 min. walk away from the bus station, the subway and the airport shuttle station, and about the same distance from some very busy streets full of restaurants, bars and shops, so it was amazing! The room was a bit small and during the weekend nights if the windows are open, you'd hear some noise from the bars down the street, but overall it was clean and neat, and the staff and the service were great 👍🏼

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel in terms of its location. You take bus 2 from the airport and you are almost in front of the hotel in 20 minutes. All the attractions of the city center are within a short walk. The hotel rooms are stylish and nicely decorated. The staff are very friendly and professional. They had a very positive attitude overall. The reason that I didn't score 5 stars is because there are no bars or restaurants at the lobby that is open most of the day (at least on Sunday and Monday evening). The hotel directs you to their sister Mercure hotel which is just across the street if you wanna get a drink. I found the breakfast costs super expensive -- 20 Euros for an open buffet (even though it was pretty good with a wide variety of options). Still the central location creates many alternative options. Overall, I would definitely stay here again avoiding the breakfast due to its cost.

We were well looked after by the team at the Mercury Vienna First. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The bonus of a mini bar with free water and soft drinks was most welcome. Location wise, it is perfect. Despite being close to all the action during the New Year period, it was still remarkably quiet at night with no crowds. Everything was easily accessible either on foot or by public transport. We would certainly return here when we next visit Vienna!

The hotel is clean. The rooms are quite small but they have all the necessary equipment in it. Since it is in the clubs street, you hear people scattering shouting until the very Early morning. But when you get out of the hotel you are right in the middle of the center which is something i liked a lot.The only problem that we faced on the same minute we arrived at the hotel was the unwelcoming attitude of the receptionist Lady. While she was explaining the hotel rules she acted as if we were dangerous People from an outer space like a threat or something like that. From that time on my husband and i avoided coming across with this Lady. Her attitude irritated us.

The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. The location in the city center is an extra advantage so every place is just in a distance of couple of minutes! I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Vienna!

Beware - Don’t stay here, they will scam you! Location is solid, rooms are ok. Biggest problem is they lie to you and do not honor what they say. When checking in they told us explicitly that breakfast was included in our booking. Upon check out they had changed their mind and charged us 200 euros for their honestly terrible breakfast! I never would have eaten it if they hadn’t told us explicitly it was free! When I brought this up to the front desk, they did nothing and told me I needed to provide documentation they told me it was included, as if I should be fact checking every thing each employee tells me and getting documentation for it. Really bad hospitality and they will scam you. If you decide to stay, I guess you have to get everything they tell you in writing and notarized? Oh also the shower was clogged the whole time and they never came to fix it. Edit to address the issues in the hotel’s response: - the words I am using are accurately describing what happened - your front desk employee told me it was included while I was checking in, not “one of my colleagues” - I did pay for it at checkout - not sure why you would come on here and lie some more, this should have been an easy solve for someone in the hospitality industry, just honor what you tell your customers!

The room was clean and modern The location is central and close to everything The only issue is they took a pre authorization on my account $390 euro( over $100 euro more then required) then when I went to check out they told me I still need to pay as they had an issue getting the funds ( even though they were taken from my account ) so I was left paying over $1100 aud for two nights . Still waiting for the original amount to be returned to me. The lady at the counter was rude about the whole experience also.

Fantastic location. We spent three days here and walked to everything. The rooms themselves were very thoughtfully laid out and comfortable . We had a first floor room with a view of the courtyard in front. There were lots of bars around so there was the occasional late night noise, but nothing that bothered us much. Would absolutely stay here again

Hotel staff were all friendly and room was really nice. Very accommodating in terms of prior to staying, I had asked for the room to be decorated with happy birthday balloons and petals etc and that was done to an amazing standard! So thank you for that. One thing I would recommend and why we weren’t extremely satisfied, is that the everyday breakfast was the same and not much choice of hot food for vegetarians where we were eating cheese sandwiches everyday! Overall our experience was good and only because of the location I’d recommend to others, however would look to eat breakfast elsewhere.

Hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Vienna. At night it's quite a lively little corner of the city. Hotel itself is great, staff were all very helpful. Good breakfast choices, big fan of the curried herring. Room was well equipped and comfortable, only slight note is that we found it a little warm. Recommended as a base for exploring the lovely city of Vienna.

This is NOT a 4 star hotel whatsoever. It’s an oddly located overpriced “boutique” hotel with dark hallways, small rooms, and noisy. You can hear everyone’s conversations as they walk down the hall. The beds and pillows were hard and uncomfortable. Before you book - you must know that it’s impossible to drive up to the hotel and you have to walk about a block down cobblestone with your luggage. Once you’re at the hotel, it’s a great place to walk to the main streets and shops. Rooms in the front overlook a courtyard of restaurants which get noisy particularly on weekends.

The hotel is 150 meters from the old center of Vienna and in an entertainment area with many restaurants and bars. A beautiful hotel. The rooms are clean and pleasant. A little small. Amazing breakfast. One of a kind with a selection of quality items. Very good coffee machine. Receptionists professional services. Always greet and smile. The reception manager is a kind, professional and sensitive guy. We will come back again for sure. Thank you for the amazing attitude and the delicious waffles. Looking forward to coming back again.

Came to Vienna for a training conference, Front desk staff were very friendly, able to provide advice on nearby places to eat since we arrived late in the evening. Middle of summer so having control of the AC in the room was great, room was very spacious with bathroom/shower. Breakfast is the standard fare but plenty of options to choose from.

Tatjana and Magda were very kind and excellent in their service. The breakfast is always freshly prepared and their take rounds to check with the guests if everything is in order. That’s what I call service! thank you!

The staff was very friendly and helpful making us comfortable and making restaurant recommendations. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location is central to many sites in walking distance.

Tahana and Leon provided excellent service and buffet offered much more than we anticipated for breakfast, offering American and European options. Nice hotel, very clean and quiet at night!

Simply, beat hotel in Vienna. Everything is just a walk ....great breakfast, clean spacious rooms, massive size toilet , great modern decoration ...and outstanding staff .... especially Mr. Oliver .

Good location. Located near Schwedenplatz and Val bus stop. The rooms are very nice. A complimentary bottle of still water is waiting for you in your room. Very fast check in/out. Competitive price.

A very centrally located, which means you can walk St. Stephan Cathedral and most of all the tourists' attractions in central Wien on foot. Facility-wise, old building, smallish rooms but very clean and tidy including bathroom. Has a small restaurant on ground floor which serves continental breakfast ans a few warm food like scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. There is another Mercure hotel around 50 meters away that might have a bigger restaurant and bar but we did not bother as this hotel was satisfying enough. I wouln't ming going back.

Absolutely Amazing Stay. We stayed here for 6 days and found everything first class. The room was perfect. We were on our honeymoon and had the perfect stay. The staff were so friendly and informative. Michael in the breakfast room was exceptionally helpful. We will definitely return to this wonderful hotel.

A small and comfortable hotel. Location is great. 3 minutes walk from st. Stephene's cathedral and about 5 minutes from public transport. Breakfast was expensive so we ate outside (a lot of places to eat near by). The only downside to this hotel was wall to wall carpet, so not very friendly to allergies, but other than that really good hotel.

Friendly staff and great location. The room does not justify the price. Small rooms and need improvement on the cleanliness.

If I visited Vienna again, I would choose the same hotel. Very clean with nice decoration. In the center of the city. Close to metro station. Many restaurants plus supermarkets around. You can go everywhere on foot. Very nice choice. I strongly recommend it.

Great location, modern design, friendly staff, everything was just perfect! I absolutely loved the VIENNA logo in the lobby and the painting on the ceiling. Plus they prepared a birthday surprise for me (wishes card, sweets and wine in the room).. So sweet! ❣ Would definitely recommend!

Good hotel with good amenities. Decor is fine, slightly outdated 'glam' styling. Cold daily glass bottled water (mineral and still) which was great. Nescafe coffee, no pods. Pillows were extremely flat and lifeless so these absolutely need to be improved. Two single blankets despite having a double bed which was odd. We had an issue with our flight so asked the staff for some help, they said they'd get back to us but never did which was not fabulous customer service. Forgot a piece of wool clothing in the hotel, hotel didn't bother to contact us about it. Location is a real selling point - very central. Shower was good and spacious. Not bad, not fabulous.

Great hotel, I was in a standard room on the top floor which at first felt small but in reality it was perfect. Complimentary water in the fridge, bathroom essentials and strong free WiFi. Staff very helpful especially when my bus to airport did not stop....they arranged a taxi. Breakfast was buffet style and had everything you could want. No complaints

Lovely older hotel with great staff, 10 minute walk to Stephansplatz. Onsite restaurant was good, beds were comfortable enough, showers were great. Only real complaint is that the rooms were very dark.

Nice, clean & efficient hotel in a good location. Pillows were bad, and the bed wasn't the best. Breakfast way too expensive.

Total avoid I order a taxi to airport and they charge me almost double they have the own taxi driver with extra price don't trust them.

Standard hotel, nicely located in a pedestrian zone next to bars and walking distance to main tourist attractions. The room and bathroom were arranged practically but the room was very dark and had no nice view. The room service did daily an excellent job and the room was generally clean. However, the room's carpet has by definition a low hygiene.

Second stay. Well located and nice bathroom and shower, bed. Breakfast fine. But not ideal for business travellers. WiFi - inexplicably complex and poorly explained - would not work on any device so used my phone. Called front desk for help but no answer. Tiny desk without power socket, so really not able to work there.

the hotel is conveniently located, the room is good, the breakfast is very ordinary. I was surprised that you can’t pour tea/coffee yourself, you have to wait for the waiter. the lady at the reception - we were leaving on January 1st - was not very kind, payment for parking was not fast, and we did not receive a clear explanation, there were difficulties when leaving - first you had to insert the card that you take at the entrance, then insert the card from the hotel. By the way, the parking is not at the hotel, as stated when booking, but public, 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel. really a nice bonus, the price per day is 28 euros instead of 40, as stated upon entry.

The hotel is perfectly adequate for a short stay, easy walking distance from public transport with many landmarks within walking distance. One receptionist deserves a special mention - Katerina - she was so friendly and helpful. The area is quiet, there are steps up in one direction and the area does look like a bombsite on approach! The room was clean and comfortable but we we next to the lift which was very annoying as it was noisy.

Had my room upgraded free of charge without even having to ask. My upgraded room came with complimentary stocked mini fridge. I was travelling with my partner for my birthday and entered my room to find a bottle of wine, two glasses, and a happy birthday note. The hotel was always clean and was in the perfect location to explore all that Vienna has to offer. I can't recommend this hotel enough, 10/10.
